    Lunchtime. Patio dining!
    Amber M.

We came to the Omni Hotel for a daycation and the Buoy Bar is a restaurant on the premises. We dined there for lunch. The theme is Caribbean so many of the dishes were Caribbean inspired. We sat on the patio. The service was quick and attentive. The food was good but nothing stood out. We only dined there because there were no other options. We spent the remainder of the day on the beach which was adjacent to the restaurant.

What a great bar inside the Omni Hotel at Hilton Head Island. Seating is outside near the pool and the drinks are surprisingly delicious for a poolside bar! I always expect poolside bar drinks to be weak and watered down, but all of mine were delicious and pretty! Another wonderful thing about this bar is that they have a server come around the pool to bring you drinks while you lounge or swim! And they charge it to your room so you don't have to fumble with payment. Highly recommend!

Great bar next to the pool, and also a short walk from the private beach access ramp at Omni Hotel Hilton Head. I got a piña colada and it was perfectly made and so refreshing! It's super casual there, so you can walk up wearing your swimsuit and it's totally fine. Faster service if you just order at the bar. You can order both food and drinks at the bar. It's pretty loud and crowded there in the afternoons, so expect some wait to get your drinks and food.

I'll be honest - this place exceeded my expectations. We were guests at this resort (the Omni), and this restaurant is poolside. Honestly, we did not necessarily intend to eat here, but our 5-year-old made a friend at the pool, and our two families decided for convenience and to entertain the kids to all grab lunch together at the poolside bar and restaurant. Service was excellent - our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. I ordered the coconut shrimp, my husband had the tuna poke, and my son enjoyed a kid's hot dog and fries. Everything was excellent. The shrimp was crisp and fresh, and the sweet chili sauce was incredible. The tuna also was fresh and came in a generous portion loaded with avocado. The only potential drawback was the cost. I have trouble dropping $65 for a lunch I can eat in my bathing suit. But at least it was tasty, and we had a great time!

Ah the Buoy Bar! I really enjoyed having you so close to the pool. And your drinks? Quality. Thanks for not charging an arm and a leg for tasty poolside bevs! You're great. The decor? Loved it. I likes the buoys a bunch - added some seaside flair and color. I'd love to replicate the look for our back patio at home.

Great surprise from Shaniqua n Courtney for or wedding anniversary!

Hi Everyone, We want…read moreto first compliment Gail your host and Owner of the Jazz Corner in Hilton Head, SC for the exceptional talent she has booked over these many years in her club because it is always wonderful. That alone would be a terrific accomplishment but when it is paired with the exceptional, savory fare they offer, the combination makes for a very special event. Their grouper or steak are always exceptionally prepared and delicious and if you prefer wine or cocktails, you have some delightful offerings. The service at the bar, or a table is wonderfully pleasant and very timely in our experience which we always enjoy. We feel the star here is the Jazz as this venue is small enough to feel the music move over you, around you, and through you which is exciting and delightful. These are very talented musicians that hit all the right notes. Their side comedy is always funny as well. Our last visit was on Valentine's Day this year (2026) offered an exceptional guest trio with their Pianist's Father sitting in the audience which was very touching. In our many visits here, over our decades living here in The Low Country, the Jazz Corner has delivered an eclectic evening which is always a thrill. So if you enjoy a romantic evening out with your special someone, we can highly recommend you visit the Jazz Corner together and feel the music overtake you. Enjoy!l

Starting with the burger, I like when a smash burger is ACTUALLY a smash burger. They include cheese and pickles on it and it was just the perfect burger. I think it's pretty high on my burger rankings. Might even beat Heavy's! I feel like it's rare to get waffle fries unless you're going to Chick Fil A, so it was nice to have them with our burger. We got a bag to share and there was plenty. They were salted and seasoned to perfection and perfectly crispy. We sat outside where they have a full bar, a TV for sports, and they had live music.

This is genuinely one of the best burgers around. The waffle fries deserve a special mention: fresh, nicely done, and you get a generous portion. Think Chick-fil-A fries, but the way they should be. The Truffle Fries are solid too -- just a bit rich for my taste, but that's purely personal preference. I also tried the Sweet & Spicy Chicken -- good and flavorful, though slightly heavy on the batter for me. Still worth a try. A Couple of Suggestions: A lower-carb side option would be a welcome addition -- I asked and it was a hard no. Hopefully Tin and Tallow considers adding some healthier alternatives down the road. Breakfast -- Proceed with Caution: The croissant with egg and cheese was, unfortunately, a miss for me. The egg and cheese were fine, but buttering an already butter-heavy croissant and griddling it turned it into a flat, gooey mess. I hear there's a biscuit option, which might be better -- but personally, I'd love to see an English muffin or bagel on the menu. Something with a little more structure would go a long way. Bottom Line: Come for the burgers and fries -- you won't be disappointed. Just maybe skip the croissant breakfast for now.

The staff continues to impress--attentive, warm, and they actually remembered us, which made the experience feel even more special. We even saw the young gentleman from Croatia again who had taken care of us on a previous visit--he was just as pleasant and even stopped by our table to say hello, which was such a nice touch. We dined later in the evening this time, and it was really special to see the staff, managers, and I believe even the owner all still there together. It felt less like coworkers and more like a family--which says a lot about a place. Food-wise, everything held up to our first visit (which is rare!). I couldn't resist and ordered the beef bourguignon again--still absolutely incredible. We also had escargot (note: it comes with béchamel unless you ask otherwise), and that amazing cassoulet loaded with different meats from the evening--it was spectacular. Safe to say this place is officially our favorite on the island... and yes, I'm still tempted to keep it a secret .

Music incredible. Atmosphere incredible…read more Vibes perfect. Everything great. My wife and I stumbled upon this place completely on a whim on our last night in town. We came for the music, and it absolutely delivered but so did everything else. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and encouraged to slow down, relax, and truly enjoy the experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the entire evening felt special. I ordered the Duke Ellington ribeye, and without exaggeration, it was the best ribeye I have ever eaten. As ridiculous as it may sound, time seemed to stop for a moment. Every bite was packed with flavor that hit something deep inside me and took me back to simpler times. It was one of those rare meals that becomes a memory. The experience was so good it almost brought a tear to my eye. Not because it was fancy or expensive, but because the level of care, craftsmanship, and excellence put into that meal was something truly special. My wife ordered the pasta primavera and she described it as simple, light, but packed with flavor. We stayed for hours vibing to the incredible musicianship displayed. The warmth of the staff felt like family. Wish we were local so we could make this a regular date night spot. Thank you for an unforgettable evening. We'll be talking about it for a long time.
