Terrible service! We were there yesterday evening, a family of 4. Despite being a Saturday night there were maybe 8-10 tables in the whole place. There were several waitresses with seemingly nothing to do. Yet the service was slooooooow! We had to wait to order our food (while our waitress stood near the kitchen entrance chatting). Surprisingly, our meals took a while to come out. Also, we ordered 2 sides to accompany our wings. The sides didn't arrive with our meals, and our server seemed to have forgotten we even ordered them. They arrived 10+ minutes later when our wings were nearly gone, her excuse was they wanted to make them fresh. Whaaaat? The place was dead, deep frying rings and fries doesn't take that long. I know food there doesn't always come out at once but clearly they were forgotten. Then after sitting for several minutes after finishing our meals/drinks I had to flag down our waitress to get the check (plates/glasses had not been cleared). I have no problem waiting for service when a restaurant is busy, but this place was not even remotely so. The waitress was friendly enough. I'm not sure if this is a management issue? Between the group of chatting waitresses and the slow kitchen, I won't be back to the Lombard location. The food was standard BWW fare, good but not spectacular. read more

Went in and ordered a medium boneless hot bbq to go. Got the box and it was kinda smashed already, by the yime i got home sauce was leaking out into the bag. Went to eat one and it tasted kinda funny. Inspected closer and they were regular hot wings.. Okay thinking they just gave me the wrong order. Looked at the sticker on the front and what do i see? One time, I ate outside at this place, so I can definitely say that they have outside seating. I've also eaten inside at this place, so think about it. Either indoor or outdoor, it's available. That's nice in the winter. It seems like they have a real chicken emphasis here. Not too sure what that's all about, since there are pictures of bison everywhere. But they have a lot of different things with sauce on them, and a lot of different sauces. Things x Sauce = Saucy Things Think about it. The drinks here (soda pop) are big. It would probably take you at least 10 minutes to drink two of them. Then you'd have to wash that down with another one. Think about it. Please never go here. I went here to say goodbye to a great friend and mentor. I had a long island iced tea that was delicious but they put so much ice in it. I told my waitress who did nothing to fix it or offer if I got another one not to put so much ice, she just shrugged it off. Then I left my sheepskin ear muffs there ( what can I say, I'm a light weight) Called the next day and the hostess said it was there. I didn't go that day, (long day at work) but my Husband went the very next day and my ear muffs were no where to be found. It would have been different if the woman who answered the phone said no they aren't here but she had me describe the ear muffs, told me I could pick them up anytime only to find out someone from the staff stole them? I called and spoke to Manager Michelle as soon as my Husband informed me they did not have them. She proceeded to say that employees have been caught being dishonest before and she had to let them go. She further informed me that she was going to launch an investigation and give me a call back. Weeks almost a month later, no call. Very dishonest, poor customer service. Because of this location, I may never return to a BWW ever again. Fred the manager called back very smug. Said he looked at the cameras but wasn't even sure of the date, lie much? I have no reason to lie about some ear muffs. I am definitely never returning to a BWW. How you gone call back and say you looked at the camera but didn't find anything but you'll continue to look? Look where? If you already searched the restaurant and looked at the cameras. He then proceeded to say he looked at the one camera by the lost and found. I told him the lady who grabbed it was at the front, most likely a hostess and then he said oh we looked at all the cameras. LOL so you go from looking at one particular camera and when I mention it was at the hostess desk or wherever the phone is located and you say oh we looked there too. Very dishonest. Just went here for my little cousin's 13th birthday on Wednesday. It was her pick and she's big in to wings right now. It was a great night out! She loved it, isn't that all that matters?? I got a black bean burger with french fries, delicious! I haven't met a black bean burger I didn't like. We also had their chips and salsa as an appetizer. Definitely good, but they give you way too much salsa for way too few chips. Then again, it's only $3.99 so I shouldn't be expecting the world handed to me when we purchase it. Staff was very nice, very attentive. When I came in, I talked with the manager accidentally (just had flagged down the nearest person) and said it was my little cousin's 13th birthday and asked if they did anything. My girl & I love comin in on Tues for 40 cent wings. Caribbean Jerk, Spicy Garlic, Mild, Medium & honey Bbq are my faves! & omg those potato wedges are soooo good, especially with sour cream. The chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream is a little taste of heaven. I enjoy playing games in the booth while waiting. It's $1 for a few credits, or u can watch the other screens for trivia. I'm addicted to the fruit game at the table though. We usually play each game together so we get more for our buck :D Service is always good, over the last year I've been at least 10 times. My family and I went to this restaurant a few weeks ago and It was a fantastic experience. I love chicken wings and I love it even more because they offer so many flavors to choose from. Specifically, I chose sweet BBQ and their spiciest flavor Blazin. The sweet BBQ was sublime, it tasted sweet and would recommend it for beginners but the Blazin was no joke. I would not recommend it for beginners, but if you want to, be ready for consequences. Aside from that, the waiter was welcoming, she, which I forgot the name, responded to our needs with a smile. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all chicken lovers and to people who want to try it as well. read more

