The best part of the meal was the French fries and carrots/celery... the wings were not good at all and just had the sauces slopped on each of the wings. Incident Context: Attended the restaurant with a friend to watch the NBA Finals. Initially, the evening began without issue. After sitting down, I asked our server if I could order an alcoholic drink. She checked my ID, seemed satisfied, and handed it back to me. However, a few minutes later, a manager approached our table. She had black hair, was wearing glasses, and had a tattoo on her right forearm. She requested my ID, claiming she needed to run it through the "scanner." This turned out to be entirely untrue, she never scanned the card. Instead, she handed it back and aggressively stated, "That shit is fake as fuck, get the fuck out and get a better one next time." Stunned by her hostility, I genuinely thought she was joking. When I asked if she was being serious, she refused to serve me alcohol and defiantly told me to call the police myself. I called the Portsmouth PD. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes for an officer to arrive on the scene. During this entire 90-minute wait, my friend and I were completely ignored. Our original server entirely abandoned our table, refusing to check on us even once, while actively waiting on and serving all the surrounding tables. When the police officer finally arrived, they verified that my identification was 100% authentic and legal. Despite this official verification, both the manager and our original server--who had been incredibly disrespectful and hostile when I previously tried to reason with them--refused to offer any form of apology or admit their mistake. Following the incident, we were assigned a new server. She advised us that if we ever chose to return to this location, we should explicitly "avoid" that specific manager because she "has had behavioral problems in the past." Behavioral and disciplinary issues at this level from a management figure is completely unacceptable and needs to be corrected. This entire degrading situation was entirely avoidable. While I have been a frequent and loyal customer of Buffalo Wild Wings, this experience was so severe that I don't know if I'd ever return. read more

No one checked with us for (10) minutes to see if everything was OK which it wasn't. It seems the waitstaff has issues with their POS computer system. If you like to watch sports while eating this is the place for you - never seen so many screens in a restaurant will leave it up to you if that is a good thing or not... Seemed very short staffed - think there were only two servers for a large restaurant (but looking at other reviews that unfortunately might not be unusual). So even though it felt like our server was trying, it all took a while... (not great with kids and bedtime though - took us over 2 1/2 hours to eat there!). Food was adequate - I had the traditional wings with mango & Habanero which had a little sweetness and hot enough to make my eyes water. I'm not a Wings connoisseur so this might be what wings are supposed to be, but I would really like them to be at least a bit crispy. read more

Stuck my head in the back kitchen and found two staff, one cleaning, one BS-ing with them. Asked them for a manager. All the wanted to do was tell me I could not be in the kitchen and they were short staffed. We left. On the way out I let the bar tender know what was going on. She did not seem too concerned either. Every single time we have gotten take out it is always horrible. We rarely ever do because we anticipate what will happen, but sometimes we have faith on a late night when they're the only place open that it might come out good, But it never does. Please avoid this place at all costs. This Chain needs to go out of business. I will soon open a rival to this chain and they will be defeated. Regularly come here to eat in and order out. EVERY TIME we order out the food takes 10-15 minutes longer than the given time to be ready. REGARDLESS of whether the restaurant is busy or completely dead. You walk in to pick up your order and get stared at by employees standing around and avoiding you. The food is what it is not bad it is not fine dining but good enough to go with beer and sports. Music playing in the background is decent and relevant. The bartenders always seem very very friendly and busy busy taking care of all the customers at the bar and filling the drink orders for the great wait staff and cleaning/restocking glassware. The waitresses alway are busy with customers or cleaning. My only suggestion is that it's NBA and NHL playoff season and MLB season just started so there should be games on every channel on every TV. We shouldn't have to ask to put a playoff game on it should already be on. Have some foresight managers!! Not replays or sports talk shows that can't be heard. Also turn the closed captions on!
