Ceviche is also pretty darn good. You can't leave this restaurant without having the café bombón. BEST coffee I have ever tried. I went here today on a Sunday for brunch and got here at 1pm. It's good to make reservations ahead of time but I was able to by 12pm and was seated by 1ish. I choose the 3 course brunch menu that is $31 but if you order egg and steak it will be an up charge $8. I order a salmon appetizer, with egg and steak entree and for the dessert I had the hazelnut b Nutella waffles and it was delicious. I also had the bottomless mimosas for $22. The unlimited mimosas includes sangria and mimosa. I didn't like the sangria but I did love the Passion fruit mimosa. The server was attentive and the food didn't take look for me to get it. Maybe because I had tried Bulla in another location, or was it because it was before COVID, or was it that somethings have definitely changed after COVID??? Tried the Bulla Brunch, since they offer so many options on the menu. Started off with the appetizers: Garbanzo Frito- garbanzos very soft, served almost like a soup of garbanzos, great flavor with a poached egg Grilled Flatbread- was yummy, the cheese really made the flatbread taste great, crusty and eat it quickly so it won't get soggy on the bottom! Montaditos de Salmon Ahumado- was exquisite, the bread slightly toasted, purple onions where marinated sweet (delish) Melon con Jamon- was the most refreshing salad and it was a great combination of flavors, between the bacon, tomatoes, dressing, this was the STAR appetizer!!!!! On to the second course: Bulla Hamburger- cooked perfectly as requested, brioche bun, arrugula, perfectly done, great combination of flavors Huevos Bulla- I remember these being the star of the menu. They are NO longer. The chips were stale, we requested them to be changed. Although they came after with another order, the second plate looked better that the first one. But this dish is not how I remember it. I remember the chip recently done, with a white truffle foam (it seemed more like a cream)... oh well... definitely things have changed. Huevos Benedictinos- eggs over an English Muffin, runny eggs and benedict sauce... mehhhh.... There was a mixup, the person who delivered the Huevos Bulla was unaware that we were missing some appetizers at the time it was served. It seemed disorganized, and yes they did correct the problem. But it seems that the food is just made and sitting in the kitchen to be auctioned to the next table that ordered it. Plus the people delivering and removing the plates from the table were not the friendliest of all. Yes, I understand that is a shortage of staff, but maybe more training?? I have been to the location in the Gables and Doral but never this one by the Falls. My husband and I needed a break from shopping with teenage girls and decided this would be the place. We started with 2 ice cold beers. We ordered a few tapas- the pan con tomate with jamon serrano and manchego, marinated olives, croquettes de jamon, lentil soup and the pulpo gallego. The pan con tomate was so fresh and flavor. The toppings enhanced the flavors. I am a lentil soup lover and this one did not disappoint! The octopus was tender and a nice change as we tend to always order it grilled. The croquetas were sooo creamy and scrumptious. The food came out quickly and our server checked in on us frequently. For the second course, I got the cochinillo hash which came with Braised shredded pork, poached egg, breakfast potatoes (SO GOOOOOOD). And for the third course, I got the Hazelnut Waffles which came with Nutella, chocolate shavings, white chocolate Chantilly, toasted almonds (if you love Nutella you'll love this AND the toasted almonds omg chefs kiss). This was my first time at the Fall location and loved it. The customer service was great. The waitress that took care of us was really kind and let us take our time. I love the casual ambience of the restaurant but it has a little bit of glam to it. What I love most about this restaurant is their menu specifically their tapas. Tapas are small plates that are meant to be shared. My go to tapas are: Serrano Croquetas Tortilla Española Tequeños Pan con Tomate (Add jamón and manchego) Patatas Bravas One of the things I love is that the tapas are simple plates but Bulla always add something a little extra like for the croquetas it's the fig jam in the side. I ordered the patatas bravas. Honestly it tasted like something you would order from Taco Bell. The sautéed shrimp were rubbery and pretty much tasteless. The spinach salad with salmon was ok. Although the salmon was VERY dry. The sangria was a cup full of ice with a bit of sangria. Will I be returning? Absolutely NOT! Not even if I was given a free voucher/gift certificate. The manager recovered the situation to our satisfaction and turned out to be happy with the overall experience. We usually tip 20% and above. Unfortunately, the server and/ or manager felt that it was appropriate to add 18% auto grats for party of 6 and above (it clearly states in the line item: party of 6 and above) for our party of 5 guests. There was nine of us in our group - 4 of us finished eating, and the other three in our group still had not gotten their food. We never went without water for too long and he regularly checked up on us. He brought the bill quickly and our food came hot so he didn't let it sit out for a while. The food was pretty good, I didn't like my main plate but my girlfriend liked hers and the appetizer was delicious (papatas bravas). I've ate at the Coral Gables location and the food was great but here it lacked any flavor. I ordered the Paella de Pollo and my girlfriend ordered the Huevos Bravos and the barbie sangría. The Sangria we both expected to be more themed so that was a let down but she liked her food. What a great date with my hubby! Inside the restaurant is bright with happy vibes. The service was amazing and our server was quick to fill our bottemless. For $20 a person you have the choice of mimosas, red or white sangrias. They offer both a brunch and lunch menu. We ordered off the linch menu and had machengo cheese with serrano ham, a stetuna tartar, the pulpo, and gambas. Everything was paired to perfection with the sauces and small sides that accompany them. All of the dishes we ordered were tapa sized. The steak I had was good and I really liked the salad. My mom got the truffle carbonara which tasted delicious and was very creamy. The croquetas are a 100/10. The huevos rotos, I mean huevos Bulla, are my favorite and go-to dish. This dish is such a good choice to get because it had potato chips, truffle cream, jamon iberico and fried eggs. We had gambas, pan con tomate and Jamon and dates wrapped with bacon, as the entree we ordered el arroz caldoso it was so good and great portion as well. The Miami spice let's you order a drink for the same price so we had a cerveza sangria and a white sangria and for dessert we had churros.
