Garden Bloody Mary with a beer chaser
    Melissa M.

I absolutely love the Braised Beef Short Rib - the dish is like a warm blanket that makes you want a nap afterwards. I've had it a bunch of times now for takeout and it's always been delicious - due to medical issues it's hard to find meals that are always agreeable and make me feel good and this is one of them, especially after a long day. I had it for the first time dining in and the dish had a lot more sauce compared to the takeout version but I also got a really fatty piece that was half inedible. To be fair, my server was training but he told me that's just how it usually is which isn't accurate. (I'm never one to complain, I hate confrontation and I just didn't know what to say back to him in that situation besides idk if I can eat this with a blank stare thinking this has to be a joke). His trainer Megan (I think that was her name?) came over without me even asking and validated that yes, it indeed was too much fat to just eat around and she specifically went and got me a new plate which was delicious and had very little fat like usual. She went out of her way, genuinely above and beyond, to make me feel better about my meal and told me not to worry. She checked on me multiple times to see if I was doing alright afterwards which I really appreciated. If it wasn't for Megan I would've just paid my bill and more than likely never came back due to fear of that happening again and not knowing what to do about it. All servers here need a crash course from her and her leadership!!

Always a hit. A little on the $$ side but usually worth it. They need to add more desserts to their menu. They only had two items which is weird. The pasta dish pictured was super amazing and my sister loved it!! I've had the salads and they are great too. Super yummy fries.

This place was wonderful. The food was excellent, our waiter was great and the interior was very inviting and comfy. I dined with my mom and sister and we all loved the food and can't wait to go back. They had so many specials and everything sounded great. We got an app to share and then each got entrees. I would love to go back from drinks and more apps again soon. The dumplings we got were great and had wonderful flavor and cooked just perfect. I got brussel sprouts as my side and they were fantastic. The flavor was wonderful and they were cooked perfectly. The onion rings were huge and homemade and had the perfect batter on them. I can't wait to go back and try more of their options; they had so many wonderful choices.

    Steak and shrimp fajitas (4/5)

I got the steak and shrimp fajitas (4/5), which were a good value compared to other fajitas I've gotten! They had a generous serving of steak, shrimp, guacamole, and rice, all of which were good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity! The service was also good (4/5), and the restaurant is great for watching sports and catching up with friends (4/5).

If someone asked me which restaurant I couldn't live without, Mccoy's Copper Pint would be at the top of my list. They've got all-day, everyday 2-for-1 drinks, which is perfect for game days , recovering from a hangover, or if you want to catch a buzz before hitting up the movie theater. The food menu is amazing, with weekly and monthly specials that keep things interesting. I've tried a bunch of different dishes and have never been disappointed, especially their burgers. Seriously, these are some of the best burgers I've had, and their nachos aren't far behind. Highly recommend stopping by; great drinks, incredible food, and a vibe that keeps you coming back. You won't be disappointed.

My food was yummy. The colleague I was with received the incorrect food. The server was attentive. It was a very standard restaurant. Hard chairs etc. Good for a work lunch. Not like a date night place or anything.

We had a group from work coming in for dinner. We sat on the patio on an absolutely beautiful night. Our server was ON POINT with absolutely everything. Every part of our food order was perfect and correct. She had every single drink refilled before we could even ask, she was always watching but not intrusive. We ordered 4 appetizers, which she timed perfectly before our entrees, giving us more than enough time to chat and eat leisurely. If was obvious she timed it based on when other large tables who didn't order apps got their orders. She was right on the money with timing and service all night. Food was good, ambiance was good and service was excellent. I'm not a local (anymore) but would definitely be a regular if I lived in the area still.

Started out with some appetizers, got the cheesecurds and whiskey stickers. The whiskey stickers were phenomenal. I just wanted to order more and more! Cheesecurds were good, classic cheesecurds. For my main i also got an appetizer, the Jamaican jerk wings. They were good, had good flavor and the cheese sauce was a nice touch. Had the seasonal strawberry French 75 to drink and it was very good too. All in all good experience!

First time here and it's a win. Very crowded and noisy, but everyone having fun! Cade was our excellent server for 14 people and kids and he kept it all straight! Steered me to blackened walleye on a delicious risotto and mushroom bed. So good. Everyone enjoyed the quality food and atmosphere!

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and had a great experience! The bartender was super nice and helpful. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming; a variety of sports played on the numerous TVs. We ordered Bloody Mary's to drink. We split the Cajun dry rub wings and elote pizza. Loved the wings and blue cheese! The pizza had good flavor and a delicious buttery crust. Also, they often have 2 for 1 drinks :)

As a Shakopee resident and a march madness enjoyer, I was looking for the perfect place to catch some games this Friday evening and enjoy some tasty eats alongside my friends. That's why I decided to go to McCoy's Copper Pint. This place does great business and understandably so as you'll find out later in this review. We arrived at 4:45 and there was a 30 minute wait, we waited half an hour and were seated on time. Our waitress was fun, outgoing and gave very prompt service. There were enough TV's everywhere so all three of us could watch the games and not miss a second! To start off, I ordered us Chicken Buffalo Wontons off of their happy hour menu and the Hot Honey Shrimp off the regular appetizers menu. The Chicken Buffalo Wontons were delicious. A warm toasty crispy wonton shell filled with a creamy mix of buffalo sauce and chicken and a cream cheese-based dip that was full of rich, savory, umami flavor. The Hot Honey Shrimp was my favorite item I ordered. The breaded jumbo shrimp smothered in hot honey was to die for. The breading was hot and crunchy on the outside, the shrimp was juicy and cooked to perfection on the inside. The hot honey sauce was delicious and is what I would describe as "Minnesota hot", meaning it wasn't burning my mouth. When I ordered the Short Rib tacos, our waitress exclaimed how that was her favorite item, and I can see why. The short rib was delicious and the meat was cooked to melt in your mouth off of the first bite. The cilantro, cotija cheese and onions meshed well with the short rib. Not to mention you get a healthy side helping of lime rice and chips and salsa. The ambience was loud, but there was an aura of joy inside that offset the loudness as everyone seemed happy to be there, thanks to the great food and service. The inside is well lit and if you enjoy watching sports, you'd be hard pressed to find a seat in the restaurant where you'd have to crane your neck to watch a game. Overall, I am very pleased and will be returning to try more!

