Why do I keep coming to this place is a mystery to me and my taste buds. Maybe it is my partner in food crimes, my son, who drags me there every time. Maybe my craving for mediocrity at its best. Maybe it us my wallet situation at the time. Another chain sports bar location and like all other locations it is run by the cheapest person they can find usually supported by a bunch of high schoolers and college freshmen in the hosting and serving. The service is not very bad but the servers are overworked and disappear into the kitchen for long minutes while customers are yearning fir the attention that they will be billed for. The menu includes burgers and salads but is dominated by chicken wings. Several sauces are available and surely to satisfy almost everyone. There is no doubt that their signature sauce (buffalo) is the best and only comparable to the original back at Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. read more

You can select sauces based on the size of your order, plenty of choices, but the Hot and Hot BBQ are my favorites with the spicy garlic as a classic. Tried some others, but weren't too impressed. The rest is pretty much straight up bar food (with wing sauce). Ambiance: It's a sports bar with plenty of TVs and family friendly. Go here and don't sweat it. If you're bored, grab a game board (how about that for a lyrical gangster). If you can't find something to watch while you're waiting or eating, I'll be surprised. Service: Our waitress was on point, orders and food were taken care of in a timely fashion. No complaints and the soda refills kept on coming. Overall: If you want some wings and have a large group, this is the place to go. I've lived in PL/Savage area for 7 years and this place has really gone downhill during that time. First, some experts in management decided it was a good idea to take away tablets in a community with lots of children. Today's visit was the final straw for me - their cable programming couldn't show the NFL game I was seeking and it took at least 45 minutes for mediocre food. We went to BWW a few nights ago at the request of my daughter. I was reluctant, but decided to give in and we went. If you have a firearms carry permit, BWW does NOT want your money. A prominent sign on the door lets you know this. I'm sure the bad guys will see this, turn around, and go elsewhere. The first thing you'll notice is the noise. This place is LOUD. It wasn't even full and we could not carry on a conversation without yelling. They also have TVs throughout the place to watch your favorite game. I guess if you go out with someone you don't really like this is the perfect place because you won't be able to talk due to the noise and there are plenty of TVs to take your attention away from the others in your party. We go there during happy hours, which meant $3 appetizers. I ordered the fried mushrooms and the mozzarella sticks. The mushrooms were ok, as were the cheese sticks. I was surprised at how little you actually get. I don't know if they scale back the quantity for the $3 special or not, but the amount you get is barely worth $3, and certainly not worth full price. The waitress took our order after a LONG wait. After gathering the menus, she noticed one had a bit of sauce spilled on it. Rather than taking it back to clean it off, she gingerly flicked it off the menu, onto the floor...classy!! When the food arrived, she stood at one corner of our table and handed the dishes around, rather than setting them on the table. Most in our party ordered chicken wings, both with and without bones. Of the sauces I tasted, they all tasted like the main component was high fructose corn syrup. blech!! The boneless wings were mostly batter, with a bit o' meat in the middle. I ordered the jerk chicken sandwich and it was rubbery and stringy. The fries were cold and tasteless. I'll not be coming back. read more

BWW has been a mainstay of our Sunday Vikings football game day routine for several years now. We order through the app and pick up to enjoy at home. 11/18/2018 however had 3 errors in our order: - Did not include the dipping sauce for the fried pickles. I asked at pickup and she said it was with the other dips. Wrong! - The medium boneless wings were traditional. Son was bummed out. - The large traditional (and incorrect medium traditional) had barely any dry seasoning on it. Very bland tasting wings! Overall this was a disappointing experience and we will have to literally open every box and inspect the food and dips provided very closely if we ever decide to order again for take out. I don't know if it is a bad day or something but this place was slow loud and is taking around 1 hour to get are food. we will be back after another football game to see again but hopping it gets better! update we got are food after an hour and 20 min. The macaroni was cold and hard. the salad was fine but it is a salad. the wings were badly sauced and hard af. the staff was not friendly and did not give us updates. the manager comped part of the meal but brushed it off because of COVID and computers.the cleanliness of the place was gross. My husband and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings on 8/07/19 in Savage location. We asked to be seated outside. We were sitting there for almost ten minutes, and nobody came over to take our orders. We went to the customer service counter and told the manager about it, and he said sorry and will send someone out there to serve us. At that point, we were not interested (and pissed) to give them our business and left. We went to Lakeville location instead and server there was very fast and attentive. This happened to us last summer too, and we thought that things might have changed/improved by now, so we tried again; still bad service! Definitely will not go to this location ever again. Very disappointed with our visit for take out. Placed order two hours before pick up scheduled pick up time. Once I got there at my scheduled pick up time I was asked to wait five more minutes. Ok no problem, thirty-five minutes later I finally get my order. When asked if there was a problem with my order, they proceeded to open the Warner with my order sitting in there. My brother and I were in on Tuesday and had one of the best and worst service. First off I'd like to give praise to the manager Brooke and our server Zach! They were both so friendly, Zach was attentive and really made our experience great! We usually like to sit in the bar area but the server Yvette had a couple of tables reserved ( which I thought Buffalo Wild Wings didn't do reservations) so she was saving the tables for guest she wanted to sit in her section. We originally sat in her section by the manager and Yvette came over and told me exactly " I have these tables reserved for my guest so you need to find a new table" extremely rude and nasty. I told her the manager sat me and since all of her tables were reserved and bar was full we were forced to sit in the dining. We ordered a couple apps and a few beers and when tables opened ask to move to the bar and close our tab with Zach. There are families who would rather sit in the dinning and since we were drinking we'd rather not be surrounded by kids. Yvette told the host that if we closed our tab with Zach, and sat at her bar she would be losing money since we already ate. When we refused to accept that answer she told her to tell us we can't switch tables because of covid. This was the best dining experience I have had in my entire life. I found the chicken wings most superb with a side of ranch dressing. The pop machine was something from the future brought back to stimulate my mind and body in ways I didn't know possible. The bathroom smelled as if the Olympic mythological God Poseidon himself had blessed the urinal cake with ocean breeze scents. When I came back the foreign aroma of frïêd pįcklēs (which I cannot pronounce) filled my nose. I cannot describe the feeling of absolute ecstasy and full body stimulate I felt when they foreign dish made contact with my taste receptors. All I can say is is if you come to this place expect the service of a royal blood no matter what skin pigment or weight. The most exceptional dining experience indeed! read more

