The Frisky Whisky had the tasty Jack Daniels sauce, the provolone a nice zing, the crispy onion straws just right - it was really good. Worked up quite an appetite at the Island Beach State Park and this place got good reviews and was on way home! CORN NUGGETS!!!! I've been craving corn nuggets for years!!! They are so hard to find! Well...they have them and they are delicious! My mouth is watering just as I type this! Pricey, but totally worth it!! I had the Texas Cowboy Burger (Fresh Angus Beef, Golden Onion Ring, Applewood Bacon, BBQ Sauce, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce & Tomatoes). It was huge but very tasty! Couldn't believe I could open my mouth that wide! Cooked to my liking and the bacon nice and crispy. The burger could have been a little more juicy! Milkshakes are DA BOMB! So flavorful! I found that a bit high for this area. The place is eat-in and take out. It seemed quite steady. They have 12 different types of fries from boardwalk fries sweet potato fries ranging from $2.49 to $6.49. They have daily specials Mon-Thurs. Wings and salad are also served. They will bring the food to your table because you pick up a number at the counter when you order. The place is nicely decorated. Bathrooms are small but clean. Feel free to disagree with me but the place did not knock my socks off. Half a liter water was $1.50 a tad high. They say their milk shakes are great. Where should I start. Visited this place based on reviews. Approached counter and received the driest "How can I help you" without a smile. Automatically customer service wasn't good at all! Ordered 2 burgers, 2 shakes, 2 drinks and fries and it came up to $60!!!! This was insane! Received the burgers and it was so bland! Taste like zero seasoning. This place was overrated for sure. Well worth the wait! I've been wanting to eat here for quite some time! 45 min wait for food but well worth it. Came here with the family since they offer outdoor dining. We ordered burgers, kids had the crispy original chicken sandwich must've been good because they didn't complain. Burgers were good I had a bacon cheeseburger husband had the Tex mex burger ( a lot going on in that burger) I myself like to taste a burger not loads of toppings .We all loved their old bay crab fries they were a hit! Living in the area for almost 3 yrs, we've frequented Burger 25 a few times. I'll start with my biggest dislike, the buns. They're good, tasty and always fresh, but damn are they dense and heavy. God bless anyone who eats a burger w the bun, I haven't been able to. You walk in to the area where you order, they have a chalkboard with all their specialty burgers listed, beef, turkey, veggie, chicken sandwiches topped with Philly cheese, bbq, bacon, eggs etc etc etc. just about every combo you could imagine. You order and pay at the counter, they give you a # and you sit at a table. About 15 min later, a server brings your food to the table. The food is always good and fresh. Fries and other sides are always good as well. They have a garlic ranch dip for the sweet potato fries which is amazing. They also make a bunch of different ice cream shakes which I'm always too full to try. All in, Burger 25 has an awesome selection, quality ingredients, service is great and the place seems clean. We ordered on line tonight for a delivery. When the estimated delivery time came & went with no food, I called them. They told me that the food had not yet been picked up by DoorDash (I didn't order on DoorDash) & that they had no idea when the food would be delivered. I asked them to cancel the order since the food would be cold when it arrived & was told that it would be kept warm. They can't cancel the order - you have to cancel through DoorDash even if you didn't order through them! As I was cancelling the order, Burger 25 called back & told me that the order was being picked up. I foolishly didn't cancel the order. It arrived about 15 minutes later. All the food was cold. the fries were inedible. I will never order from them again. read more
