Was looking for an upgrade to the cheap plastic sliding screen doors on back of my house. Invited Bulldog out for a discussion and estimate. The booked a Saturday morning (great) and arrived on time. Vernon walked me through the application they could provide to improve both the function and security of my rear sliders and associated screens. He had good pictures on his phone of installed product in applications identical to mine. These things are machined grade aluminum and SUBSTANTIAL. A bit over-engineered for my application, but I appreciate this. You can lock the screens with a key mechanism, not some cheap thumb lock that can be easily forced. 8-10 week delivery and I was offered free installation. Can wait to get these installed read more

Worth the wait! I ordered 10 Bulldog Security Screens for my home in February 2022. Lead-time was 12-13 weeks but it well worth the wait. Screens are now installed (May 2022) and it made an immediate difference in temperature in the home. With onset of our Arizona heat, I noticed immediately upon closing the sliding screen door, the UV protection in the screen. These Screens have a coating that repels a great deal of heat. The 3rd time they even forgot they had to redo my front door after I waited another 8 weeks. Almost 10 months went by before I had to fire them. I had to fire the other company and demand my money back for the unfinished work which they did pay me with no problem. After a long wait to get the screens custom made, (close to 10 weeks) I finally got them installed today by the Henderson, NV location. Even though these are expensive, they are head and shoulders above the quality and looks of the other option in Las Vegas that Olson Iron has. The looks alone add value to the house. Along with making all my windows impenetrable to your average burglar, these really cut down on heat going through your windows. I have tint on my windows but the evening sun would still heat up the windows and effectively turn them into radiant heaters in the late afternoon sun. After the screens were installed I felt the glass that would normally be warm that time of day and to my surprise they had almost no heat coming through from the sun, this will save me on electrical bills in the summer months.