Good place to grab some wings and a beer, but if your plan is to intently watch your favorite sport, do it somewhere else. Several small TVs make it hard to see a game that is not on the big screen. Screaming kids running around can also make this difficult. This location always gets busy at the most random times, too. You can never predict how busy it'll be based on what sports are on that night. Large groups often do not give notice ahead of time, making it hard to get a table a lot. For example, a big group of 30ish people from a funeral did not give any warning they were coming, and there was quite the wait at the door. Thank goodness I ordered takeout that night. The funny part was that some of our party ordered online to bring home food for other people and got their order in less than 20 minutes while some of our party dining-inwaited 2 hours to get their food. Makes sense right? Also, the manager Ben sucked. He threw his server under the bus and didn't care at all. Plenty of other food choices in the area. I would recommend those. read more

Just had the worst dining experience ever at Buffalo Wild Wings in Savage last night. Now I don't like singling out a local business, but in this case I have to speak out. I should start by pointing out that I used to be part owner of the Buffalo Wild Wings (then BW-3) in Mankato, and as a former franchisee (our partnership was instrumental in bringing BW-3 to Minnesota) I feel more connected to this operation than most. First of all was the manager. After making reservations by phone an hour ahead of time (we were told we had to) we arrived and the manager, who was the lowest energy person in the building, proceeded to seat groups only by the order we entered the building, with 2 groups ahead of us with NO reservations needing to be seated before we could be helped. This even after we, and another group ahead of us told him we had reservations. It didn't matter as the manager SLOWLY walked around (avoiding us) and wiped down tables with sanitizer. Anyway, after finally getting seated we were told by our waitress that they have a "new system for bring food out of the kitchen". Our table would not be served all at once (3 of us) but rather meals would come out as they are ready so "they are fresh". Sounds great, BUT my wife and daughters meals, a salad and a wrap, came out in 10 minutes. MY order, 12 wings (this is a wing place right?) took ANOTHER 40 MINUTES! Are you frikken kidding me? The waitress kept apologizing but even after Steph and Arie were done eating I had to wait another 20 minutes just to get my food! (Wings take 5 minutes in the deep fryer BTW) Keep in mind - they are only operating at 50% capacity too! I finally asked to speak to the manager, and after explaining that I understood them wanting to serve fresh meals, but EVERY OTHER RESTAURANT seems to be able to accomplish serving everyone together, and that it takes kitchen management to accomplish that (don't make the salad 45 minutes ahead of time). I also told him about my background with the franchise, to which he just shrugged his shoulders and said "that's the way we're doing things now". He did offer to comp my meal only because I asked, but then walked away with no further discussion wanted by him. I would've fired him on the spot if that was my restaurant. They've had 3 months off to figure out how to get customers back in their building, and THIS is the result? We will NOT be back there anything soon. read more

We come back to this B-dubs again and again. They are very kid friendly, nice to you even if your kid spills, good regular staff, and their kids night is better than at the other BW3s. They give the kids ice cream and have drawings for prizes. We were sad when we visited the Chanhassen B-dubs recently and they didn't offer anything like that. The Savage location is much more friendly all-around. read more

I see a lot of complains in the other reviews, but I went here for the first time the other day, waiting for my phone to get fixed at the Sprint Store. I had such a great experience. The waiters were nice, told me about the menu, we were seated and had gotten our drinks right away. I had 45 minutes until my phone would be done, and I got my food in 20 minutes or so after being seated. The atmosphere and just everything in general is really nice. The first impression I got of this restaurant was amazing and is now my favorite restaurant of all time. Taking my boyfriend here tomorrow night for our date! read more

