Do not go to this BWW location! Bad food worse service and the TVs are ancient, 15 years old

I expected nothing less but it is generic and fried. However If I come here I know that is what I am getting--so I cannot complain.

Hey for a sports bar and you want to eat junk food and have plenty of tv choices this places is quite good. The tailgater they have is perfect if you can't decide on apps. The dry rub wings....quite good. Can't ask for me for a sports bar. read more

I am not a big fan of buffalo wings at all anywhere. However, I did enjoy my meal and the service was wonderful.

Came here a couple of times and each time I come, the service is very slow. The waitress was nice but very slow. Another thing, it is so cold in the restaurant that it became unbearable. We asked for them to change the temperature but they made it even colder. Overall, it was not a good experience. read more

This is maybe the slowest service I have ever experienced. It took us about 5 minutes to be seated when the lobby looked rather empty and after we were seated, it took us about 10 minutes for them to even take our order. After they took our order, we waited for an hour for our food but it didn't come so we left because we had other commitments. Overall terrible experience:( read more

We ordered take out a few weeks ago, and they messed up our order. Last night, I again went to get some take out, and again, when I came home, we found the sauces were missing. I understand this is a new restaurant, with some growing pains, but by now they should have their act together. I don't think we will be back. Tried yet again to give this place a chance because I really do enjoy their flats with any of their sweet Thai chili mango habanero etc mixtures! However --I made it from the front door to the bar and passed no less than 15 Angry surly employees that couldn't give a fuck that a a customer that might actually tip walked in the door. Wings are passable here, but they're generally on the small side. Boneless wings are essentially smaller chicken strips. There are wing specials on Tuesdays (boneless wings) and Thursdays (regular wings), but be warned that if you order the specials on these days, they will charge $.60 for each sauce (which usually comes with the wings as does side veggies). I really like their potato wedges which are chive and garlic flavored albeit they are a little on the expensive side. I've been here probably 4-5 times since they've opened and the service here is questionable, which definitely knocks a star off. The last time I was here, our waitress was hard to get ahold of at times and they were out of one of the special sauces they had. read more

I love Tuesday's at BWW's because it's 1/2 price wings... friendly staff, management walks around checking on your table, lots of tv's for sports, kid friendly, decent beer selection, and the food is tasty. Especially the meaty wings! read more

I love BWW ESPECIALLY when I can get the discount wings. The Asian Zing are probably my favorites, but I'd love to try EVERY flavor if I could get endless wings again! I always go for the Mango Habenero...but forget how spicy it actually is. Either way, ask your waiter/waitress to give you a sample of the flavor and ALWAYS go for the wings. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars or maybe even negative stars! This is one of the worst run restaurants that I have ever seen! Extreme bottle neck of patrons at the entrance where the take out registers are. Only one associate taking to go orders yet the line was out the door. Saw one hostess actually sitting down conversing with a patron like she was on break and only occasionally walked up to the hostess stand to seat people that were dining in. I saw no leadership, no organization, no delegation of duty to help make the customer experience better. I waited nearly an hour for a simple order of wings that I think they gave to someone else because they were so confused and overwhelmed with take out patrons. There should have been a manager to assess the situation and stand in where needed. The take out associate was very incompetent didn't even communicate to find out why my order was taking so long and had no sense of urgency. I literally had to stand in front of her for 15 minutes to remind her that I still needed my food that I had already paid for. Who ever is managing this train wreck should me fired immediately. I hope 10,000 people read this so they will just shut this place down! read more

Go in for the wings and nothing more. Like all other locations there are many sauces to choose from. I liked the hot wings and also liked the boneless asian zing wings. The ranch and blue cheese dippings were pretty good and for the prices the portions are as always buffalo sized chicken portions :) read more

I love their food, don't get me wrong. The wings are huge, the apps are tasty and the beer is plentiful. The service is not great, at all. Long waits, terrible bar service, the servers often forget about you or forget what you've ordered. If you want something on their TV, forget about it. After calling ahead, it still took 20 minutes for the game we wanted to watch to be put on one of the many TV's. I will say that I've never had a rude server, they've all been very nice. After waiting 20 minutes for our bill to be picked up, I walked past 5 or 6 servers just standing around near the kitchen before having the manager ring me up. read more