The food has always been so-so, but what I really disliked the last two times I've gone in here is the place is an absolute MESS! I come to this location very frequently and have never had a problem with my service until yesterday which enabled me to decide I'm probably never stepping foot in this establishment again. First off when we first sit down, we are put in a booth right by the door when there are several other ones open to choose from. The draft that was let in every time someone walked in breezed right over to us. Our waiter comes and I ask about the drink specials, she seemed to have absolutely 0 idea about anything I asked so she had to walk away and ask someone else about 4 times. Which drinks were on special, what size pitcher they came in, what was available on tap, etc. I make a selection from what she had advised me was available, she comes back and says for some reason that one isn't working but everything else is. I say okay, no problem and pick another. Would you guess it, she comes back again and says the one I picked (which she advised was on special) it's not $5 special it's actually $9. I say okay that's fine. When I get the check it said the pitcher was $16 not $9 to which I told her. She had to go check again with someone and said oops it's actually $16 is that okay? Like I had a choice? We had already drank it. I went in wanting a $5 pitcher but ended up spending more than triple that. On top of this, they feature on their menus that there is new boneless wings (less breading and more meat). So I figure, me and my girlfriend usually both order a small and it's usually the size of two small trays or to go boxes when we do order to go. Pictured with the review is what we received. For $12 you now get about 9/10 boneless wings which look significantly smaller than they once were prior. The "less breading, more meat" advertisement is quite false. It seems like they just use a lot less or a different breading so they are more thinly cased inside making it seem like you are getting more but obviously the presentation doesn't represent that at all. You get a snack size now for the price of a small which again is $12. For that you could buy an entire entree meal on their menu that also comes with a side. This new system is either very flawed or the kitchen is obviously not adjusted to the way it's supposed to be. Either way this specific establishment left a very bad taste in my mouth after this visit. Spending over $50 for a 20 piece nugget, a pitcher of beer and mozzarella sticks (which were the only thing we received I believe fairly) that were on $5 special. If you want a filling meal, this is not the place to go. You'd think you'd be receiving fine dining or at least plentiful portions for the prices they're dropping. I would have thought maybe the server would have owned up for her errors and fixed my check but I guess that was way too far fetched. read more

I've been to some pretty crappy B-dubs but this location is great! You know what b-dubs is about, so I won't get into too much detail. The wings are great, though they could use a little more sauce. If you've never had the potato wedges here, I highly recommend them because they are delish! They aren't the run of the mill wedges. They are seasoned with sour cream and chives, so they've got some flavor to them. No need to dip them in anything. My bf and I were being fatties on this particular day, so we got a second order after our first meal, this time with cheese. The service was really great. We came on a Sunday afternoon, mainly to watch football. There were a bunch of good games on and since we were only able to watch one game at home (stupid market restrictions), we figured b-dubs would be a good place to go. Boy was it ever! It was a beautiful day so we sat out on the patio and what do ya know? They have TVs outside! So not only did we get to enjoy the weather, but we got to eat some food and watch multiple games. A few staff members even came out to ask which game we wanted the sound for which was awesome (the Bears weren't playing, in case you were wondering why that was even asked). Our waitress was also great. She checked on us regularly and didn't make fun of us for getting two orders of food, even though we were a little embarrased by how much we were eating. I was wearing a New Glarus beer (only found in Wisconsin) and she got really excited and told me where I could buy that beer here in Chicago. Sweet tip! Second time to this location. The first time, I decided not to leave a review although I received two orders that were dry and seamed to have been reworked with to fit my order. I sent them back and requested a fresh batch for both orders. we waited 25-30mins to be seated, order, wait for our food only to have it go back and wait even longer for fresh food to be served. Today, there was a 20 min wait time to which we provided the hostess with our phone number TWICE. We waited in the car 30 mins and headed back inside only to be told they pinged our number twice by the manager. I asked to verify the number to which she said sorry no (our area code is 619 I'm almost sure she entered 630 by mistake). She said she could do nothing for us other than having us wait even longer than 20mins because there now were other people waiting to be seated. I stated we received no message hostess must've entered wrong number wrong although it was repeated to her she said sorry nothing I can do. I've worked in C/S as a manager, clearly she is doing something wrong when handling training and customer issues. read more

