The food was great & the staff were nice, except for our waitress. We arrived around 6:20 and were seated quickly, we immediately placed our drink order and food order. At 6:45 2 other waitresses had asked if we had been helped yet because we still hadn't received our drinks (2 waters and a corona). This is a Wednesday night with LESS than 15 customers in the whole place, children and bar patrons included. It was SLOW. Around 6:50 I approached another waitress and asked for our drinks. She kindly brought them. It was almost 7:15 before our appetizer and meal came out, and our food didn't come as ordered. We asked for cheese on our fries and when it was brought to our table our waitress told us up front she was going on her "lunch break" to which I just gave up on trying to fix our order. We had to get up and find someone to ask for silverware. At this point my husband ordered another corona as well. As of 7:30 he still hadn't gotten his 2nd drink. Around 7:45 he approached the bar and just ordered one from there and got it himself. We finished up and ended up having to find someone to get us our check. The food was tasty, but our waitress and her service was subpar. Not sure where the disconnect was but most customers in the establishment looked well taken care of except for us. Had a pretty awful experience here, was greeted by an overly enthusiastic guy who said he would follow us with menus to a table of our choice which he didn't, it then took our server forever to come to our table and get our drink order. It took forever for our drinks to get to the table and as I went to order an app the waitress was walking away. This is how our service was the entire experience, then having to wait way too long for wings that came out cold and not having enough sauce to cover each wing fully. There were literally only two other tables occupied at the time we were there. There was no excuse for our server to not be attentive to our needs and no reason for our food to come out in such a poor quality. Also when asked what kind of milkshakes they had our server replied with "we don't order milkshake-milk anymore so you can't order one." There's no such thing as milkshake milk, it's literally regular milk but okay. Paid over $100 for a meal that was awful and service that was worse. First of all I want to start off with stating that I know that times are hard and business are doing their best during COVID. That being said this is the worst service we have ever gotten at any restaurant and my family and I have been going to restaurants since restaurants have been open. First we order Mozzarella Sticks, Buffalo Mac and Cheese, and Traditional Buffalo Wings. First the Mozzarella Sticks come out. We sit and wait for awhile just figuring out if any of our other food is coming out. Then as we are waiting I find a hair in the ice in my drink. We get the manager and show it to him and he says "Would you like us to make you a new one", excuse me but yes that is common thing to get a new drink or new food when there is a hair found. While still waiting for my drink to be remade, the Mac and cheese finally arrives but not the Traditional Buffalo Wings. We ask the lady bringing us our food why the rest of the food didn't come and she said "we bring food out as it is made so it doesn't get cold". That is a TERRIBLE policy, I am sorry but who comes as a family to a restaurant, orders food, just to have your food delivered one person at a time. After waiting for a couple more minutes, without the brand new drink made after having found a hair in it, the wings arrive. Our waitress, Nicole, says "I'm sorry I should have informed you that there is a new policy in place where we serve it hot and ready as it comes" so we relay to her that we think it is a terrible policy and explained why. We also explain that there was a hair found in my drink. She then says "well what do you want from me?!" And we state that we want a new drink for the one that a hair was found and then we would like another round. She storms off. All in all we finally get my drink a couple minutes later and our waitress refuses to serve us so we ended up with a waiter instead. Not one manager stopped to talk to us and the remainder of the staff heard through the grape vine how terrible we were so everyone continued to glare at us until we left. Update: The waiter that took over, Ryan, was very nice and tried his best to explain the policy and what was happening in the kitchen. We had a party of 10 ready to order and *one* person in our party respectfully asked the manager if it was ok to bring in her burger from another establishment because she has celiac disease and BWW doesn't offer anything safe/gluten-free for her to eat. Manager refused and would not budge. What was she supposed to do? Eat her burger in the parking lot while the rest of the group ate inside? Throw it away and sit at our table hungry? Common sense should have prevailed here but the manager decided "policy" was most important, so our entire group decided to leave without ordering. When we told him we were going somewhere else to eat he shrugged his shoulders and walked off saying, "All right" as if he couldn't care less. Who trained this guy? I got my water and then the waitress took my order for the appetizer. Literally 30 minutes go by and then I get the food. Another 20 go by and I have to ask her if I can order my entree. Never got my drink refilled, never got asked if I needed anything else. My waitress kept looking at me, and then walking away. This is the worst experience I've had at a Buffalo Wild Wings, if I could give zero stars I would. I found a spider crawling on my wings and had to kill it on my plate. The manager did not offer to take it off the bill or give any discount at all. He did not even come to the table to apologize. Our server had to tell us he said he would get them remade but that was his only option for us. We both completely lost our appetite and did not even get half way through our food. Still had to pay the $70 bill for uneaten, spider crawled on food. Very unprofessional of the manager to not even apologize, and