We were picking up some Mochinut, and we were a little hungry. So we stopped by Bulgogi for some Korean food. We just love Korean food! Their food safety rating is excellent, so that's always a great sign. Aunty and Uncle there were working hard and was super nice. I could really feel good about ordering from here. I ordered the Beef Bi Bim Bap. The flavor was good, and I enjoyed it. The Spicy Pork Noodle was good as well. But the flavor was more Americanized and not as authentic as other places. I was hungry and walking around the Crossroads Mall food court. Nothing was calling my attention that night until I got to the end of the food court by QFC and saw the signs for Bulgogi. I stood at a bit of a distance to read the menu and decide if I wanted to order, when one of the owners walked up to the register, saw me, and waved me down with a "Hi! Do you want to order?" And the rest is history. Bulgogi felt like a "Mom and Pop shop" but had an actual Mom and Pop working the restaurant. Maybe it's because I moved away from my parents, and the pandemic has prevented me from seeing my parents in over a year, but it's the duo of the two owners that keeps bringing me back. The owner taking my order, asking if I wanted an egg on top, and explaining the different sauces to me reminded me of my mom and her home-cooking. And the food's good too! My go-to has been the Spicy Pork Bibimbap (with an egg on top, of course)! If you're a little homesick for your parents, like me, or if you're craving some solid Korean food, give Bulgogi a visit! read more

Over priced and under delivers. Customer service was good, but the quality of the food is not worth the price. For 1 meal of kbbq bulgogi beef with noodles was about 12-13 dollars. At most I would pay 9 with taxes for this type of meal. Every friend that I had gone to the food court and have not informed them to get the food from there has been disappointing. I come to the food court quite often. Ok, I have always a special heart for koreans, korean food, korean everything. But I have to be fair with my reviews. I won't do good to the Korean owners if I'm not going to be honest with my review just make them feel good. So here it is. If they want to continue doing this business, they need to find a good korean cook who can truly cook good korean food..even if it's fast food. You guys are putting korean food to shame. Twice I have eaten here..the first time looking time ago, and I remembered it to be bad. The second time, .my son ordered a different dish, thinking it would be different...but still a total fail. Either you guys fold or change. Plus, the price is outrageously expensive. Palace korean offers a cheaper lunch fare with a superb lunch offering ..how can you guys compete with that? I am just being totally honest here. The dishes just does not have anything korean in them, no flavor, so little and not appetizing to look at. No culture, no side dishes.. just nothing. The Chicken Noodle Bowl reminded me of yakisoba.  This is Korean food right? And where's the meat? There were chicken bits sprinkled on top like a condiment. They cook it when you order so it's steaming hot but unfortunately it was flavorless.  The folks working there were very nice but the food just didn't cut it for me since there are so many good places in the food court. I hadn't eaten here in some time, so I checked it out. They changed their Bulgogi platters. Now you can get noodles in leiu of rice. But the spaghetti-like noodles are not so great in my book. They are oddly (very) sweet and have a seasoning similar, but not quite like, the seasoning used in Yakisoba. Also, they used to include a few vegetables, like broccoli, on the platter, but no more. At least the chicken is still as good as it always was. read more

Yummy beef bibimbap! It came with a lot of veggies and plenty of rice. The beef was so good but i wish there was more of it! It was served in a big bowl. They moved spots in the food court, so don't think they closed up like I did until I realized they are just along the back wall now. The food court offered many options and this place was the most appealing of any of them...at least at the time. The food was pretty much what you would expect from a mall food court although the portion size was actually a little more generous than I was expecting. The staff was very friendly and worked through the line efficiently. If I was to nitpick something, I would say the food was a little on the bland side with no real spice to it although, this is a food court restaurant so I'm not looking for anything too grand here. Desperately came looking for a dinner 10 minutes before the mall closed at 6. Everything was closing in front of me but luckily I asked Bulgogi if they were still open and when the staff said I could have the last order I was OVERJOYED!! I went for the beef bulgogi rice bowl with an egg on top. They even opened up the closed credit card station and let me pay with card when I said I didn't have cash. I gave it a 3/5 star because I was a bit expecting more like a Sitdown Restaurant style Korean BBQ atmosphere, but nevertheless I enjoyed my meal which consisted of: A Side Salad, Rice & Kimchi =) and my uber favorite Kalbi !-- Meaty short ribs that are marinated in traditional seasonings, then cooked long and slow, until the meat gelatins form a deep, rich glaze. By the time it is done, the tender beef is practically falling from the bones, and the sauce is thick with flavor. I don't like greasy food and I am not a meat-lover, so I asked the lady cashier for order advice. I finally decided to try Korean beef bibimbap and I like it. The marinated beef and freshly chopped vegetables with a little sesame oil are both delicious and healthy. Topped with the hot and spicy paste in your favorite way, it's amazingly tasty! My friend told me that this restaurant remains open under the pandemic when other stores closed. I think they are hard-working people. There are now several tables for customers who prefers dine in. I asked the lady cashier how is the business? She gave me a tearful look and said that she just wanted the virus to disappear as soon as possible so that we all could return to normal life. As seen from her facial expressions, this pandemic has caused great difficulties for local small business owners. Now I haven't had much Korean, but surely hope that this is at least somewhat authentic as they have seemingly an all Korean staff.
