This place is a MUST GO TO in your travel plans. My husband has been watching the reels and following on instagram for a few months now. We took the opportunity to come by the location on our way home from Disney and let me tell you! It does not disappoint!! The crunch is SOOOO REAL!! The thrill is exciting. So good! Let's just say this, traveled from Washington State to try this place (pizza) and I was not disappointed. When you start walking towards the door you can automatically smell the deliciousness. Inside they have a small sitting area for couple groups and then a counter top bar. You can watch all the pizzas, calzones, breads being prepared and cooked. Outside there are some tables for outdoor dining as well. This place is definitely worth the wait, it was definitely worth the travel. I loved so many things about this place, but I've got to keep it one hundred. Parking is a challenge. I found a spot right in front (awesome!), but you have to parallel park on a very busy street (aaack!). The customer service was TOP TIER! The young lady greeted me warmly, I was super flustered from the parking, her nice smile and patience, instantly flipped my mood. I ordered a margherita pizza, but it wasn't my favorite. The crust was thick and doughy, it had tons of cheese, but not those nice little circles you expect and it had a ton of basil. It wasn't terrible, but not at all what I expected. I ordered the mango tiramisu (I love tiramisu!) and she gave me a strawberry one as well, for good measure. They weren't really tiramisu, but they were delicious! The black garlic sauce was super strong (she threw it in for me to try) and the garlic sauce was fine, but not necessary for pizza. My friend told me to get it. I was in Venice this summer and the pizza was sublime. I liked so many things, but I'll have to look more carefully at the menu. I have been waiting a very long time to try this place!! This place got me in a chokehold about two years ago off an Instagram post. I currently live in the Bay Area and I was devastated when I found out this is the southern California restaurant. Week after week, they would post amazing videos of their food ! Finally, I made my way down and put this as number one spot to try while in Southern California! The down side: must say it does take a bit of time for them to get the food out & and you have to pay for extra ranch. But the food itself was absolutely incredible !! I was obsessed with the wings and the salad and the pizza! We ended up taking some of it home and it heated up great the next day in the air fryer! The pizza was gooey and delicious and thin crust ! I came last year and this place kept popping up on my feed. So I asked my daughter to take me. She wants close to the San Pedro one and we went. Did not like at all. BUT my fiancé asked me to try this one and I am glad he did. The pie was crisp and had the right amount of cheese. Came with a smoky garlic sauce and a garlicky ranch sauce. Both we delicious!! Comes with ranch. You must get the white garlic sauce. It's a yogurt garlic sauce similar to middle eastern yogurt garlic sauce. It is absolutely scrumptious to dip your pizza in. Thick and garlicky. We tried the black garlic sauce too but wasn't a fan. I thought it had a sweet molasses type taste while my friend thought it was a spicy taste. I've been to the RPV location before but this was my first time at the Carson location. This location is much larger - plenty of tables inside for dining and a few outside for outdoor dining. Plenty of parking in the lot right next to it called the Villagio, also street parking. Staff was friendly and courteous. There is a section with paper plates, cheese and red pepper. The Mexican coke hit the spot, glad they have that as an option here. We came in on a weekend right before the dinner rush and were able to get a table inside for dining. The ambiance is really family friendly and the restaurant is clean. This was a busy Halloween Friday evening & those employees were working fast to make orders. I was advised that my order is a 45min wait, so I made a run and returned within the 45min and my pizza was stored in a heat warmer with other pizza. The taste & quality I was not impressed at all. The pizza had no cheese pull, and was very dry. Not sure if it's because I ordered the meat lover, or if it's because it was a very busy night. Maybe I should have order to eat in the restaurant. We ordered our normal pie: pepperoni & pineapple's, and I must say they did their thang. Ingredients were fresh, the crust was buttery, and ambiance and vibe was good. Great family location and quality. The crust had a great buttery taste to it, and the pie was cooked perfectly. Wasn't the normal NW pie, and wasn't the thin crust NY pie. The black garlic sauce lacked flavor to me. Nothing to rave about. The day I came I was packed so service wasn't the best. So if it's busy be prepared to wait. Was my go-to since the San Pedro days. Haven't been in 1/2 year or so and the pies were not up to standard. It was good at best, but not amazing like in the past. Crust wasn't quite right (did y'all change the recipe?), Margherita was dry, and Pepperoni oil seeped to bottom of crust making it greasy. I think I will forgo this location and give SP a try. The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because it's not my cup of tea and due to the smell of inside made it feel like everyone was inhaling smoke. It made me worry about the staff and kids inhaling that smoke. My pizza tasted like smoke. I've had brick oven pizza before and it didn't taste Smokey lol. The garlic sauce made the pizza even more delicious. It's a very long wait for pizza. But it's fresh so that's a plus. Everyone and their momma was here ordering. Seems that everyone loves this pizza. But I could never compare it to my number one which is Rosario's. I thought the bottom would have been crispier but it was a bit soggy. Only the ends of the pizza was nice and crispy. The place really does seem to need ventilation. Staff was very nice. This has been on my list forever! It's sort of far from me so I have not been able to knock it off my list. But, I was craving pizza one night and finally decided to knock it off my list. I ordered online for pick-up. Location was easy to find and plenty of street parking outside (I did come after the dinner rush, so it was pretty empty). I had to wait a few minutes for the pizza, but no big deal. Once I got the pizzas, I decided to race home and try it! lol. I got 2 pizzas, a pepperoni and a combo pizza that was supposed to have 4 different types of pizza. The pepperoni was really good. The combo one was decent but I was confused because there was only 2 types of pizza (maybe I didn't read the description right?). But, I thought both was just ok, but the pepperoni was the highlight. I also got the white sauce on the side, but thought it was a little on the sweet side, don't think I will more the sauce again. The wild boar Pepperoni pizza I was a bit disappointed. The crust was a bit tough to chew and the Pepperoni tasted like the sausages you'd get out of those cheese and cracker platters from safeway. The best pizza we had was a pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeño, and black garlic sauce, I asked for well done but no crunch on the bottom just the edges. The second pizza was a chicken, basil, sun dried tomatoes with a white sauce which was very bland and could not taste the white sauce and the dough had almost no flavor once again I asked for well done but no crunch at all. The wings were sub par no crunch to them super soft with little to no flavor. The sauces we ordered on the side kinda saved our experience to give flavor to our pizzas.