EXTREMELY unaccommodating to not offer to comp something on our bill. I am disappointed in this location and the low-quality treatment of the customers. I have gone in twice now , been seated and waited 15-20 minutes both visits without any server greeting is or say they would be with us soon . We were completely ignored both times. I always heard really amazing things about "B-Dubs" but I do not get it. Yeah, the food is pretty good, so I'll give this place 3 stars, but the service is pretty terrible. I have been to this Buffalo Wild Wings 5 times now, and each time it's the same quality of service. Can I just say, it is a safe assumption that your customers will need napkins if they are ordering saucy wings... Last time I was there, there was a hair in the fried cheese appetizer we ordered.....pretty gross. I am just pretty unimpressed. I've looked forward to visiting this Buffalo Wild Wings locations since I found out it was opening in Gilroy, as my friends can attest-I'm a big fan of all things chicken wings. You can only imagine my disappointment when it all goes south after a fun-filled 2-hour visit... Leaving there, I wish things would have been handled very different when interacting with management. It turned a small inquiry into an embarrassing moment for myself, my family and the restaurant's staff. The manager, Julianna, completely ruined my experience. I hope she can see her mistake and fix it for her staff's sake! A bit of the back story: Buffalo Wild Wings sent a promotional coupon to all Gilroy residents that read "FREE SNACK SIZE (boneless or traditional wings at Gilroy location only)". When we found it in our stack of mail my family and I thought it'd be great to finally check out the new spot in town. We arrived today, Thursday, about 230pm and the hostesses were great; They offered my son a game console while we waited for a booth to become available, as our 2 year-old had fallen asleep on the drive and we needed the space to lay her down. The ladies were incredibly accommodating. We were seated, welcomed by our waitress Bailie(the spelling may be different), we inform her of our coupon, she took our drink order and went on her way. Shortly after, Valentin came by and offered samples of the different wing sauces. Once he walked off to bring said sauces, my husband and I looked at each other-We were both very impressed by this new location's layout, friendly staff and prompt service. I even joined the Blazin Rewards site while waiting! Once it was time to place our orders I requested to have our youngest's' food boxed to-go, since she'd most likely sleep through the meal. 45 minutes later, if not longer, we were informed our entire order was accidentally boxed due to the initial request for the one kid meal...Honest mistake, no big deal. Our food finally made it to the table, everything looked good and was very tasty. We're checked on by our waitress a couple times and after a fun, almost 2-hour long lunch, we request our check. This is when it gets interesting-Our bill comes, we didn't question it-My husband had placed his credit card in the bifold and I had written my phone number on the receipt like the blazin rewards said to do and we waited for our waitress to ring us up...When she does comes by, with only half of the coupon sheet I had given her, she informs us that she could no longer honor our coupon because it would be "combining promos and it's not allowed by the computer"-We were having such a good time we had forgotten all about the coupon-She explains that Thursdays is .70/wing special. I asked if her manager was able to take care of it, if not, whatever. She said she'd check. Shortly after, her manager, whom I've mentioned above, comes to our table to confront us about the coupon. Quite frankly, the coupon didn't make a difference, but what followed and how it was handled is what really struck a nerve with me. She mentions that she cannot honor this coupon because she couldn't override the system. At this point, I was annoyed and couldn't believe she was creating a scene in her own restaurant, in front of my kids, so I asked if she could simply void the item or we could just move on. She responded in the most demeaning manner, "if I do that, I'll have to have a talk with your waitress". I wasn't exactly sure what she meant by that, but it seemed as though she was hoping to intimidate me to not press-on due to possible actions against our waitress. After that moment, she continues with, "the coupon is also only good for the traditional style and you ordered boneless", she motions to our waitress as she nods in agreements, oddly. I was beside myself. Before I could get another word in, she storms off. WHAT?!! I look to our waitress who'd been standing next to her manager the entire time this is happening, looking as shocked as I'm sure I did. I could not believe what had just happened, but I asked her for clarification to make sure I didn't miss anything. My husband motions to the coupon and almost amused points to the large print that reads "(boneless or traditional wings at Gilroy location only)". I couldn't help but laugh at the manager's behavior over something so trivial...Shortly after my husband's response, our waitress looks at me and very apologetically says "I'm sorry she told me to say that". I worked retail for longer than I care to admit, I get it, the customer is NOT always right, but to treat a customer and/or your staff like shit is never ok...I could not believe how those last five minutes at the restaurant turned everything up-side-down for us. P.S. The half of the coupon that went missing is the side with my family's address on it, not sure why that was removed. Very curious to find out!! read more

