I had to work some last minute magic for my son's second birthday because other family events took precedence the weekend of his birthday and we couldn't do much at home. BABW was on my list and although I was within the 2 week online booking timeframe for online reservations the folks working the phones and the team in the store really helped me deliver. Thank you to Paul, Alvie, Nikki, and all their supporting team mem-bears for helping to make my son's 2nd birthday one to remember. Communication and patience were stellar, and all kids between 2-6, and even the 14 year old left with smiles. One thing that stood out was that the in store team was able to keep a great flow with the guest outside of our party so that everyone could move around the store comfortably. We were in store on a Sunday between 11a - 1p, and there was a good flow of traffic but people mainly knew what they wanted. We also did back surgery on my 14 yr olds 1st BAB that is 14 years old as well, we also got her a new outfit to celebrate my daughter's Harry Potter themed 15th birthday in 2 months.

    Unacceptable

Came here for my child's birthday and got the birthday bear. My child was being a little fussy, so I didn't realize until after I left that they did a horrible job sewing the bear up! I just don't understand how the employee thought this was acceptable

The workers here are friendly and helpful. They take their time engaging with the customers, especially the kids. I can see why someone spends a lot of time in here to create their perfect friend. I was intending to ship my bear but plans changed and I ended up walking in and getting my TBear fixed here which is a lot easier than doing the surgery at home myself. He even got a bit more healthier with more stuffing.... more to cuddle on.

Such a good experience for the kids. We came to this location with my child for the first time yesterday. We where helped by Kelly and she was so patient and helpful. Especially considering that my child has autism and is verbally limited Kelly was so accommodating. My daughter loves dinosaurs so she went with the Dino plush and it was very well stuffed so it feels like it will stay plush for a good while. Again highly recommend for the kids.

I came in yesterday afternoon (July 30th) and had a WONDERFUL experience. I really can't say enough good about this location and it's employees. First of all, I want to give a special thank you to the young man that helped us out. I wish I had gotten his name but he wore glasses and said he used to work at stride rite. We struck up a conversation while he was stuffing my daughter's new dog plush. He was VERY kind and down to earth, he said "dude" a lot and that may seem silly to include in my review but I enjoyed talking to him, it felt like I was just chatting with a friend. Real easy going! I'm going to make sure to call tomorrow to get his name so I can call corporate to pass along the compliment. I didn't feel like there was any up-sale. I did add to my daughters plush. We added a dog noise, a scent and a leash. I used the $15 coupon that was given out during the pay your age fiasco. I don't feel it's fair to judge a location or store based on this ONE day. Especially on their first time trying out a sale like that. This was my second time here and I have to admit that both times were equally enjoyable. I'm glad there are places like these where my daughter can have a fun experience while picking out a toy. Parking is easy, prices are reasonable as long as you don't get carried away with accessories. They have great policies when it comes to repairs as well. I appreciate that as a customer. Love it here. Highly recommend them for all your stuffed animal needs.

I came two Friday's ago and completely forgot to give the girls there a proper shout out ! it was my daughters first time here and the two girls working were so friendly and definitely made it special for her. The one girl did the pumping of the bear with my daughter & tried making conversation with her about her new bear & school. The girl at the register knew that up selling to a 5 year old was a piece of cake so we left with one bear , a outfit , heels , a brush & a light backpack. it was all about 75$ so make sure to come prepared lol thanks again !

In terms of ease of having a birthday party, this is the place to do it. You can drop off your stuff and decorations in advance and they'll set it up for you right before the party. From the first day I went there, we were warmly welcomed into the space by Coaches Ben-Oní, Selah, and Audrey. In the last month, I have seen my son's confidence grow in his gross motor skills. I really liked the minimalist design of the space. There are no screens, and lots of encouragement to use the imagination, which is a major plus to me! I also really liked how they had structured and unstructured times in the class. All of the coaches encourage and respect children's boundaries. They taught me to not hurry my son, and that is something I am really grateful I learned from them. Two challenges with Wild Child are around parking and timing of classes. Though there is a lot on Watseka that does free 60 min parking, it can be difficult to time parking so that there is adequate time to get in and out of class with a toddler within the time frame. Secondly, many of the classes and Free Play for my son's age range were at times that conflicted with his schedule. For the price point, I would like more options that work for us. TLDR; I would recommend Wild Child and I hope Wild Child offers more morning class times.

