My family and I had a great experience with the Temple of Doom. By far the best escape room experience I've had. This one was well thought out and the animation/technology was awesome!

Really really cool, impressive, immersive, and DEDICATED experience. MAZE really put a lot of effort into thE story, aesthetics, production, and tactile, interactive sensoria that make puzzle rooms really fun.

This was my first time doing an escape room and it was so fun! Hated the hard hat because it kept falling on my face. But really fun overall! The 2 workers that were there were really nice and were really enthusiastic about explaining the storyline to us. We did the temple room and I won't spoil it but there were a lot of going up and down. Highly recommend this place!

Omg I love this place. Came here for my birthday. It was so much fun!! Really advanced place. It exceeded my expectations. But the best.... Was the super nice guy Jamar at the door that welcomed us and was really nice. He just made you feel so at ease. Thanks Maze Room!! I loved it.

Area 51. Escaped and topped the leaderboard!

We booked 2 of their rooms and was able to squeeze in a 3rd thanks to our remarkable host, Andrew. I believe he was a lone wolf that night and he was a rockstar at multitasking. The place was easy to find but it may be a bit tricky with the windows boarded up with posters. Street parking could be a bit tricky too. Sunday evening parking was easy. We did Avalanche first, then Area 51, then ended the night with Sherlock & the Beautiful Mind. They were all amazing and each had their own standout moments. There are some pretty neat things they had us doing. Some I've never done before. You won't find any locks and keys since these rooms are Gen3. All puzzles were straight forward and worked well in the story. They weren't just puzzles in a room. The set design was top notch! You won't see office ceilings here! This Maze Room location is the best one, don't miss out!

I chose this one over the one we usually go to (west la) because my mom was getting a procedure done at cedars and I needed to be close when she was ready to go home. When I walked in at around 2:30 and the staff was nice. Checked in and dropped my bag in the cubby. My daughter who is obsessed with balls wanted to go in the ball pit first. So we did that. She was playing with the balls for quite some time when I noticed that a couple of the balls she was playing with had black dirt on them. I took her out immediately and headed somewhere else to have her play. Mind you, this place has nowhere for infants/new walkers to play safely away from bigger kids. There was a baby sitting in the middle of the floor, couldn't be more than 8-9 months, playing with a walker toy while kids ran around her. Fast forward Wednesday 7/8 comes and she has a full on rash on both her arms, legs and her butt. I took her to her pediatrician because it wouldn't go away and they said it was a viral infection. I saw that the owner had said they clean all day every day but at least while I was there the only "cleaning" I saw done was picking up the ball pit balls and putting them back. No sweeping, no mopping, no wiping down anything. Just sitting at the desk. If I was you I'd opt for the west LA / Brentwood location. They not only have a crawler/new walker area, but their parking is free and they were clean!

He was incredibly kind, helpful, and considerate throughout our visit. It's clear he cares deeply about guests and takes pride in creating such a welcoming environment. If you're looking for something different, memorable, and genuinely fun to do in Los Angeles, I highly recommend Sloomoo Institute. Since we arrived early, it wasn't crowded at all, which made for a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. There were plenty of different slimes to explore, along with a make-your-own slime station where you can customize the texture, color, scent, and charms. At the end there was also a sensory experience where you can step on slime with your barefoot. We spent about an hour there, and while it was definitely a fun and unique experience, I didn't feel the overall value matched the price. If you or your child is really into slime, it's probably worth the visit. Otherwise, I wouldn't consider it a must do attraction, especially given the cost. Keep in mind that ticket prices vary slightly depending on the day and time of your visit.

They set up an awesome obstacle course, kept the kids engaged, and even helped move our pop-up tents to create a better flow for the party. Their professionalism, energy, and can-do attitude made all the difference. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind party experience that creates unforgettable memories, look no further. How Do I Love Thee?…read more Let Me Count the Ways! 1 I originally reached out to them about a year ago just to inquire, and even during that first interaction, I was amazed by how incredible the customer service was. Whoever I spoke with not only shared great ideas but even sent me links for possible venues around Orange County! 2 Fast forward a year later -- we decided our daughter was finally old enough for her racing-themed birthday, and once again, the customer service was impeccable. I must've asked a thousand questions from day one, and every single one was answered promptly, with thoughtful adjustments for the cars and setup. 3 When the big day came, I panicked because the venue turned out smaller than I expected. But Pierre and his teammate -- our assigned instructors -- were absolutely amazing. They calmly helped us figure things out, adjusted as we went, and made everything run perfectly. They truly cared! They arrived right on time, were so efficient, and even my husband told me later that both instructors kept reminding him to make sure I ate something -- apparently, I looked like a hyper energizer bunny having a mini panic attack! 4 The setup and the event itself were wonderful. All the parents had fun, and the smaller venue actually worked in our favor -- no one was glued to their phones! Everyone interacted, laughed, and had a good old-fashioned time, just like the good old days. 5 Lastly, the finishing touches were perfect -- the short highlight reel they made after the event captured everything beautifully. Needless to say, if I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would! They're hands down the best when it comes to kids' parties -- creative, professional, and genuinely caring!

Unfortunately, the experience was terrible. Several pieces of equipment were faulty, and our game master, Sam, was the worst I've ever had. I've done over 20 escape rooms, including ones in California, Oregon, Washington, Guam, Japan, and Korea. He was incredibly sassy and honestly made us feel dumb. He was not encouraging, and his overall attitude was off-putting. His hints were also unhelpful--they were vague, overly general, and did not guide us in the right direction. My team and I were extremely disappointed with his attitude. In addition, there was no timer. This was the first escape room I've ever done that didn't have one. It made it difficult to pace ourselves and determine whether we actually needed hints. Our game master made no exceptions by offering extra time or additional hints, even though there were technical difficulties. He simply told us to move on to another puzzle, but we couldn't because we needed to complete the malfunctioning puzzle to receive an item required for the next one. I highly encourage management to ensure that all game masters are enthusiastic, professional, and willing to help guests in a positive and encouraging manner. In addition, some of the equipment needs to be inspected and repaired, as several pieces were faulty during our experience. Overall, I would never come back. I highly encourage you to spend your money elsewhere! Do better!
