This is a good restaurant to get some soon tofu soup. We specifically same here for the soon tofu and did not try their other dishes. We came on a weekday so it wasn't busy at all. Service was fast and the Ajuma was very nice and polite. Banchan were great as well. What we got: Kimchi soon tofu (4/5) Great flavor over all and it was not overly spicy. I visited a different location many years ago, so it's been a while since I've been back. I had some bibimbap and some kimbap. The kimbap was pretty good and I think if I were to come back, this is what I would order. It was a good portion size as well. I did not like the bibimbap which really is saying something. When I go to a new Korean place, I usually try to get bibimbap just to set a baseline of what I can expect for other food, so given that this bibimbap was not very good really says something. It was a bit crowded for dinner, but we luckily didn't have to wait for long to get a table. The parking was pretty easy and the staff were also friendly too. The restaurant is situated in a plaza with lots of parking, although the parking lot can get a bit busy at times. This is also a family friendly restaurant! Only ordered here using take out so I can't say much in regard to the service and ambiance, but from the little exposure I had to both, I'd say it's pretty solid. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff was friendly when I picked up my order. I ordered the kimchi pork tofu soup and it was excellent! The soup was very flavorful and there was a good amount of meats and tofu, and everything tasted good together. It also came with a decent spread of banchan. Got takeout as they have a great deal on Grubhub! My boyfriend got the chicken stir fried vegetables while I got the Yukgaejang. I did ask for no kimchi banchans for my boyfriend as he isn't a fan of spicy or kimchi, which they took as just no regular kimchi and he was still give cucumber kimchi. However, they provided a good variety of banchan and it was packed well. My boyfriend was very pleased with his chicken stir fried dish and I got a small taste. The seasoning was immaculate as the chicken and vegetables had a very savory sauce that paired well! I was impressed with my soup dish as well as it had plenty of meats, vegetables and noodles. I even got an extra order of rice and I could to barely add half of it cause of the portions. I'm always skeptical of ordering Korean food as takeout as they usually skimp out on portions but I'm happy to say Stone Korean Restaurant is a fantastic takeout spot! I wanted to try a Korean restaurant and stumbled on stone. I'd also heard about the place so definitely wanted to try this one. They have decent amount of vegetarian options, so I was super excited. Was craving some Korean comfort stews and decided to come to Stone since it's been a minute! Located in a strip mall, there's plenty of parking and hardly anyone in the restaurant for a weekday lunch. We got the spicy pork bulgogi, kalbi, and soybean soup. Lunch portions are pretty small but enough and unfortunately Korean food is just pricey on the eastside. My husband really liked the soybean soup (I found it a tad salty) and the meats were all very tasty without being overly fatty. Service was amazing and the banchan kept coming out without us having to flag her down. She even brought out another banchan and said this one is new! Lately there's been a Korean food boom in the Bellevue area. Maybe it's the K-pop popularity, or the K-dramas on Netflix, but I'm so glad Stone Korean Restaurant has a location closer to me than the Redmond site! We love that we can have a combos of our favorite Korean items. Our main combo is the Kalbi with the soft tofu soup, and I'll also order the Mackarel to round out our meal. The Soft tofu soup is Korean comfort in a bowl! The Kalbi has the right amount of salty and sweet flavor. And I love the tastiness of the Mackarel, just add a squirt of lemon for a bit of acidity! There's also a good variety of banchan (somewhere around 5-7 dishes when we've visited). We've come through a few times, and service was just fine, attentive and quick if we needed some banchan or drink refills. read more

Our first visit was a big disappointment. The food was okay, but this restaurant does NOT refill the side dishes the way other Korean BBQ restaurants do. Secondly, the waitress, although friendly, did not explain CLEARLY, about their "weekend" prices. We thought we were ordering the lunch Bulgogi, but apparently they only have DINNER pricing on the weekend. They claimed the waitress told us, but she really did not and it was difficult to understand her speech. Well, we were stuck with a bill we did not expect to pay. Lunch price for that dish was $23, but they charged us $33 per dish. Suffice it to say, we won't return. We had dinner last night with some friends and we were excited to try this place out. We obviously were catching up and our third person arrived and as soon as she was seated they quickly asked if we are ready. We weren't and politely said to give us 5 mins. We each ordered the stone bibim bap and the silk tofu seafood soup for the table to share. The food arrived hot and smelled so good but we were EXTREMELY disappointed by the rice to meat ratio. The entire dish was just rice. We had little to no meat in our bowl. For $22-$25, at least give us some meat. It also lacked flavor. The side dishes were not that great tasting. I asked for additional sides because I knew what would be gone fast and the server said to finish what we had first and they will bring it. I guess I am not used to this kind of service because we go to a local Korean bbq spot and they always deliver on the extra sides. The soup was great but the shrimp did not taste good. It was also not cleaned. We felt very rushed to pay and leave. There were two other tables occupied in the restaurant so I don't understand why they were so pushy to have us pay and leave. I won't be back and honestly, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I'm posting two star because the soup did taste good so I would recommend someone to go back for that minus the shrimp. read more