I was really excited when I found out a Buffalo Wild Wings was opening in Gilroy, but was extremely disappointed after my first (and probably last) visit. Here's the play-by-play: My wife and I recently ate here this past weekend and the place was packed! But, we didn't have to wait and we were seated immediately in the bar area. So far...so good. Upon sitting down, I had to wipe the table because there were still some crumbs on it. Also, the menus we were given were greasy...gross! Our server came by we ordered some water while we looked over the drink menu. The server immediately came back and dropped off our waters and by then we were ready to order our drinks (I had a beer and my wife had some sort of cocktail). My wife was facing the bar and noticed that the bartenders were just socializing and weren't making our drinks. She eventually saw our drinks at the bar, but it took our server close to 15 minutes before he picked them up from the bar to drop them off at our table. We ordered the appetizer sampler and then ordered our entrees. We waited another 15 minutes for our entrees came out. I told our server that we never received our appetizer and he asked, "oh...you didn't get it?" He hurried away and came back with our appetizer, which it appears was sitting under a heat lamp. This was absolutely ridiculous! After our server dropped off our food, my wife asked for another drink. Our server came back quickly and dropped off another glass of water for her. Honestly, if the server just observed what was on the table, he would've noticed that my wife's cocktail was empty, but her first water glass was still full. So now my wife has two full glasses of water and an empty cocktail glass. The entire experience was frustrating! The atmosphere was cool...there were TVs showing sports everywhere! As for the food, the wings are great! But the wings alone will not entice me to come back. The service was absolutely awful! Our server was nice, but he just didn't know what he was doing. Recently moved here and have gone to this location a handful of times. I have never had good service, but the food is usually decent. Went last night to celebrate a friends birthday and the service was terrible. The waitress/bartender was snarky when we'd ask questions and not friendly at all. I can typically deal with terrible service if the food is decent, but the food was absolutely terrible. My wrap was filled with cheese and no sauce inside. My fries were cold as if they'd been sitting there for hours. It took about 1 1/2 just to get our food and none of it was complicated. I try over and over again to give this place a chance, but i am more and more disappointed each time. Still am amazed how this establishment is still open and has service. read more

I love eating BWW but they really need to work on their customer service and getting customer order correct. This is the second time I would say within a month I had order hand-breaded tenders with mango habanero sauce and they forgot my sauce like is it really that hard to put sauce on the tenders? The pick up time for my order was post to be 5:20pm the website said my order was ready for pick up. So I go to the restaurant and I walk towards the pick up section not only was their no one standing there everyone who work there that saw me stand at the pick up section gave me no kind of care everyone just ignore me. Than I walked back to the front where you would get sitter had to wait like 10 minutes before I got help told the same to go to the pick up section that when I finally saw my order come out. This is the final straw if BWW can't get my order right the next time or get better customer service than I'm going somewhere else. read more

Please improve your staff, training and customer service!! My bf and I have been here plenty of times with and without friends since it opened. We only had one really good service out of like 10 times. Our servers on different occasions would forget our table or even their whole section. Tables around us were getting upset and orders were getting messed up pretty often. This would happen consistently and today was another sign. As soon as we got through the doors, a lot of people were already waiting to be seated and there was no host for a good 5mins. Other workers would pass by and not even acknowledge any of us waiting. We waited for a bit more and still no host. We left as soon as we saw the workers pass by and just ignore us. I'm sure it would be no different once we get seated. Please please improve your staff. This place has good food and a good environment. Bad staff and bad customer service would just bring this place down. 1 star for the food and 1 star for the awesome server that we had one time(sorry I forgot her name. That was my experience-the waitress approached our table AFTER AN ETERNITY and asked if she could start us with drinks from the bar. Turned out we all wanted water with lemon. Cue huge eye roll. We were served water, and about a week later, she magically reappeared to take our order. The whole time we see a highly overstaffed restaurant of employees doing, oddly, nothing. Just 'there'. Let me tell you the service is terrible, I wish it wasn't because the food is good. My friend had told me the service was bad but it was my first time trying buffalo. We were seated by the host and said our server would be right with us. The food came out fairly quick considering how busy it was. I tried the boneless wings since Thursdays they offer the special. I really enjoy my buffalo wings and honey bbq wings, much better I feel then Wingstop. Not as rich and doesn't leave my stomach feel ugggh afterwards. My wife got the classic wings and she loved them as well. We'll definitely be coming back and so glad to have a B Dubs in Gilroy now. Gilroy needs more restaurants. My girlfriend and I were in Gilroy for our company business and we thought we'd stop by BWW because it's one of our favorites in our hometown. As soon as we walk in, there was no greeting and a group of workers chatting along, hardly even acknowledging their customers. We waited a while to be seated and we waited while longer for our order to be taken. Our food came out quickly but the wings were cold, the fries were cold, and the cheese we got for our soft pretzels was old (the pretzel was hot tho). The service we got after we got seated wasn't too awful compared to the other reviews I read. We will not be coming back and I'd recommend not spending your money at this specific location. read more
