Fresh pasta in marinara (??) sauce on happy hour.
    Alana G.

Ambience, service, wine selection, fresh pasta, and happy hour - all 5 stars. BUT the sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee's. Unforgivable to put that on that beautiful, perfectly cooked pasta. I added loads of parm and pepper and still raked off the sauce to eat. The portion was ample but I did not take the leftovers., Previously, I had the cheese pizza. It was gooey with the cheeses and extremely crisp crust. Tasty but not like any pizza I have had in travels from Naples to NYC. Huge pizza for happy hour price.

Dirtiest martini ever made by Jaylen. This drink was per perfection. The grilled octopus was perfect and the vegetables it was atop were sweet and juicy. The beet root gel was subtle. We had three different dishes, the pork shank, braised beef and spaghetti verde. All were fantastic. I forgot to take a picture of desert so you just have to trust me . It was the puff pastry with vanilla and covered in chocolate. The name is difficult. Profiteroles. My pancreas just died and I'll be in recovery for a month.

We popped in not long after happy hour started and were the only folks in the place. Service was SO friendly! Ambience was pretty quiet since we had the place to ourselves, but I could see how it would get noisy if the crowd was more lively. We were pleased by the food - I got the diavolo pizza, yummier than expected, and she got the chicken piccata (not on the HH menu) but also very good. Give it a try!

The food is delicious! From the appetizers to the cocktails to the dessert I enjoyed my experience here. The aesthetic is beautiful, and the staff was very welcoming. I can't wait to try the brunch!

From the moment you walk in you are welcomed by friendly faces and a very cozy ambiance. I came with my parents and two brothers the day after Christmas and it was a very comfortable setup in one of the back booths. We started off by looking at the iPad with the drink menu, which made selecting cocktails and a bottle of wine very easy. We are big sharers and got a few appetizers along with a pasta to share with our main dishes. I loved the filet I ordered. It was cooked wonderfully, but what really caught my attention was the desserts. The tiramisu was delicious and while the mousse wasn't something I was expecting, it was absolutely delicious. Our server was also amazing. Would definitely be back without hesitation!

Bellini's and beets did not disappoint. Beautifully crafted cocktails. With gorgeous umbrellas, delicious food. And a DJ spinning amazing house music.

    Pasta Pesto

I went to Buonissimo for a weekday lunch. It was not too busy, seated and served right away. The interior is just lovely. My server was just lovely. The wine collection is massive. The Burrata is just like you get in Italy, SUPERB and my Pesto Pasta was delicious. This is in my top two Italian restaurants in Fort Worth. Parked down the street at a meter. Downtown parking can be tricky.

    Chicken piccata

I came for a quick weekday lunch. The chicken piccata was delicious. It was a large portion for lunch. Service was great! I enjoyed talking with the hostess and my server. I saw lots of amazing pizza's going to other tables, so I will try that next.

An outstanding fine dining experience from start to finish. The food is beautifully executed, thoughtfully plated, and full of flavor without being overdone. Every dish feels intentional and refined. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. She explained the menu with ease, made excellent recommendations, and elevated the entire experience. Elegant atmosphere, exceptional food, and top-tier service. We will absolutely be back and recommending this place to all our people.

    Beet risotto

Had such a wonderful experience here, my family is still talking about it. All of the food is so fresh and amazing I ended up over ordering because I wanted to try everything! It's rare for me to say, "This is the best I've ever had," but I found myself saying it multiple times throughout the meal. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Their love for their craft shines through in both the food and the atmosphere. I strongly recommend treating yourself to an evening here with someone special or even just treating yourself! Can't say enough. Hopefully my pictures can speak for me.

Look closer and you will see a great selection of dishes that will leave you with difficult choices. The service is what you would expect at a place like this. Your water glass is always full and the team takes care of you. Great wine and cocktail list. Try the old fashioned if you're a bourbon person. The dining room may seem a bit crowded but the noise level is where you can still have a conversation with those around you. My wife ordered the Gnudi, a spinach and ricotta filled dumpling and it was fabulous. But, it did not compare to my duck leg confit with a beet risotto with duck sausage. Wow! I am just saying, this was exceptional! I have had confit all over the world and this was one of the best, by far. Overall, I cannot recommend this spot more highly. Obviously food is the pinnacle but this place hit on all marks.

