We've been back twice since bartender Chris left, and the others that work in the bar are nowhere near as attentive as he was. Nice staff. Great lunch deals. Just be sure to review the electronic device you pay through that is on the table to ensure it's the correct deal. We ordered the "3 for me", which is a beverage, starter and main course. For lunch, we were not given the option to choose a starter. You're automatically given tortilla chips and salsa. The tortilla chips were very, very good. In our case, when one item was left off the order, it caused the system to not give the deal resulting in paying full price for the rest. It was fixed once he added the chips. The smash burger was good, but it wasn't really a "smash" burger. It was a regular burger and there wasn't much sauce. Couldn't taste it. The chicken sandwich was good, but there was minimal mayo. The restaurant is weathered and could use an update or a good scrubbing. read more

We did takeout and the food was terrible. The hamburger I ordered was supposed to medium well, it was far from that. It was more like rare. The fries were cold and grease logged. We had another amazing dinner! Blossom Petals are to die for! I got the Just Bacon Burger this time and wifey got the Cajun Shrimp Pasta it's the best shrimp pasta either of us have ever had our waitress was Desi and she was one of the best waitresses we've ever encountered Kudos to you! The Margarita of the month is The Merry Berry it's definitely one of the better Margaritas I've had in my life every time I've came here so far the crew has been great the food has been great and the experience was great if you have never tried Chili's ever this is the one to go to! read more

I want to start off by saying this was my first time ever going to Chili's. I know, I know. I'm a wee bit late in the game! I downloaded their app and chose to do the curbside to go option. I was able to do a "3 for 10" deal. I got a Diet Coke, a entree of chrispy chrispers, sides of loaded mashed potatoes and onion petals, and a appetizer of chili. The chili and onion petals were each a $1 upgrade. Ordering, paying, and that whole process was very easy. I made my way to the location, and in less than a minute a very nice employee came out to greet me. I told her my name, and she went in to grab my good. Great service, and the lady was super friendly. Very pleased. I'd give them 5 stars for service. Now onto the food, and my reasoning for the 3 stars. I will say there was a lot of food. I could only eat half for lunch and I was stuffed. However the food was just okay. The chicken and onion petals didn't have much flavor, except a old oil type of taste. The mashed potatoes were alright. The chili was good and full of flavor. Overall, my first taste of Chili's was just average. I might try them again at a later time and try other items. I'm gonna rate them middle of the road, I'm neutral with my opinion. read more

This was our second time here in 3 weeks. Before that we haven't been here in a few years. There are just so many places to eat at, it isn't often we frequent the same place. We had the southwest Cesar salad with shrimp and the salmon with broccoli, hold the rice. Both were very, very delicious. Also the $5 cherry blossom margarita. On Tuesday Oct 12 I tried to place a phone order ( for one person). While I waited for a CHILIS Team Member to pick up, I listened to the on hold message say that we can place both Online and phone orders. When the Chili's team member picked up I told her I would like to place an order. She then told me that they are not taking online or takeout orders due to staffing issues. BUT I could Dine In ( I am solo so I don't eat in restaurants alone). I asked her what is the difference if I order via phone or dine in? Won't you still have a staff issues?? She said that's what she was told to say She said I could come in, sit at the bar and place an order Really??? What a ridiculous thing to say! I can't place a take out order but I can dine in?? I have been a frequent customer at The Dover NH restaurant for over 20 years and I am extremely disappointed. I am tired of excuses, and this lame ass one! Wow...this place was just not good. As a disclaimer; I am a huge fan of Chili's. I love their food, and have never had a bad meal at any of the restaurants....until tonight. With that being said, after we were seated, and told our waitress' name, we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us...my wife had mentioned walking out and going to Uno's, when they came right over. Laden with excuses, and after claiming it was the hostess' fault and not theirs, we finally were able to order our drinks and food. I ordered the Ribeye, medium, with potatoes and broccoli. My wife ordered the 6 oz sirloin also medium and with potatoes and broccoli. When we received our food, our server had asked us to cut into our steaks, and walked away before we could even take our silver-wear out of the paper napkin... My Ribeye came with garlic butter on top. It was tender, and quite melt-in-your-mouth. The wife's steak was a nice red/pink, and just perfect. That, friends, was the only upside to our meal. My steak was closer to medium-well than medium, being more grey than pink. The garlic butter added some flavor to the meat, but it was mostly salt, as was almost everything else. My wife enjoyed the loaded potatoes; cheese, chives and bacon included. I thought they were alright. Both of our broccoli's were covered in salt, with a little bit of pepper mixed in. The wife couldn't really eat her's, and I just kinda cruised through them, without a thought until later in the meal. I did enjoy my Pomegranate Margarita, as a starter to my meal. They used Patron in it, which was quite smooth and nice. When the check came, our waitress couldn't have even comped my wife's soda for the shitty service. We walked out bloated with salt, and not quite satisfied. Next time we're in Dover, we'll be going to our old standby; Friendly's. read more

Hello everyone. I make my return to yelp to applaud the Dover chilis on their excellent food, service and drinks. It has been a while since I've been to a chilis, and honestly I can safely say that my past experiences have been mediocre at best. This experience at 6pm on December 17th, 2023 was spectacular and completely washed away my negative connotations of chilis. Our server Greg(?) was extraordinary and very professional. He was great. 10/10 for Greg (?) alone. This may not be his name but he was fantastic nonetheless. Our food came out very quickly and was absolutely delicious. I got a triple dipped with the big mouth bites, mozz sticks and crispy chicken crispers. Absolutely divine. When we finished our meal Greg(?) was very helpful with splitting our checks and even asked if we wanted lids for our sauces! I have never in my long 21 years been asked if we wanted lids to take home sauce. Overall this was a superb experience and we WILL be back! Love you chilis read more

Simply the most amazing American chain restaurant. Good price, best quality in all of America. Today I traveled with my family of 7 to this blessed place and my expectations were put even higher than they were before. My children got the milk, which was the most amazing milk they had ever had. They said it tasted like it cane from the heavens. Me and my wife got coke. You may think coke is the same everywhere, but oh no not here. The coke was much sweeter and had an amazing crisp taste. Then came the food. I got the chili's chili burger and it was the most savory, delicious, amazing and awesome burger ever. 10/10 would come again read more

I am not sure why everyone is giving this Chili's such awful reviews... This is our family's standby choice for a quick dinner. We absolutely love the $35 meal deal (which includes an app, two entrees, two margaritas and a dessert) and have been hard-pressed to find such value at any other local restaurants, chains or otherwise. The wait staff here is extremely competent and friendly and they are always welcoming to us and our daughter. The food is normally quite good and served hot. We have only had them mess up our order once and it was quickly remedied. We enjoy going here and visit at least once a month! read more
