Couples that have been together for 5+ years can probably attest to the fact that some of your preferences start aligning (definitely the case for my wife and I); therefore, we both opted for the Bacon-Smashed Hatch Chile Burger with regular fries + Desert Heat Dry Rub and cheese dipping sauce. Upon arrival, our orders were both fairly hot (no complaints). The Desert Heat Dry Rub paired perfectly with the large portion of fries. Unfortunately, our burger was ok, but not as delicious as anticipated. The burger patty was overcooked (well-done), lacked adequate sauce (moderately dry), and was overall much smaller than expected. Such a disappointing experience today! I was already turned off when we walked in and made us wait there for a few minutes before seating us in the half empty restaurant. I understand if it's busy or you're short on servers, but I saw them walking around slowly with no urgency at all. The buffalo chicken tots was the only saving grace today, and the only reason we still walked out with a mostly full stomach. They were loaded and had plenty of each ingredient. But then our boneless wings came out. Even the sauced ones tasted dry still! So much batter and so little meat. Even ranch couldn't save it. The orange chicken flavor had zero citrus flavor whatsoever, I almost wonder if they used the wrong sauce or if that's what their interpretation of orange chicken is. I was able to take advantage of a monthly special, and got my granddaughter's cheeseburger for free, just paying a little extra by subbing her fries out for a salad and adding bacon to her burger. The free burger is with a $15 purchase, which I covered with my Mushroom Swiss burger. It was the best Mushroom Swiss burger, with two fresh beef patties, Swiss cheese, fresh mushrooms, and a combination of Mayo, aioli Mayo and a honey Mayo carefully added to give it a delicious flavor. It was so stacked and juicy, I had to cut it in half. I had my burger with delicious crispy fries, and shared with my granddaughter, while she enjoyed her very fresh garden salad with ranch dressing. The manager, Rudy, stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed, and grabbed another ranch dressing for the salad to make sure there was enough. Our server, Andrea was an absolute pleasure, and so sweet and efficient. She was always checking on us, even with all the tables she was covering. It's no wonder her shirt said Certified Trainer, an obvious choice to train other servers. I was also able to see any sports channel I wanted to keep up with football, basketball, etc, because there were numerous screens available above the bar and throughout the restaurant. We've had several birthday parties here in the past because the extra room outside (but enclosed) is perfect for private parties. Rudy also made sure we were taking advantage of the monthly special. Came for dinner on Friday night. Figured it would be pretty packed but didn't take too long for us to be seated as a party of three. No issues with service really. The food was super disappointing to me. We got the 15 piece traditional wings to share and you get to choose 3 flavors. They don't really have combos and everything is a la carte so the fries were a separate add on. I think doing combo deals would be a good idea if they ever choose to do that. I don't like leaving poor reviews but I do think that it should be honest. First is positive because the service was good, in fact quite attentive. The food on the other hand was at best, POOR. We had the bottomless appetizers. We chose mozzarella sticks, chips and guacamole as well as hatch queso and onion rings. The guacamole and mozzarella sticks were okay but the hatch queso was very watery and cold. The server did replace it for another serving but it came back the same. The onion rings also came out cold (just gross). I also ordered some wings and they came out like standard wild wings so not everything was bad and fortunately the bottomless appetizer option is not very expensive. Called on Friday to ask if they were taking reservations for the Super Bowl, was told it was first come, first serve. Perfect. We arrived at 1pm to beat the rush, secure a table, and have drinks and apps before the game, then order dinner and dessert. We were a party of 2. The place was empty - maybe 3 tables and the bar half full. I ask if we could take a small booth since they had 4/5 open. I was told no because they were saving them for larger parties. They took us to a 4 person table with chairs and an uneven table. The other half of my party arrived and asked the same question and she was then told it was reserved. Which is crazy because I was told not reservations were accepted it was first come, first serve. Our server was great, but they clearly were overstaffed and the hosts were two young girls who were rude. We were shocked to see ALL of the booths were given to parties of only 2 people. We were so uncomfortable at the table we decided to leave 10 minutes into kick off. On my way out I mentioned it was disappointing when we asked to sit at the booths were told 2 seperate lies and then for them to be given away to parties of 2 that came right at 3:30. She then proceeded to say "well we work on a rotation" very loudly in my face. I pulled into the parking lot at 1:45 and came inside. We waited in the front for someone to come over and talk to us, but the bartenders just stared at us and never said a word. Nobody greeted us or acknowledged us, so after standing there for a while we finally realized no one was going to help us and we seated ourselves. It took about five minutes before anyone came over, and we had to ask for menus. After that, we waited another fifteen to twenty minutes before the server returned to take our order. Because of that wait, we missed the lunch special, which meant I was suddenly paying almost double for the same food. I was looking at paying twelve dollars for six wings by themselves when the lunch special was twelve dollars for wings, fries, and a drink, plus another four or five dollars for a beverage. It was ridiculous. On top of that, the server barely paid attention to us. I was trying to order my kids' meals and she did not even ask about drinks until she was walking away. She seemed checked out the entire time and it felt unprofessional from start to finish. She only switched it to the lunch deal after she overheard me talking out loud about writing a review, and even then it was a quick "we were able to get the lunch deal for you, hope fries are okay" like it was nothing. At that point, I honestly did not even care about the fries. The whole situation should not have happened in the first place. The music was incredibly loud and overstimulating, which made the entire place uncomfortable to be in. I honestly do not want to eat inside here again. We got the mango habanero, jamming jalapeño, lemon pepper dry rub, garlic Parmesan and bbq chipotle dry rub. The best by a long run was the jamming jalapeño! It was nice and flavorful, small hints of sweetness, spicy but not too spicy and so good I didn't even need ranch! Next I would say the mango habenaro was really good! I don't think the food was overly salty or oily like I read some of the reviews said. Although our server was nice, we spent the early part of our experience being seated near the bar area and not having anyone help us initially.