To call this an italian restaurant is a joke, it feels like someone who's never been to Italy is trying to fool people with this generic nonsense. Service was fine, but the food quality helped me understand why the place was overwhelmingly empty on a Thursday evening. On top of that, they asked if id like bread with my pasta, I said yes and they brought 2 pieces of burnt bread. I asked for some butter or oil, they brought a small patch of decent quality butter. I finished my meal and asked for the check, I was shocked to see they charged me $5 for the bread and $1 for the tiny piece of butter. I've never seen this before, and was quite surprised they didn't mention i was going charged when they asked if i wanted bread. Avoid, customers don't deserve to be treated this way when there are so many options in the area.

We had an amazing waitress in Annamarie who recommended the best drinks and wine pairings with our pasta we made. It was a great setup to be as intimate or socialize as much as you'd like. They taught us how to make pasta and gnocchi from scratch and also sent us home with our dough and some sauce and noodles to cook later ourselves I highly recommend the calamari and brussel sprouts. The calamari was fried perfectly very light but still had the crunch and the crispy sprouts were crispy and had a phenomenal taste with the Parmesan cheese

He got our drinks, then a basket of warm bread with a plate of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Yummy! There were three of us tonight. We ordered as follows: - Capellini with Seafood - Branzino with Garlic Spinach (shared) - Il Modo Chopped Salad Wow - the food was amazing tonight. My wife and I shared the Branzino. It was a huge portion and real tasty. My son had the Capellini with Seafood and loved it. I tried it as well. Loved the spicy sauce. Then we ordered dessert. Here's what we shared: - Stratacelli Gelato - Tiramisu - Cannolis Wow - they were all good. I liked the Tiramisu the best. Note: they keep it well air conditioned here. Consider a light jacket or sport coat. We will return to Il Modo. Thank you kitchen team and Patrick for another great dinner.

Clean, well lit. Wait staff dressed uniformly. Dining area divided into sections, so we sat in a cozy intimate "corner" with a few other tables. Wait staff: Clean, neat and friendly. Our server was a WONDERFUL young lady named Jasmine. Very attentive, almost "intuitive", but not too intrusive. Perfect service. Food: Bread was nice, in house made garlic rolls with a light pretzel salt on top. I had Chicken Parmigiana, on a bed of thin spaghetti. My wife had the Lasagna. Portions were very generous. (I'm Cajun, so a "portion" to me usually feeds two. I was full and happy.) Chicken was fresh, hot, perfect breading. Marinara sauce tasted like homemade sauce, with a perfect amount and blend of Italian herbs. I had my wife's leftover lasagna for supper. (She loved it, but there was a lot.) It was every bit as good as my entree. I'm guessing that was ground veal. Wonderful! A gentleman I assume was the owner/manager came around to personally make sure the dining experience was good. Price was well in line with other sit down restaurants. (About $37 for both, and got 3 meals out of it.) Overall experience: I'd give it a 9.5, only because I don't give 10's. (Unless you feed me by hand, and wash and wax my car. HA!) We will *DEFINITELY* go back. (OK. I admit. That means I'll be harassing my wife to go back sometime this week. But, it really was GREAT!

They are Chicken Sunrise, and Veal Genovese, both come with pasta and the sauce on the meals are wonderful. Since we like these two dishes so much it is hard to try anything else. Bread rolls also come with the meal. Salad is extra, I had the Caesar salad. Started with an appetizer Escargot Provencal.... oh man this is good. Dip your bread into the garlic butter yum. The plates have plenty of food you will be full or take-home leftover. Nice glass of wine is good with the meal. Service was good once they were terribly busy, so the food came out slowly. But I understand the staff were working very hard. They only had two wait staff when we were there. Great place to go for a date or special night. Or anytime casual inside.