The best Buffalo wings you'll ever taste are the ones you make at home, but when you're just not up to the task Buffalo Wild Wings cooks a solid wing. There are a lot of bad wings in the restaurant universe -- *cough* Pizza Hut *cough* -- but B-Dubs wings are respectable. We stick to tradition and order the Classic sauce though sometimes we vary the heat. We always carry out as we find the restaurant too loud, plus it's so close to home anyway. This location has easy parking for order pick up and usually we're in and out in no time. There have been a few annoying exceptions, but not enough to keep us away. I can't recommend the boneless wings. Just not the same flavor as meat on the bone. Take a pass. read more

The food isn't the highest quality but it definitely curbs the craving when you want some chicken wings. This particular location is the biggest B Dubs that I have been in. The parking sucks because the lot is so small though. It's also a fun place to come to watch any sporting event on TV since they have a billion TV's throughout the restaurant. They have a lot of beers on tap as well. They have added some new sauces to the menu from the last time I was here. Our waiter was really nice, although he looked about 12 years old. A couple of people in our party did the Flamin Hot Wing Challenge. It was a lot of fun to watch grown men cry from the spicy sauce. Pretty basic. The food seems to have gone down hill. For a long time, we did BWW every Thursday night. Cheap boneless wings - couldn't beat the deal. It had been a while since we'd gone in and this most recent time, it was kind of disappointing. The boneless wings used to be a lot bigger - now, they are about the size of mediocre chicken nuggets and there wasn't nearly enough sauce on many of them. It seems like the price was less before than it is now - smaller boneless wings for more money? Meh. Service was acceptable, after the initial wait to be seated while the girl who was supposed to be seating us was busy chatting with someone else. This location is definitely improving. I gave it another shot last week for Boneless Thursday, and the place was encouragingly packed. Our server this time around, Evita, was awesomely friendly and the food was hot, so that fixes two big problems from my first visit. Evie was annoyed that our wings came out about two minutes after our appetizer and decided that we should be compensated with free ranch dressing - fine by me. I'll give them some more time to work out their issues and hopefully be able to upgrade them on my next visit. Maybe by then they will have adjusted the projection TVs so that the baseball scores are actually on the screen, not blurred on the wall above and below the screen. BWW is ok...been here way more times than I can count, but mostly back in MI. The wings are tasty and it's fun to come here in big groups...I pretty much always get boneless with asian zing sauce and cheesy potato wedges. The food is overpriced, but if you go on one of their wing discount days, it might be worth it. The service wasn't that great, but I've only been to this location once. We came during the late afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all, so I was expecting better service. Maybe the guy was new? Who knows. read more

I have been here twice. Once to eat in, another time to take out. The eat in experience was marred by the service. I love chicken wings, especially the mango habanero flavor that they have over here and combining it with some nice draft beer. We were disappointed with the delay in service (also compounded by a waitress forgetting to put in our order) - it took them more than 40 minutes to give us 12 chicken wings.. Unacceptable for a BWW. That said, food is good and we enjoyed it. Next time, we came in and placed a take out order, we were in and out in 15 minutes. Prompt and responsive and the good taste of the mango habanero! :) It is a favorite chain of mine and I will keep going, more for the takeout than dine in. read more

I'm a sucker for BWW so I gave it a fairly high rating. My experiences at this location vary. Sometimes it's great, sometimes not so much. The last time I came though, they sat us at a dirty table. The chairs had crumbs all over them. Next to the table on the floor were clumps of mud and grass. I assume it was from some kid playing football which is out of their control, but at least vacuum it up before seating someone at the table. I prefer getting my food to go. I've been at this place a bunch of times with friends and colleagues. Went there again last night. The burgers aren't bad. The wings are of course their big thing, and they've got a great variety for those. The beer selection is good too. I don't really recommend the boneless wings, since they tend to be too heavily breaded, but the regulars are good. Last night we had the fried pickles for an appetizer, and I love those. We also tried their new potato wedges, and loved them. Also had the dessert tacos. Fantastic, but here's the warning: the dessert is way bigger than the picture, so save room. On a Tuesday, one would expect Buffalo Wild Wings to be very busy. Not this Tuesday. They weren't busy, and it still took FOREVER to get the bartender to take my drink and food orders. And I hate to play the race card, but I was 1 of 5 people sitting at the bar, also the only African American, and Andrew (bartender) checked in with every person except me. It was like pulling teeth to get service. The food and drinks were very underwhelming today. The drinks were also very weak. For example, my frozen "twisted" margarita had very huge chunks of ice in it, which made it very difficult to drink. And when the food finally arrived, it was cold. I am very disappointed about the poor service and food quality. Whoever manages this restaurant should really reconsider. Have ordered out several times and I love Buffalo Wild Wings. I have had some very disappointing experiences more times than I wish to any longer ignore. Wether it's the wrong dressings as I order all ranch and I would blue cheese or I would oder heavy sauce and I would get hardly any sauce.
