For this cidery we got a nice, dry cider. A type of cider that Steve and I prefer most of the time over the very sweet ones. The name of this cider was Cat La Roux Perlant. This cider as most good apple based ciders should have has apple involved in it as well as a tartness, an astringentness and a dry finish. Like a many coders it is light bodied which in most cases is what we always prefer when it comes to ciders. There are other cider options from this cidery that look quite promising for delivering a good quality product so that is something to look forward to whenever the opportunity arises again to have more cider from Raw.

They have some outdoor seats some covered some not. Comfy couches inside to relax and sip your ciders and charcuterie snacks. Service was great and fast despite the line of folks flowing in. They have cider slushies in a few flavors to choose from. The flights are a great way to see what hits your palate and you want to try it take a growler home. This place is very clean and the grounds are well manicured and taken care of. The Brazilian lime aid is my favorite as it tastes just like you're eating a key lime pie! I did like the hardchata as well, it's creamy and blast you with cinnamon. We had to grab a 6 pack of the Hard Brazilian lime aid to take home to enjoy. Fantastic find!

It's been a hot minute since I have had a cider from them but the cider I just finished enjoying was none other than Elvira's Currant Obsession. This was a currant cider and a type I don't believe I have had before. I have had currants before but it was when I was quite young and we had a currant bush in my grandmother's yard on the family ranch. We would grab some for a snack which was always good. I remember them being a tad tart. This cider in contrast us fairly sweet and while it was good I tend to go for more dry ciders. But Elvira was on the label and how can you not love Elvira? She's in season anytime of the year. But anyway the flavor highlights for a kind of less common berry is the red currant( or on the bottle it says Black Currant) , apple and sweetness. Tartness is there as well as dryness but it definitely is more subdued. And it makes sense since this is a berry cider. At any rate it was good to revisit Bauman's Cider again and thank you for tuning into another one of my Yelp reviews...unpleasant dreams! *cue the sinister laughing and more creepy organ music*

The inside is quite large with a variety of seating, and they have a patio as well. We tried two different cider flights, each highlighting different styles. Wildcraft Cider Works was a cidery that Steve and I tried recently. The particular cider that we…read morehad was the Mirabelle Plum cider. As the name indicates it had plenty of plum in the beverage but also apple was blended into it as well but the plum won out as far as dominant flavor goes. This cider is sweet, fruity, tart and dry all rolled into one. It is fairly complex and some may not quite find it to be their thing due to the plum aspect and those range of flavors associated with it but I liked it fairly well as the cider was unique and although increasing in frequency with other fruited ciders beside apple the Mirabelle puts an interesting spin on things and gives you and your palette something to think about.