The food is good. The service is terrible. At first the forgot about us. The waitress walked by several times and never stopped. We ordered our appetizer and she said she would be right back to take our order...yup forgot us again. Finally she stopped back took our order. Then she had to come back and tell us on of the items wasn't available..so we reordered one item. One of our plates(3 of us) came almost right of way than we had to wait 10 minutes before our other two plates came.we had 3 different servers ask us if everything was good..we told them we were waiting on our other plates..they just said ...oh no...and walked away and did nothing to check on them. There were lots of workers standing around...not really doing anything. No one bothered to makes sure our food was coming. Not fun one person eating and the others watching. read more

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who won't be coming back to this bww. I usually order over the phone and they ALWAYS mess my order up. The managers never seem to do anything about it. All they have offered me was getting my order done right which is the least they could do after making that long drive home only to find out my order wasn't made correctly. This place is terrible. If you eat at multiple bww locations, this is easily the worst of them all. Stale food, bad service and most of all bad management. It was the worse service I have received. We waited 15+ minutes for our drinks. I could see the bartender from my seat, she wasn't very busy. After 20 minutes we asked about our appetizer and the waiter was perplexed and had to ask what we ordered. He then disappeared for another 20 minutes and brought all our food at once and said the kitchen had messed it up. When we were almost done eating he finally asked if we needed anything. My family of 4 went there last week. The wings were good but that was about it. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, which was so bland. I've had better at Taco Bell! My daughter's kid's meal was so small, the smallest I've ever seen at any restaurant. A very small hamburger loaded with a bunch of greasy fries. the wait staff was ok, the lady that served us had a nose ring which was huge. I don't have a problem with people expressing themselves but when the waitress is talking about the food specials it's quite distracting looking at her nose. Probably would have given it 2 1/2 stars because our server was very good. Went with a friend to watch sports and surprised it wasn't very crowded. I ordered the jerk chicken sandwich and I guess didn't notice it comes with blue cheese on the top. I like bleu cheese but not on top of a chicken sandwich and the chicken itself looked and tasted like some kind of processed chicken...very unappetizing. My friend had some type of burger that looked like a big mess of meat and toppings although to be fair it looked like he enjoyed it. Went in at like 10 pm on a Saturday. Hostess sat us down quickly and that was the last time anyone came to our table. There were 4 workers and 1 manager standing behind the counter messing around on the computers and two or three waitresses walking around and cleaning. One waitresses walked by us 3 or 4 time and acted like we didn't exist. After about 20 minutes we left and went to olive garden. I can understand taking a while if the place was busy or short staffed but neither were the case. There were more people working than customers in the restaurant. Have been a fan of bw3s for over ten years. If eating in the service is ok. If getting take out, it couldn't be worse. Multiple times the online system promises a time when starting the order only to push the order time out by 20 minutes if you take more than 60 seconds submitting your order. When arriving we have been sent to the bar to pick up food only to be sent back to the front multiple times. We would show up five minutes after the promised pick up time only to discover they never submitted the order to the kitchen, again multiple times. Management is never on the floor but always holed up in the office. Young staff not trained properly at all. I can't believe i am saying this about this restaurant, but you couldn't pay me to go back. read more

My Husband loves BWW and have enjoyed many great experiences at other location, even this location once or twice. BUT this time when we arrived my husband, who is an obvious 50+, ordered his usual beer he was carded. No problem, right? Wrong! This time we were told they do not except Tribal IDs! Even though this is a federally issued ID, we were told they do not except it, even though it has been excepted many times before! He said it was the policy. My husband wasn't looking to cash a check or rent a car, he just wanted service, and the same respect shown to everyone else. This stinks of Racism! read more

Been to many different locations but the Savage location has got to be the worst. The food is always terrible and the service is worse. Last time I was there we waited for 45 minutes just to get an order of wings. Then we waited another 35 to get a dessert. Really?!!!? 35 minutes for some ice cream? The time before that we sat out on the patio and waited to be served for 30 minutes while the waitress helped everyone else around us. After 30 minutes and not even so much as a "I will be with you in a minute", we left. Never again at the Savage location. Too bad because I do usually like their food. I went to Buffalo Wild Wings specifically to take their blazin challenge and win an awesome shirt for my effort. Upon being seated at a comfortable booth I asked the server about what sizes shirts were available should my attempt at the challenge be successful. I wear XXL and wanted to make sure there was a shirt for me in my size. The server checked with the manager and I was told there were only smalls available. I was told that they would order XXL for me should I complete the challenge. I was successful and was told they would order my size. Over two weeks have gone by and I just got off the phone with the manager. He indicated that a shipment of shirts arrived but they only have large sizes. I'm not sure how good the wings were because I ate them so quickly and simply did not get to enjoy them. I feel duped...almost like I would have been better off by getting a shirt which didn't fit me. Our server Kaitlin was courteous and professional. The bill for the two of us came to $36.22. Have fun spending my money, BWW...too bad you don't deserve it. First and last visit. read more
