I had a very uncomfortable experience at this store. Even after two other sales representatives had already asked if I needed help and I clearly said I was just browsing, another sales representative (older gentlemen with glasses) stepped in. He was right next to them and definitely heard the conversation, yet still proceeded to approach me. What made the situation worse is that he followed me throughout the entire store, which made me feel as though I was being watched or suspected of stealing. He asked me at least three separate times if I was looking for something specific, despite me repeatedly saying that I was just browsing. This behavior felt intrusive, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. Shopping should not feel stressful or accusatory. Because of this experience, I will never be returning to this store. I bought a pair of Burberry glasses from Sunglass Hut, had the idea of using a Burberry bag as the gift bag so ran to Burberry before they closed, very nicely asked the store clerk if I could even purchase a bag (just a regular retail bag, aka 0 dollars to her), she said NO. I said nicely again, it's for a VALENTINES GIFT AND I HAVE A BURBERRY PRODUCT :). She said no you have to buy something from the store to get a Burberry bag. Burberrry closed early because they sent someone home. I arrived at 6:10, ready to make a exchange on a purchase I had made online. The people inside watched me stand outside waiting to speak to someone. They started and continued to close the register. After 15 mins of waiting outside they came to speak with me saying that they closed early because they sent someone home early. They then said they couldn't help me make a exchange because they closed their register already. If they had helped me when they saw me instead of trying to close the register we could have gotten everything resolved. The store is supposed to close at 7:00. Burberry's sales must be low at this location due to incompetent employees. I won't be buying Burberry anymore with this type of service. read more

I love Burberry. I never had any issues with them. They always treat me well. Although I show up in sweats, they always treat me right. I got my scarf here and I love it! I gone there a couple of times just to look and never had issues. Same with other Burberry stores. I had problems with other high end stores and I'm guessing is based how I look? Horrible customer service. So items on sale have a 14 days to return. I got a gift for Christmas from this store that is big so just wanted to exchange NOT RETURN. Sales Person very well trained in reading the fine print she pointed to the 14 days and went on reading it. They should understand that when it's the holidays and people get gifts sometimes they don't fit and u need a different size regardless if it was a sale or full price. And I14 days during the holidays is not enough time. I understand there is rules and we follow but that's why you put a manager to assist in these situations and override them when needed. I remember my first time coming here for a Burberry Polo. The sale associate was very nice. I wanted a muscle fit black Burberry Polo, which they didn't have my size on display/shelf. The associate then goes to the back to to see if they have it in stock back there. Sadly, I wear XS which they did not have the black one in stock at the time. Therefore I had to go with the white one. I tried it on, it fit great decide to get it. The associate warn me about how it's going to shrink if I wash them and making sure that was the size I wanted. I said yes, I'll take my chances. In my head I'm thinking damn that's a hundred buck gone to waste if it did shrink...oh well. Anyways, After explaining that to me he decide to take another white shirt with the same size, lay it out onto the light and let me pick. First, I was thinking uhh what the...? He said usually people just give you the shirt and you go pay right? I'm like uh huh... He said "well, you're spending a hundred dollars on a shirt so I want you to have a nicest one." little do I know, the two white polos look white in dim light but when in bright light one of them is kinda faded creamy color! I was Shock! I'm like oh no... Burberry, how could you?? haha I was just surprised and thanks him for the great service. Oh and my Burberry didn't shrink! It just got looser... I've walked into this store a few times and here are my observations: -NO runway collections - Prorsum line is only available @ Beverly Hills and online. -Limited menswear collection - this store mainly has women's accessories and clothing, but menswear is limited to a few shirts in only a few sizes. They keep offering to ship it to me, but still, I rather just have it shipped to my house from burberry.com (Burberry.com sends merchandise in awesome gift wrapping as well) But the biggest thing of all is that they treat me differently when I wear my Burberry check shirts/polos than when I don't. I understand stores want to keep their clientele, but treating me nicely ONLY when I'm wearing those oversized tartan check shirts is RIDICULOUS and is OFFENSIVE to me. I NEVER receive a greeting when I'm wearing my other clothes, but all of a sudden, they see the shirt I bought from them, and they're all super friendly. Shallow salespeople...Go to Beverly Hills.. way nicer, same prices for the same merchandise, but the salespeople don't treat you any worse if you're not wearing their clothing. read more

