So disappointed. Y'all they had 4 people at the host stand. We show up at 8PM and they say we need to seat ourselves at the bar or else we need to wait 15-20 minutes for a table in the dining area. We go look around the bar and there are probably 10 open tables but every one of the tables are dirty. My husband asks them to clean a table so we can sit down, and they do. We order $91 worth of food and drinks. and they don't bring any of the veggies we ordered. We asked for them 3 times and never got them. The last time I asked where are the veggies? The waitress says they are "complementary". She insinuated that we can't expect them because they are "complimentary." Seriously? We started to know servers by first name basis. We went maybe once a week since we moved here March 2020 until recently. I've never been to a restaurant for over an hour and a half and not even get our food. Our daughter got her kids meal promptly with a promise we'll see our meal shortly. 50 mins go by. At some point mid way through waiting we stopped getting service. Beers empty, waitresses avoiding our eye contact. I assume someone got our food. Another 30 mins go by we decided we don't have to eat and just need to leave. Grabbed our waitress's attention as she gave food to a full 6 person table that sat 20 mins after us. Asked for our check, she said "sorry again" and removed our meal from the check. That's it. That's all management did for us. Not the food we waited for or some type of comp. Just a sorry. My wife initially called in and spoke to Shelby. She was pleasant and had good customer service skills throughout this ordeal. However, she did make a mistake regarding the BOGO promotion on Tuesdays telling us it was allowed for carry out, although it is not, which she owned up to later on. She tried to explain it to one of the managers, Chris, who declined to honor the mistake, then when Shelby tried to step in to own up to her mistake, he exclaimed in front of the entire restaurant that, "This will come out of your check." He yelled this while storming away and not doing anything to rectify the situation. After sitting there for a while amazed that Chris went out of his way to completely embarrass Shelby in front of the entire restaurant, I spoke with another hostess to see if there was going to be any resolution. She then went to grab the other manager, Emily. Now Emily was a night and day difference compared to Chris. She came in the middle of an already sensitive situation (mind you my pregnant wife has now been waiting close to an hour for food at this point) and took control and resolved with courtesy. She immediately fixed the pricing issue, and we also let her know that Chris's behavior was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. I am appalled that anyone would ever treat their employees or customers the way Chris did. She told us it would be 20-minutes to seat us because they only had 2-servers. Tons of open tables to at least sit at and wait. I have no problem waiting but I don't want to stand? Just went ahead and left- I get not having enough servers but not seating people because of it? I totally recommend letting people know it'll be slower service but at least seat them. If the restaurant was slow and on a Monday night why was it such a problem to get decent service? I'm pretty easy to please. I don't require much except for good service as that's the purpose of us going out for dinner was to be waited on. I will not mention our waitresses name and will not bash her for her lack of service, rather the blame is completely on the manager on duty for several reasons to include the cleanliness of the restaurant, the monitoring of all servers and staff. I have left several reviews for other establishments and the same theme repeats, poor management. I only have one request, let my wife and I have a decent meal out. I have found the need now to write a book, all about service. Maybe start a company of my own which deals in teaching customer service as the reason why we eat out and spend our hard earned money.