I had been pretty excited to try out the wings and different sauces. I ended up going with my sister after we got home from a long road trip, and didn't want to cook dinner. We were super hungry, and it was pretty late. There also wasn't really any event on TV, so it was pretty dead. Despite that, we waited a pretty long time before we were offered menus and could order drinks. My sister ordered a flat bread, and I got two types of their spicy wings. While the wings were fine and quite spicy, they just weren't anything to write home about, which is sad for a chain named after wings. Sauces were a little uninspired and the chicken wasn't the highest quality. Service continued to be pretty slow, and it was difficult to get additional drinks or the check. My sister's flat bread was straight up terrible. Seemed like it was probably frozen and reheated. At the end of the meal, the prices were surprisingly high. Not outrageous, but it just seemed like more than I was expecting. There were quite a few TVs however, and lots of sports on, so that was fine. If you're looking for the best wings and sports in the Triangle, I recommend the Carolina Ale House. Better beer selection, better prices, better wings, way better service. read more

The GrubHub/Buffalo Wild Wings partnership leaves a lot to be desired. I placed an order through GH and upon delivery, the drinks were absent and the wrap we ordered did not have the requested sauce. I contacted GH and after an hour they were willing to offer a coupon worth far less than the botched items. Although the majority of the onus in this situation was on GH, BWW did not work with them to correct the issue per the GH chat agent I worked with. I'll likely still be a patron because the food is good, but this was a bit absurd. read more

My husband and I have always chosen buffalo wild wings as our go to when it comes to our wing cravings. These past months our experience at this place has not been pleasant from our food always arriving cold to the wait time being incredibly long and nothing is done even if we take it up to the manager. We have not even able to dine here twice this month because we are told the wait time is 1 hr long because of low staff which is really disappointing. I am not usually a type of person that likes to review businesses but I felt it was necessary to let everyone know how our experience with this business has been. read more

Food was great, but very slow to come out. The service was slow and it was obvious that this is just they way things are, because no one was concerned. The restrooms were dirty, and after waiting 30 minutes for the food we had to trackdown our hostes to try to get our drinks filled. You use to pay by how many you want in theit orders and now they go by weight ( !!$$....), so when you used to have 12 , you end up with 9!!!!! What a cheap way to scam your customers..... read more

About a week ago, a friend of mine was visiting from out of town Being the longstanding BWW enthusiasts that we are, we trekked the 18 minute voyage to this restaurant from Carrboro to get our fix. The experience begun fairly positive; I ordered undoubtably the dankest item on the menu (BBQ chicken wrap) and my friend requested honey barbecue wings. We also realized we would unquestionably be craving the delicious goodness of Buffalo Wild Wings in the hours soon following our dinner, so we also decided to order more food to go. I asked for a to-go order of snack sized wings, and he ordered a larger batch of wings so there would be some to take home. It wasn't long until our food arrived, and I, for one, became particularly elated as I prepared myself for the soon-to-be Wild Wings induced bliss. I want it to be noted that I publicly kissed my chicken wrap, and this is not a metaphor. For a moment, everything was right in my world, and this could be, perhaps, the best day of my life. The two of us ate and ate, opening our mouths, never to speak, only to catch our breaths and take another bite. It seemed as if either only moments, or centuries, had gone by by the time our appetites had subsided long enough to ask Ron (or whatever his name was, I honestly don't remember) for the check and some to-go boxes. He promptly complied and returned with the requested items, and additionally brought my extra set of wings for me to take home. It seemed to be another successful BWW trip for the books. My friend and I both got up to leave and headed outside to my car. BUT WAIT! I was reminded that we had forgotten the leftovers on the table. I shrieked, and my friend turned around to sprint back inside to chase the lost goodies. I pulled the car around and waited for a few minutes before my friend returned, empty handed. My heart sunk. He informed me that upon searching for our leftover snacks, he was given word that they had already been THROWN AWAY! It was devastating news, and truthfully, it was all we could talk about for the entire 18 minute drive home. I immediately contemplated writing an angry Yelp review, but thought to myself, "no, Lindsay. Don't be that guy. You're better than that." and tried to combat my inner dialogue calling me to act out. But it has now been eight days, and I still cannot stop thinking about those wings. Will I ever one day be reunited with the restaurant that once brought me so much joy, or will this experience forever hinder my ability to return? I guess time, and time alone, will be the only indicator. As I slowly re-gain ability to trust ever again, I want to heed this advice to each and every one of you: keep track of your leftovers, guys. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there, and no one will look out for you but you. Take care, be safe, and enjoy your wings, as some of us were never given the opportunity to do as such. read more

