Came in on a Fri for dinner. They were somewhat busy, with plenty of to-go's as always. We saw an ahjussi in the kitchen, but couldn't tell if he's the original one. We haven't see the elder ajumma in a long time, so we assume she's retired. Her food was the best, but now everything is okay. We got the Ugeoji Galbitang, and the meat from the beef short ribs fell off the bone, but the flavor was just okay. Hubs liked it better than I. The Galbi was good though. I've been going here on and off for over 5 years and have always had a great meal. I usually always start off with the seafood jeon; a kimchi pancake with tons of shrimp, and other seafood. This place is so good. Growing up my friends mom was from Korea and this place tastes so much like her cooking.

We loved it! First time there. The food was amazing! We both got the hot stone bulgogi bowl, fried dumplings, glass noodles and kimbap. Plus they give you all the sides (banchans) you can eat!!! This place is our go to. The seafood pancake is good and their LA Galbi is meaty. Love their sides too!

I've been here twice and both times I've been pretty impressed with the food. The kimbap is one of my favorites. I'm a sucker for it. The galbi is a classic dish but it's not the best here. It could use more seasoning. The soft tofu soup with seafood is good but I had to add more gochujang when I went home for more seasoning. The sides dishes are a classic but the kimchi here was a bit old and soft and more sour like it's been fermented longer than normal. The service was good for take out and eating in. It is good enough for Oklahoma but I'll go back to Dallas and eat in Carrollton for the legit amazing Korean food! read more

I picked up Bulgogi Korean for takeout while in Edmond last week. The Kimbap and Bulgogi were both amazing. Portions generous and prices fair. When I called they were happy to take my order and when I arrived the staff was friendly. This is a short review but seriously Bulgogi Korean is amazing. Until last week, it's been a few years since I've been back at Bulgogi, and the food is still just as amazing as I remembered it to be. The seafood pancake continues to be my favorite menu item, and this time we tried the pork bulgogi rice bowl and the army stew. We've had the tteokbokki, bibimbap, and the soft tofu soup before as well. Everything is delicious, and I particularly enjoyed trying the army stew this time. OMG! The best Korean restaurant we have ever been to! Had the bulgogi - it was great. Husband had the Hot Stone Bowl bibimbap and has been raving about it all the way home. If you love Korean food, this is the place in the OKC Metro area to go to. I you haven't tried Korean food, go to this restaurant. Great, friendly service, Great banchan, with refills when needed. I am glad I gave this place a try! I get my hair done nearby and I was recently hungry after an appointment. To my surprise, this place was walking distance so I thought I would pop in for a quick post-hair appointment bite. The place is pretty clean and actually is fairly large inside. The menu was straightforward and had a decent amount of options. The food was pretty good. I LOVED their Kimchi Jeon (kimchi pancake). It was so large, crispy and packed with flavor. The sauce with it too... so good! I also got the Kimbap and Jajangmyeon. Everything was pretty spot on for me. The portions are pretty decent, so just keep in mind you'll probably want a to-go box. The service was also good, the servers were quick, kind and overall just lovely. Glad to now have a quick go-to Korean spot near my hair salon. Might just be my new haircut day ritual. read more

The staff here are wonderful, very welcoming, and attentive. The place was bright and spacious. My jjajangmyeon was fantastic. The noodles had a good consistency and were smothered in a savory black bean sauce. It was a bit saucy; maybe if they had given a little bit more noodles, then it would have been great. When we walked in, it smelled wonderful and we heard Korean. The restraunt was full of cultural Koreans as well as Okies. All signs, something authentic and delicious is about to happen. This place is a pretty good fix for Korean food! The prices are a little high, but it isn't crazy bad. They do honor the traditional banchan (side dishes) that come along with every Korean meal, so I'd like to think that makes up for the price you pay. I've been here twice but so far I've been pretty pleased with the food! This time round I ordered the tteobokki and my friend had the beef bibimbap - they seasoned it pretty well, and the portion was pretty big. Tteobokki was made well too, and was definitely made to share. Only thing I could nitpick about was probably the last time I had the kimbap - despite huge portions I felt like it could definitely have been seasoned better. The food was a 8/10. It felt like something was missing from the dish but I couldn't tell what it was. I had a rice bowl with Bulgogi for $13.99 to go and felt that for the price the plate could have been a little more fuller. Some menu price photos from other reviews have changed so I was a bit sticker price shocked when i went during the lunch period for the bulgogi states as 8.99 or 9.99 but then I was told a different price and that prices have changed. Wished it was updated so i could have made a more informed purchase. The cashier/server was nice enough. The location is very clean outside and inside it's clean with nice decor that doesn't overwhelm while sitting at the tables or the booths. So overall a 3.8/4 for the small things I've mentioned. Try it out but don't expect a perfect 5 star experience without added costs/spending more. read more

Nice dinner tonight at the Bulgogi Korean Bistro. The menu has many options and the food tastes great. I chose the spicy pork bulgogi which came with white rice. It also included the traditional side dishes filled with spicy bean sprouts, cucumbers and kimchi. The other side dishes were an assortment of pickled vegetables and fish cake. The pork slices were grilled with onion. The meat was tender and spiced perfectly, not to hot but just enough for a sweet flavor. The rice was sticky making it easy to eat with chopsticks. It was cooked just right as well. Not to dry nor too wet but just right. The side dishes were varied. They add to the overall eating experience with different flavors. The side dishes also help you get your daily veggies quota down easier. The restaurant was large and clean. There was plenty of parking too. The service was prompt and friendly. As I stated earlier, the restaurant has many items on the menu that are not always available at other Korean Restaurant. Please stop by when you have a chance, I'm sure you won't be sorry. I am remiss for not updating this more quickly. The restaurant has been open now since 2018 and for good reason. The earlier bugs with timing - gone. My opinion now is this; Bulgogi makes Korean food that is some of the best in the Metro. I went recently with a group of four and all present ate to the point of discomfort because it was that tasty. Additionally, I noted the cleanliness of the place has not decreased, and I commend that. Bottom line, good food, nice and professional staff, clean and comfortable. If you are a UCO student and do not know about this close to school restaurant, it is blocks away and a great reason to skip the food court. read more

I had the Bulgogi, was disappointed in the way it was prepared as though it had been steam (re?)heated and the onions at the bottom were just cooked on the serving platter. I like to have the grill sear on mine, this did not. Was also disappointed in the side dish sizes, while it was 'enough' if not for eating with chopsticks each would have been barley a bite size with a spoon. (I'm sure I could have asked for more but did not, felt they were pressed for product with the amount I was given) for 25 bucks I did not expect to wake up with stomach hunger pangs less than 12 hrs after dinner. I will not recommend to friends (atm) that are unfamiliar with Korean food. Convenient location, frequented by Koreans, which is a good sign in its favor. read more
