I visited with a buddy tonight and we sat in the bar area. It was fairly busy but the restaurant was also pretty well staffed. They removed my favorite item from the menu, so I needed a few minutes to find something new. My buddy was hungry so he placed his order and I let my server know to just come back in 2 minutes, because I'll pick something pretty quickly. I found something within a minute, but our server never came back to our table. In fact, my friend's meal already made it out and I had to ask the food runner to put my order in. Other than that mishap, the server was very kind. She wasn't rude by any means, so she was probably just very busy or forgot. Why, then, am I leaving two stars? Because unbussed tables sat for long periods of time near us (very unappetizing) and the bathrooms were disgusting. Overflowing trash and empty soap dispensers. The food, like every B-Dubs, was good. I've eaten at Wings Stop and Fire Wings in Modesto and everywhere from New York to San Diego. This was the WORST: They screwed up my order, as half my wings were fried and plain. NOT what I asked for. The worst part was the "buffalo wings" I was given, I'd bet my life were just fried, dry, plain wings with buffalo sauce poured over them AFTER they were cooked. I figure it was some 17 yr old employee probably did it before and thought they'd get away with it again. The wings were not just overcooked but had that dry, stringy texture that only comes from food drying out under a heat lamp, where you have to spit out the hard parts constantly. GROSS. Also, the french fries were not just "bad" for BWW, but these would be bad for AM/PM. They were dry and hard too. I'm still not done. When I went in to pick up the order, I stood at the pickup counter for AT LEAST 3 minutes before I started looking around, when I saw two employees in a corner talking. One kept looking at me while talking....but seeing me didn't stop her from staying there and continuing her conversation. It was only when I started walking toward her for help did she acknowledge me and say, "Can I help you?" I was a district manager of a known retail sales store for a long time and DO NOT need many clues to know when a business is being terribly managed. I'm guessing that BWW has a lot of teenagers unsupervised, being generally lazy and taking XERO pride int their work. - I haven't written a negative YELP review in a at least a decade, but this BWW "restaurant" is VERY deserving. read more

Bj's wait was way too long so we decided to go in here but it wasn't the best decision either. Our waiters name is Paige I believe. First off she gets distracted easily and she skipped me after taking peoples orders! Then she kept talking to this group of people that came after us. She knew one of the people in that group, so she gave more attention to them than us. We ordered before that group and they got their food before us and they ordered way more food then we did! Paige forgot some information about our order so she came to us to clarify, and as soon as we got our food (45 min later) she complained that the other workers didn't "Put the food on the tray because they're talking to each other and goofing around. That's why our food came late." When clearly she was talking to people her self and most of our food was served to two other employees who was working so I had no clue what she was talking about. And we didn't get our sauces til later as well.. I love the food but every time I go into Buffalo Wild Wings there is never any good service.. Seriously? My family and I called before hand to see if there was enough space for 20 people, 30 min later we get there and they said that their plaza was closed for the night. We ask for separate table to not make it a big deal and they said they didn't want their workers to walk all around to attend us separately when ITS THEIR JOB. Great food, and service! This place used to be a place I avoided due to very slow, neglectful "service" orders were always wrong when we were finally helped etc. BUT, I'm happy to say things have changed for the better! Now, my family and I are regulars here! Very good food, drinks, and specials! The BOGO free boneless wing Tuesday's are our favorite days :) good drink specials too. The service is great, and quick. Servers/ wait staff are now very attentive. The restaurant is clean, restrooms too. Good music, and good fun. If you stayed away from this place before due to poor service, give them another shot. Ordered our drinks and an appetizer and our drinks didn't come out for 20+ minutes with COLD mozzarella sticks! I believe we got there around 8, we waited around 20 minutes for a table, which we were prepared for, it was a Saturday night. Our server was Courtny, she was super awesome, sweet and helpful. She made sure we got everything we needed and ordered in a timely manner and was awesome with our daughter! I can't believe I never wrote a review for this place. Their wings are good. Having the TVs all around allows you to never miss your game! I never had issues with the staff like the other reviewers had. I take out food 1/2 the time and the food is cooked correctly. The one time they shorted me by 1 wing, they made it up with 5 wings upon my return. They have their own variety of wing flavors like any place. It's equivalent taste to Wing Stop. Much better than KFC tho. Favorite sauces to me are the Asian Zing and Honey BBQ. If you taste the other flavors, note that the flavor tastes different Dipping the plain wing vs. having the wings Cooked with that flavor. Worst establishment in Modesto. So it all started on Monday when I went there with my daughter for lunch and had to wait two hours to be seated. The seating area was almost empty with only 3 tables being utilized. The hostess jada kept seated at least 3 groups of people before me that arrived after me and attempted to seat a 4th person but the lady said "arent you going to seat them, they were first?"