We came in a Sunday afternoon. This was our first time here. Inside is nice and they have a good amount of TV 's. Boneless Buffalo wings 4/5 - Good Buffalo flavor and chicken was juicy, not overcooked. A little more bleu cheese and a bit crisper breading would have made them even better. Chicken club sandwich 3/5 - The avocados added a nice creamy texture. Sandwich was good but a little difficult to eat. Open faced beef sandwich - 3/5 Got it over fries instead of mashed potatoes and with extra gravy. Gravy was good. Beef was tender.  Hawaiian cheese curd pizza 3/5 - Got it with the sauce in the side which was a good suggestion from the server as it was a little spicy. Pizza was good. Was a little dry. Prices were very reasonable.

Nothing had ever really wow'd me. Ask how I'm feeling now! We were out and about, and I was in the mood for Mexican, so I suggested Chili's. From the second we walked in, I noticed a difference. A manager greeted us right away, we were seated quickly, and our waitress was AH-MAZING! I have their app, and to my surprise there was a free chips and salsa promo. Not sure if that's always a thing, but it definitely didn't hurt. And let me tell you, the chips and salsa were part of the wow moment. Light, warm, incredibly crunchy, and so, so good. They were bottomless too but honestly the first batch was so huge we didn't even need more. I had the steak fajitas and my husband ordered the new crispy sandwich. The portions were massive, everything was fresh, and it was all served pretty quickly. The "sealed moment" for me was when the manager came back around, cleared our table and genuinely asked how everything was. I was jumping at the opportunity to tell them how great our experience was! I don't know what they're doing at this location, but the Shakopee Chili's has it going on! Keep it up!

The fried mozz was just as stretchy as the viral IG videos, but that was really it. The outside had a nice tint of a crisp, but otherwise pretty bland. The marinara did help somewhat, but when the mozz stick is that big, it's hard for the ratio of seasoning to be spot on. The chicken crispers had lots of straggly bits of batter on the outside, which were a nice textural crunch. The chicken itself was just okay, and the outer sauce tasted just as described, nothing special though. The chicken didn't feel too oily at first, but after finishing I felt like I was constantly clearing my throughout of residual oil. Service was standard, no complaints except the server did forget to put in our order the first time he took it, but no harm no foul, we got a our food but a bit later than we would have liked.

We saw the burger of the month in December was a tater-tot hotdish burger online and man did it look like a 10/10. We drove about 30 minutes and ordered two along with a past and red sauce kids meals. While we waited we ordered a flight to try several options: the peanut butter bear was amazing, the cider / seltzers were good (Sherbet was the best) but the sugar cookie was meh. Once our good arrived a was already bummed as it didn't look like the photo. The burgers weren't cooked to order and overall there wasn't a lot of flavor for a burger with so much going on. I felt like it needed more goop....that's the best part of a hotdish, the glue. The past with red sauce wasn't well received but kids are kids. It didn't look amazing, but I didn't except much. With the menu being as big as it is I wouldn't mind coming back and trying something else, but I'm not in a rush to return.

I imagine it would be really nice in the spring/summer as there is a horse track right outside of the restaurant which would provide a great view to a race. It definitely got a little loud just sitting inside They had a large variety of options to choose from on the menu. They also offered a great and surprisingly extensive Happy Hour Menu which we got there in time to take advantage of.  We got the burger and thought it was very tasty, we love a good caramelized onion. I thought it definitely needed some ketchup to balance out the heaviness of the onions and cheese with a little bright acidity. I also thought the patties themselves were very good, thin with a slight crisp to them with a soft bun and melty sauces and cheese. Since it was a happy hour option the burger did not come with any sides like it would have as an entrée. We also got fish tacos and we were a big fan of the slaw and pineapple mayo which brought a balance of sweet and savory to the dish. Only came with two tacos (at least for happy hour) which might not be enough food if you're hungry. The hot smoked salmon was one of the more unique items we tried. The salmon itself was super tasty - salty and smoky just what you want. They use the smaller scraps of salmon that wouldn't work in their Wood-Fired King Salmon entrée and incorporate it into this appetizer which is great sustainability-wise! The salmon came with a creamy ricotta, salty capers, crunchy crostini, and sweet and acidic pickled red onions. We liked this combination a lot but felt it could have used even more sweetness/acidity, maybe just adding a couple more onions to the dish. We really enjoyed the 'Garganelli' pasta dish. It was creamy and indulgent with pieces of lobster and freshly shaved parmesan on top. The chili added a really nice layer of heat but wasn't overpowering. The server was nice enough to split up everything we had over the evening to share (which explains the two small portions in the photo). MN Mule - 8/10 Pretty average but solid mule. However, it was served in a plastic spam cup which elevated the whole experience. Margarita - 9/10 Very good margarita - we were told it was a house made margarita not from a mix. Very bright and fresh flavors that definitely let the tequila shine. Overall would definitely recommend!
