I was really excited and had high hopes for the pizza place after all the reviews and Instagram videos. The service was great, the team is friendly, and welcoming. The ambiance is really family friendly and the restaurant is clean. This was a busy Halloween Friday evening & those employees were working fast to make orders. I was advised that my order is a 45min wait, so I made a run and returned within the 45min and my pizza was stored in a heat warmer with other pizza. The taste & quality I was not impressed at all. The pizza had no cheese pull, and was very dry. Not sure if it's because I ordered the meat lover, or if it's because it was a very busy night. Maybe I should have order to eat in the restaurant. Service is great! They are polite and helpful. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Small seating area inside and a nice seating area outside/patio. The pizza was great, cooked perfectly with good flavor, all ingredients are fresh and ratio on each slice is perfection! They have a great variety of toppings including beef pepperoni. The wings......meh! The wings actually have good flavor but they have a really thick layer of soggy skin.... but if you're into that sort of stuff you'll love them. Def not my jam! Was my go-to since the San Pedro days. Haven't been in 1/2 year or so and the pies were not up to standard. It was good at best, but not amazing like in the past. Crust wasn't quite right (did y'all change the recipe?), Margherita was dry, and Pepperoni oil seeped to bottom of crust making it greasy. I think I will forgo this location and give SP a try. Hope it's better. Maybe Lee Kim needs to return and oversee quality control? read more

Been seeing this on IG and the photos and videos are definitely eye catching. Pizza always comes out looking fresh,cheesy, and flavorful. We ordered our normal pie: pepperoni & pineapple's, and I must say they did their thang. Ingredients were fresh, the crust was buttery, and ambiance and vibe was good. Great family location and quality. The crust had a great buttery taste to it, and the pie was cooked perfectly. Wasn't the normal NW pie, and wasn't the thin crust NY pie. They definitely need more choices for beverages, as I would've liked to have enjoyed an iced tea. Will definitely be returning, as this place was definitely delicious. read more

Best pizza in Carson in my opinion, if you like the thin crust like I do. Love the Bianca pizza but we add chicken! Can't go wrong with chicken Caesar salad and calzones! The wings are ok but I wish they would let them toast up a tad bit more. We always put them in our convection oven on Broil for 8 min to get a better texture. Never a bad meal here!! The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because it's not my cup of tea and due to the smell of inside made it feel like everyone was inhaling smoke. It made me worry about the staff and kids inhaling that smoke. My pizza tasted like smoke. I've had brick oven pizza before and it didn't taste Smokey lol. The garlic sauce made the pizza even more delicious. It's a very long wait for pizza. But it's fresh so that's a plus. Everyone and their momma was here ordering. Seems that everyone loves this pizza. But I could never compare it to my number one which is Rosario's. I thought the bottom would have been crispier but it was a bit soggy. Only the ends of the pizza was nice and crispy. The place really does seem to need ventilation. Staff was very nice. Came to check out the pizza and wings on a Sunday! I kept it basic with a pepperoni pizza, which was delicious. Crust was crispy and cooked well, sauce was delicious and flavorful, pepperoni was crispy and salty, all flavors and textures combined to execute my pizza craving on a weekend. Wings were crispy and cooked and sauced well. Service was fast and efficient and the outdoor patio had umbrellas so I was able to catch some shade and a breeze. I was very disappointed with my overall experience as I waited almost a year to visit Burratino. The best pizza we had was a pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeño, and black garlic sauce, I asked for well done but no crunch on the bottom just the edges. The second pizza was a chicken, basil, sun dried tomatoes with a white sauce which was very bland and could not taste the white sauce and the dough had almost no flavor once again I asked for well done but no crunch at all. The wings were sub par no crunch to them super soft with little to no flavor. The sauces we ordered on the side kinda saved our experience to give flavor to our pizzas. For the price point asked I expected a lot better tasting pizza and wings. Don't think it was worth the 20 mile trip and probably won't be back again. Overall service was OK. read more

The food is okay at best, but the customer service is absolutely horrible. This was an online order, and when I got there, there were about 8 teens working, just standing around, with zero customers in the place. No one acknowledged me for a long time. When they finally did, I was told, "Oh oops, we got your order mixed up," and that it would be another 1 hour and 45 minutes. For an online order. That is completely unacceptable. A complete waste of time, and not a single person seemed to care. read more

This has been on my list forever! It's sort of far from me so I have not been able to knock it off my list. But, I was craving pizza one night and finally decided to knock it off my list. I ordered online for pick-up. Location was easy to find and plenty of street parking outside (I did come after the dinner rush, so it was pretty empty). I had to wait a few minutes for the pizza, but no big deal. Once I got the pizzas, I decided to race home and try it! lol. I got 2 pizzas, a pepperoni and a combo pizza that was supposed to have 4 different types of pizza. The pepperoni was really good. The combo one was decent but I was confused because there was only 2 types of pizza (maybe I didn't read the description right?). But, I thought both was just ok, but the pepperoni was the highlight. I also got the white sauce on the side, but thought it was a little on the sweet side, don't think I will more the sauce again. Aside from that, I thought the pizza was a little too oily, but it's pizza so can't complain. I will probably be back for their pepperoni pizza. read more