Later that night I received a call and a text from AMEX that my card had been compromised and someone was running around with a copied card in North Carolina charging things at McDonald's. Poor service. We were sitting at the table for a while and the servers treated us as we were not there. It was not a busy time at all. People who came later than us got served and started to eat but we did not get a glass of water. Had to stop a server and managed to order. The food was so so. Fries were too salty. Then several servers stopped by our table with food we did not order so we had to stop conversation and said we did not order that. Well before we finished eating the waitress came with the bill and asked several times whether we were ordering more food or paying right away. I had to give her my card before I finished eating to make her stop asking. We felt very uncomfortable with the way the servers treated us, so I don't even remember whether the wings were good or not. And the game player for kids need to be cleaned. read more

Worst BWW ever, the service sucks, managers suck. So many other wings places why waste your time here. I have spent my share of time in BWWs all over the country and this one was the absolute worst. The servers were more focused on chatting it up at the host stand and the manager was nowhere to be found until we went to leave and did not want to hear what we had to say about how poor the food and the service was. Poor chips and salsa, too few stale tortilla chips to go with the poor tasting salsa. Wings were terrible. Don't waste your time or money. Woww! I travel all over the US and this by far is the WORST buffalo wild wing I have ever been to! I am a district manager myself and know how important these things are. First off, I wasn't greeted at the door so I walked myself to the bar. It took 15 minutes for someone to take my order. The 2 staff members I came in contact with were great, I didn't catch the first waitresses name because NO ONE had name tags on! However, I did catch the bartenders name, Cheryl! Drinks at the bar were on point and Cheryl was great, but waiting for the food was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I came in for beer and sports, and ordered a small tiny order of the cheesecake bites, it's now been over 2 hours and have not received them. Bottom line, food service is terrible, takes forever, the bathroom was flooded with no sign, manager never came and said anything to us! I would NEVER come here again or recommend anyone this this location. I've been to bww all over the US and this THEE WORST! Negative 10 stars if I could. read more

I've been to this location a few times as I live very close, however I have always been disappointed. Today, at the recommendation of a friend, I decided to give them another try... bad idea. Most Bdubs I've been to have horrible service so I don't know why I would think this new location would be different. Alas, service is slow but the wings are good, the atmosphere is fun during games, and I just skip the drinks because they are watered down anyway. If you are in the mood for wings and it's either Tuesday or Thursday (wing days at Bdubs) then go ahead, but if its any other day of the week just get the wings to-go and save yourself. read more

Traveling alone for work, I have the benefit of eating at various places "on the house." BWW is always a good choice although tonight, the wings let me down. I went for one of the dry rubs "cant recall which one" instead of the traditional sauces. Big mistake - made me choke! Otherwise, the bar service is spot-on, with local brews on-tap and knowledgeable barkeeps. Other than the traditional hot wings, which are solid, I haven't tried much else. read more

I'd really hate to see what the service would be like if the restaurant was actually busy. Took forever for our waitress to come to the table. Then took forever to get our food. Then our waitress never came back to check if we needed anything. Even took forever to get the check after we gave her our card to pay. Oh yeah, the food was bad too. The boneless wings were more breading than chicken and the wedges with cheese looked like they had sat out overnight under the heat lamp.