In this economy, customers do not need to buy from a particular retailer. Stores are all struggling and sales people are all competing (survival of the fittest). I highly recommend this location as this Burberry store is fantastic. Staff is professional and really helpful with the fittings. My old SA here left but Kamira and the manager provided me with great customer service. I'm in the process of updating my wardrobe, and finding the right pieces can be a pain since I am one who hates shopping for hours. I knew which items I wanted, and Kamira showed me all the color options in my size in one go, making the experience quick and painless. I also appreciate that they didn't guilt/pressure me into buying anything, and made sure I was happy with what I had chosen. The clothes are indeed pricey, but Burberry tailoring is always exceptional, especially their coats. I will definitely be back. read more

This message is being written while I am out of town shopping at another location in Tampa Bay Florida. I like Burberry wallets and I am getting into their back packs and messenger bags. My wife also likes their totes and various bag designs. At this particular location my wife and I came in for a particular tote bag that wasn't being featured online any more. We stopped by and picked out the one she wanted. Knowing the prices you know this isn't a 2 dollar item. With this being said my wife was being asked for her ID with the credit card purchase. (Side note) we get more points on her cards then mine. It didn't matter, they would not allow us to use our credit card because the back of the card said "see id" and was not signed by her. Because of this the sales associate would not continue the transaction. They did however offer to have us call them from outside the store to place a "phone order" so they would not have to check for the signature. They would then ship it to us for free. Really?!?! We decided not to shop at that location again and went to another location in the Los Angeles area and got the bag and our continued business with no hassle about the card needing to be signed on the back of the card. They asked for id and kept it at that. Way to lose a sale Topanga Canyon Burberry!!! read more

This store has the most courteous, awesome costumer service that we had the pleasure of experiencing. It started out like this: we bought a Burberry diamond quilt jacket at Macy's New York, since they have a Burberry shop inside Macy's. My wife changed her mind and we decided to see if we can return a day refund the jacket. Katherine and Derek was very helpful. They were able to accommodate us and can do a store credit only but not refund to the Macy's card which we charged it on because it didn't have a visa or MasterCard logo. Katherine went out of her way and called the Macy's in topanga to see of they can accommodate us. Don't buy here! If there's less than 1 star, I'd choose that. I seldom write a review, moreover a bad review! I am a busy mother of 3. But what happened yesterday prompted me to do this. First, I was greeted by the salesperson, who I believe, was Ryan Cox. Since I was in a hurry that time, I picked a bag a liked (took me only 5-10 minutes.) While waiting for the salesman to bring a new one bag from the back, which took long (another 10 mins), another lady who I believe is the manager, was was walking around where I was (without a single smile and without looking directly at me) like I'm going to take or do something! What happened when Ryan came back took even much longer(15-20 mins.) I handed over my card, but I realized I didn't have my ID, with me. They said that it's their policy to have an ID, which I understand and I was okay to leave. But the salesperson, Ryan, thought we could do other ways, like using debit card or having them buy it online for me so I don't have to show my ID. I said okay. He then asked me to type my burberry.com user and password since I have an account already as I brought one bag before (but returned it coz I didn't like it.) At this time, without hi or hello, the manager walked to me and the salesperson saying that since I only have one history of purchase, I need to come back with an ID. At that point, I felt like I was forcing them to sell the bag to me!! I said I don't go frequently at this area and that I can just buy it myself online. Then she asked me again if I have picture at the back of my American express card and if I have other cards in my name(all of which was shown to them prior this.) All of a sudden, she said she's going to make an exception for me and would let me buy the bag. At that point (after around 40 minutes), I have had enough! I said I'll think it over and left! The manager's behavior was condescending and I've never felt very little. First, there was no greeting at all. Then she was looking around where I was like I'm going to take or do something. I don't think my case is an isolated one. I've read another review here, pertaining to how they not greet customer if he/she is not wearing his burberry shirts. The manager acted like one of the salespersons in Julia Robert's "Pretty Woman" movie who was making her feel she can't afford to buy in that place.