Saw this place was close by and gave it a try. The calzone was pretty good, oredered with Pepperoni and extra cheese. Pretty greasy but the crust and flavor was good. The wild boar Pepperoni pizza I was a bit disappointed. The crust was a bit tough to chew and the Pepperoni tasted like the sausages you'd get out of those cheese and cracker platters from safeway. Service was pretty quick given they had a lot of customer when we went. Bit of a small seating arrangement inside but they also had outdoor seating, which is nice. The bathroom needed a good cleaning, was a bit gross. Overall, I'd come back for a calzone, but that's proabbly it. read more

Terrible experience. Ordered XL pizza, garlic bread and 2 cokes. I was told it's a 30 minute wait. We waited. Customers who came in after us get their food. 30 minutes later we ask where our food is. They bring me somebody else's food. I brought it back to them. No apologies from them. 35 minutes after we paid, we have to go back to ask them again where our food is. They ask for the name on our order. They tell me it was under another name. Still no apologies for their mistake. It's been 50 minutes since we ordered. Still no food. No apologies. Not a single word. Don't ever bother coming here. read more

I'll use 3 works to describe the quality of the seafood: FRESH, DELICIOUS, and MEATY. To summarize, the quality is amazing and the price is worth it. If you're not dining it, order it to go! They serve it on a foil pan so it's easy to transport and even reheat in the oven. The sauce is delicious, the spice isn't spicy at all (but my tolerance is pretty up there), and their service is amazing. Didn't see how long it took after placing the order but it couldn't have been more than 40 minutes. Unfortunately for us, we got some of them wrong. We tried to fix it thru Uber eats but obviously it wasn't their fault so I decided to call the restaurant directly. I couldn't get the name of the lady I spoke to on the phone, but I explained to her that we got 20 wings of the same flavor and were missing 10 more of a different flavor. She was super professional, friendly, and understanding of the situation! She asked me whether I wanted a refund or the wings we were missing, I told her we wanted our food lol She said okay and said she'd throw some extra fries in there for the inconvenience, of having to drive all the way there after ordering from Uber eats, saying that was the whole point of us ordering online, to save the drive!!!!! I told her she didn't need to do that but was thankful for her understanding! Got there and managed to speak with her, again I forgot to ask for her name but she was a Latina lady with braces, again, super friendly and professional, with a big smile on her face! She apologized again and said "I gave you 10 extra wings for a total of 20"! Point is, I understand anyone can make a mistake, but it takes someone really professional and mature to accept and try to amend those mistakes and take responsibility, and TRY TO FIND OR OFFER A SOLUTION! I will be ordering wings from this location from now on! We got Hawaiian, mild, and lemon pepper. Loved the Hawaiian flavor. Sweet but not overly sweet, lemon pepper was a bit too salty for me but everyone else loved them. The mild ones tasted like regular buffalo, yummy. Fries were good, and their ranch is super super yummy, creamy. And even though the wings had sauce of them, they were still crispy by the time they arrived. Abram walks over to one of the couples that arrived after us and asks what name they had listed on the waiting list and then walks them over to sit them. A few moments later, Angel returns and tells Abram that we'd arrived first but Abram shrugged and then they started whispering amongst themselves. We continued to wait for about ten minutes while Abram just stands around being completely useless. Abram never said a single word to us. Not an apology for the delay. Not a single acknowledgement. Abram kept looking up at the ceiling, perhaps praying to a deity that we disappear and leave. We opted to make Abram's prayer come true by leaving. Based on the tacky signage posted, it's easy to see why this has such a low rating. Avoid.

The quality just doesn't seem to be what it used to be. The greens were... okay. If it wasn't for the garlic Crystal hot sauce doing some heavy lifting, they would've been pretty hard to get through. They lacked the flavor and soul I've come to expect from a place with such a long-standing reputation. Now for the good news: the mac and cheese is still that girl. No matter what's changed, their mac and cheese remains firmly planted in my top 5 comfort food dishes. Creamy, cheesy, and exactly what I remember. Maybe this was an off day, maybe my expectations were too tied to memories, but this visit left me wishing for the R&R I grew up loving.

Parking was easy, and when we walked in, there was only one occupied table. Three employees were chatting in the back. We were greeted, but it felt more like, "What would you like?" than "Welcome in." No smile, no conversation, no thank you--just a transaction. After taking our order, the employee returned to chatting with coworkers. When our order was ready, our name was called, the halo-halo was placed on the counter, and that was the end of the interaction. As for the halo-halo itself, my partner rated it a 2/10. It was overwhelmingly sweet and overpriced for what we received. We were hoping for layers of flavor and nostalgia but got a sugar rush that could probably power a small city. As a business owner myself, I understand that customer service is one of the biggest drivers of customer retention. Great products can bring people in once, but great service brings them back. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on both. The good news? These issues are fixable. A little more warmth, engagement, and hospitality would go a long way. Until then, we'll continue our search for our next favorite halo-halo spot.
