I have been to this location a few times and every time it is an excellent experience. The food arrives fast and has never been anything but perfect. The service is outstanding and the seating is very open and roomy. I've only tried wings and fries here and highly recommend the boneless wings on a nest (on fries). The fries with cheese and jam on them were awesome as well. There are TVs all over to watch sports if you have a game you want to see. When we got there it was not busy but the bar was hopping I love how the bartender was so engage with everyone there she was even helping the server by delivering drinks too the tables when the server was busy I called that teamwork The manager on duty was justice at the time and I could honestly say he was really sweet he came to our table and interacted with my grandson was also behind the bar helping the bartender. The Parm Garlic ones were very heavy on the garlic but other wise everything else was great. My only gripe with this place was the guys at the front were borderline rude. But there's not much direction in terms of signs and the three dudes standing up front were just staring expecting us to decide without telling us options? Maybe it's self explanatory to some. This is the best wing spot I've been to in Virginia. The wings here are seriously excellent. My friends used to live nearby and I've had the wings at least on 5 separate occasions. There are many delicious sauces to choose from, my favorites are the spicy honey mustard and spicy honey barbeque. If you're into very spicy, I hear the 911 sauce fits the bill. My only complaint is that their to-go system could use some work. I once called one hour in advance to pickup wings only to have to wait 30 minutes in the store. The only thing that hasn't changed is the food which is fine with me as this is my go to place for wings and beer on NFL Sunday, March Madness, Stanley Cup/NBA finals and rounds of baseball games. I travel between this and the Ashburn locations. I heard they have one in Reston which I will have to try. They have TVs all over and labeled for whatever game is on. Beers are avail by glass or pitcher and they have HH specials and daily specials for food. Typical bar food, they also have pizza which is surprisingly delicious although it'd be nice if offered by the slice. Also good mac and cheese, loaded fries, and chicken salads. But let's be real, you come for the wings. My favorites flavors: Hot, New Orleans, Peruvian Verde, Mango Habenero, Fire N Ice, Bulgogi, and Eastern Shore. They have about 30 flavors. I want to love the BWF. I've literally been going here for decades, but the service lately has gotten so bad that I'm thinking about not going any more. First the good, they make good drinks. Get an orange crush, they're great. The wings range from good to great but none are bad. BUT, lately, staff is more interested in standing around and talking to each other than serving customers. When you finally ask them for help it's like you're bothering them. Service was very slow for a Sunday when they were half empty (40 minutes to get wings). The main reason for the lower rating was the wings. They were tiny and anorexic. I'd estimate about 1.5 long, maybe the diameter of a quarter at best. Not that I consider Buffalo Wild Wings great wings, but compared in size and meatiness, I'd say they were about 30% smaller. And it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. Our waiter was nice, but felt as if we were invisible the remainder of our meal. I got 1 beer early on and could not for the life of me get him to come back and ask if we needed a refill. Got my 2nd one after 20 minutes of waiting. We eventually got our food and again the waiter never returned and we could not get his attention without being loud/rude. I would recommend calling well in advance for pick up. Honestly this place has fallen off hard recently. While touting the renovations of their other stores they've left the OG to rot. Service from almost all of their new hires fails to meet the standards for doing the bare minimum. Have to flag the bartender down for everything, they never check in, refills have to be requested. Ordering food is a pain. If you're lucky enough to get one of the old guard, your service will be excellent but if it's any of the new hires, prepare for cold food and bad service. Also ever since their menu revamp (seriously, who is ordering the bulgogi tacos) their base Buffalo sauce has changed and is inedible. Their extra hot used to be the sauce I judged all others agains and it's been removed from the menu.
