For this cidery we got a nice, dry cider. A type of cider that Steve and I prefer most of the time over the very sweet ones. The name of this cider was Cat La Roux Perlant. This cider as most good apple based ciders should have has apple involved in it as well as a tartness, an astringentness and a dry finish. Like a many coders it is light bodied which in most cases is what we always prefer when it comes to ciders. There are other cider options from this cidery that look quite promising for delivering a good quality product so that is something to look forward to whenever the opportunity arises again to have more cider from Raw.

My husband is very inquisitive, and could have stayed there all day listening to his faciniating stories. He made us feel like VIP's and it is obsious he has a true pasion for what he does. This is a great reason why you should shop local. You can find such unique experiences by supporting your local farmer. I thought it was just businesses to the east of interstate, primarily for the road traffic mostly but the town hops across the interstate and goes west to where downtown is. And there is where Crosscut is. At first I had the interpretation that this place was a cidery but it's more of a tap house that serves guest taps for beer and cider. They also serve food as well. We got a couple smaller sized beers from their tap list. Breweries that were out of Vancouver,WA and Portland, OR. Those were very good! The nachos we ordered were good too. I think you can pick from two different options and we went with one where it had a pulled pork. It was more like BBQ nachos. Definitely something out of the ordinary but very appetizing and enjoyable! Nice location in downtown. We were here in the evening and most of the shops were already closed but would love to come back in the day for a drink and some eats while window shopping downtown.

The decor was very stylish and comfortable with inside and outside seating. Everyone was welcoming and friendly to regulars and first timers like us alike. What a wonderful little place!
