two plates of food on a table

My wife and I were in Brighton area and craving for Chinese food for lunch. We decided to check out Buffet City for the first time. Arrived at 11am. As soon as we walked in, I noticed right away their huge dining area. The ambiance is pretty nice. Place was clean. I thought the food selection was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and professional. She cleared out the empty plates off our table each time she walks by. The lunch price was excellent. I thought the taste of the foods I tried (see picture) was very good. For $12.00 per person, I can't complain. We would definitely come back to this place again.

It is a Chinese buffet, it was decent and very good. I enjoyed and I was full very quick as always. Not a bad place for Brighton Colorado. Chow mein was very delicious. The habachi was not open but still very good.

We have been Brighton for just over 17 months now and are still trying new places. I've always been curious about this place a d the word 'buffet" has always caught my eye, lol. But for some reason I've always thought it catered more towards the sushi side but I was wrong. I was talking to a person that has been in and around Brighton for 30 plus years a d frequents various restaurants around town and she mentioned this one so the next evening we went here. And honestly I was really glad I did. We went on a Saturday evening where there was no wait and plenty of seating available. Dont get me wrong there was a good amount of ppl ut no necessary to wait for a table or booth. Large parties does seem like a possibility. There is your typical Asian favorites from fried rice to crawfish, peel and eat shrimp, and sushi. They also offer Mongolian BBQ but unfortunately the items to choose from aren't labeled but they are pretty self explanatory. Deserts are pretty basic but who's really there for the desert bar anyway. Prices are reasonable 10.99 for an adult buffet less drinks. The only downfall abou this place is the parking , things are a little tight and limited. But as far as pricing and variety of food it's worth it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

ladies choice... buffet it was. Everyone wanted seconds and thirds did happen for a few. Will tell others to come by :)

Service was good but $3 for 2 drinks is kind of a rip off. The shrimp wasn't clean and ice cream was frost bitten to high hell.

First the positive: I was greeted and treated with positive vibes. There are some hiccups about happy hour. It's only available if you sit at the bar. Having neck and back issues, barstools are not my favorite. I was however, accommodated at a table. I ordered the steak tartare and oysters on the half shell. It's called the best steak tartare for a reason. Everything about it was perfect. The plating was exceptional. It was absolutely delicious. The side of arugula salad was outstanding. The bone marrow perfectly cooked and a wonderful addition. The cheese may be a whipped ricotta? It Was absolutely perfect. However, the oysters were on the verge or had already gone bad. I ate one much to my shock. I tried half of another in case it was just a one off. It was not. typically in a really nice restaurant, You can be safe with seafood. This is not the case. My waitress was less than attentive. And though it may be my fault for not mentioning it, She might've asked why I didn't eat the oysters. They were quite abysmal. I will know better next time. I was told their steaks are locally sourced from Greeley. So I may try them someday. But they're happy hour is an amazing deal. Just stay away from the seafood. I saw good reviews on the bruschetta so I'll add that next time. So solely based on the steak Tartare and not the service or oysters. I will give this four stars otherwise it would probably be 2 to 3. And I will also return. Hope to update my review at that time.

The food...the crab dip and bread crisps was delicious! Two of us ordered Caesar salads. Both guests said it didn't anything like a Caesar. Dressing tasted like Thousand Island! Entree choices were a steak and 2 beef burgoneon (sp). The steak was average, and we were split on the beef burg. Dessert was yum. I'm not a big supporter. Way too many outstanding steak houses in Denver.