We were invited to a 5 year old birthday party and it's a cool spot. There's lot of fun activities such as air hockey, basketball, a doll house. magnetic tiles, jumbo jenga tiles, foosball, a VR headset, an art room, big screen TV, and a crafts table. Yes, there's lots of stuff to run around and play with and to fit whatever interest your LO's heart desires. My LO just turned 3 so a lot of the games really weren't for her but she LOVES crafting so we spent most of the time at the craft table The art room looked cool but would be cramped if a bunch of kids ran in there There is a connected room with a long table where the kids eat and pizza and cake are served The owner and his family are super nice and helpful. One star off for no longer having a parking lot. My friend said it had been converted to an outdoor play area but we came on a day it had rained so maybe that's why it wasn't available for the party. Parking is a pain but persistence paid off and I found a spot two blocks down. Be careful of permit only parking areas I don't live in the area so I don't see myself coming often but it think it's a neat place to take your kids but I feel age 5 and over would appreciate it more

I took 2 kids (not mine) age 7 to this camp. The facility is huge with different rooms, activity areas, and even a kitchen to make lunch as a group. The day the kids went, it was lasagna rolls. Before choosing this place, I looked at other day/summer camps like Zooga or options like Pamper N Play. I asked some questions via email and they were pretty fast in responding and being very helpful. Upon arriving, there were a couple kids who were "regulars" and all seemed happy and excited to be there. The facility looks like a very equipped community center/rec room. Clean, well maintained, a huge plethora of toys to keep a kid very busy. During the day they leave the venue to go to the beach, a local park, zip lining, etc. Seems very well run, organized, and they start the day off by having a meeting as a group to talk about the day's schedule and activities. I came to pick up the kids 15 min early and they were having such a good time, I let them play until it was time to go because they did not want to leave. Worth trying out to see if your kid enjoys it!

We took breaks leaving the soft play area but I wish someone was there to remind parents of the age group intended for the soft play area especially since the rest of the museum is open to the older children. This was the only section truly available for babies. I also wish there was staff wiping down the area more often or at least have sanitizing wipes available outside of the play area, especially since babies drool and spit up. I was there for 2 hours and didn't see any staff tidying up or wiping the area down. Some of the soft play sections were separated too where there would be small open spaces revealing the concrete underneath which was a little disappointing because it didn't feel so safe. The gate to close the section off kept opening up too. Aside from the issues above, my baby enjoyed himself. The soft play area is honestly small but I imagine it looks huge from my baby's perspective. There's a mirror, lots of hills and steps, and there's a little slide. He loved every second of it. He also loved the installation on the ceiling above the soft play area. Parking in the garage is free for 90 minutes I believe and it's right next to the museum. The staff at the desk are kind. You leave your strollers at the lobby in front of the front desk. There's several restrooms and there's a nursing/quiet room with 2 rocking chairs facing each other. I wish there was a privacy screen or something though because I was just nursing in front of a stranger and I would have felt more comfortable if we weren't directly facing each other haha. The rest of the museum was great. Lots of sections for older children to run around.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience left our family extremely disappointed…read more We were visiting the children's museum, when my husband, who is a Santa Monica police officer and assigned to the area, stopped by to say hello while actively on duty and in full uniform. He entered the museum without issue, and staff allowed him inside. At no point was any "no weapons" policy explained to him. While there, the interaction between my husband and the children was honestly so heartwarming. Kids flocked to him, excited to meet a real police officer. He handed out stickers, took photos with children who asked, and created such a positive, sweet moment for families and kids. It was one of those genuinely special interactions that helps children feel safe and build positive relationships with law enforcement. Unfortunately, that moment was completely ruined when a manager approached and told him he had to leave because he was carrying his service weapon, despite being an on-duty officer in full uniform. Had this policy been clearly communicated at entry, that would have been one thing. Instead, he was allowed in, warmly engaging with families and children, only to be asked to leave afterward in a way that felt unnecessary and upsetting. I respect that businesses can have policies, but the inconsistency and lack of communication were disappointing. More than anything, it was sad to see such a positive interaction for children abruptly cut short. Experiences like these matter because children benefit from positive relationships with the people who serve their communities, whether that's police officers, firefighters, mail carriers, or other public servants. Those everyday interactions help kids feel connected, safe, and familiar with the people they see in their neighborhoods. What should have been a lovely memory and a meaningful community moment for my kids turned into an uncomfortable and disappointing experience for our family.