We went around 4pm and it was not busy. We were greeted and sat right away. The server was very sweet and quick to attend us. The food was amazing! It was my friend's first time trying Koran food and she fell in love. The bulgogi was juicy and their soup was flavorful! The portions were also very big. I would recommend getting their combos because it's about the same price for one item, but instead you get two! No background music which felt a little awkward, but aside from that wonderful experience. The price for the food was reasonable ,but the soju being $15 was a bit over priced. I'm no expert of Korean food but I know what I like. My friend and I came here Friday night after the Harry Potter Experience at Bravern about 12 minute drive away in a strip mall area. The space looks smaller from the outside tha it is. It goes back pretty far. We got here about 5:15 it wasn't to crowded yet a few more diners but was definitely filling up when we left. I usually get bibimbap but opted for the Kimchi Jhi-Gae and my friend had the Sundubu-jjigae with pork, and we split the Veggie pancake -Yachaejeon. There seven banchan plates that came out and would be refilled if you wanted. Generous portions and I had plenty to bring home. Food was perfect in the piping hot clay pots for the chilly weather. Flavorful I like that I was offered an option for a veggie broth since I selected a veggie option but was perfectly happy with a meat broth. The service was wonderful friendly and very helpful. We opted for barley tea to drink and keep warm. Would definitely return. read more

This is the 2nd Stone location I have tried. I will say this new location is exactly like the one in Redmond in terms of food and menu. What I like about this place is that the food is not sweet. It seems like every Korean restaurant now dumps a bunch of sugar but this place keeps it traditional. Their tofu soup (imo) tastes best with 4 star spice level. If you can handle the heat, I recommend going with 4. I can definitely do 5 but it just doesn't taste as balanced as 4. I got to try Kalbi and marinated pork and both were good. Again, very traditional. Not overly sweet. Nothing crazy amazing or anything but it is a very standard Korean restaurant. Prices were very expensive but I am not really shocked anymore. I recommend it if you're in the area craving Korean food. Not worth going out of your way to try. The venue was big and pretty clean. Service was decent. read more

Service: 3/5 We were greeted and seated right away - arrived around 4PM and there were about 3 other parties dining. Server filled up our waters once, but otherwise did not check in on if we needed anything or if the food was good - she only asked if we needed any more side dishes but she did this as she was dropping off the check - we were not done eating so that kind of rubbed us the wrong way. Food: 3/5 Not the best food we've had but not the worst. The server gave us two glasses of water but one of our glass cups was obviously cracked, but did not offer to switch it out until we mentioned it, and she was also not apologetic about it either. There was also a red chili flake on the cup. I got the regular bibimbap and my boyfriend got the hot pot bibimap. We were content but not pleased. My boyfriend didn't think there was enough meat for the price of the dish. We paid around $44 for two dishes. Pretty pricey. Location: 4/5 Located in the same plaza as LA Fitness/Walmart in Kelsey Creek. It's close to the Autozone. Parking/getting in and out can get hectic during peak times. *We did overhear a party next to us complaining that they were charged a gratuity fee even though they were a party of five (menu mentions the fee would be applied for a party of over 6). The server said that the menu was "old" and was not up to date (which doesn't make sense because you would expect the menu to be updated if the restaurant is newly opened). The beef brisket soup (yuk gae jang) is what I got and I enjoyed it! The seafood pancake was also good. Chicken wings were dry. Dukbokki (spicy rice cake) was below average. Service 5/5 Typical Korean style restaurant where you just let your server know if you need anything - it's a cultural thing so don't feel like you're being rude if you need to ask for extra side dishes or extra water. This place recently opened in Bellevue on Main Street and I'm happy they did. This an official Korean restaurant. I ordered the bibimpap. It came in a hot stone bowl making the rice crispy and everything nice and hot. Very flavorful. They give all the sides which adds to this amazing meal. So glad that Stone has a location in Bellevue now! We've been here twice so far and the staff is always so nice and helpful to our family. There's a lot of tables, and although we haven't been during super busy times, I could see it still being fairly comfy even if it's packed. So many tofu soup places can easily miss the mark with under flavored soup or small amounts of ingredients, but I've never had that issue at any of the Stone locations. My go-to is the kimchi tofu soup with pork. Also, they are really generous with the banchan (side dishes), which change each time we go- they are also really good banchan overall! read more
