Burger 3000 in Chatsworth is a solid neighborhood burger spot that gets a lot right and just needs a few tweaks to really hit its stride. We ordered the Odyssey Combo -- a double burger, fries, and a drink for $20 -- and the Oreo Moon Shake at $8.99. The burger itself was good, the cheese was delicious and melted perfectly, and the sauce does a solid job of mimicking In-N-Out's spread -- if you're a fan of that sauce you're going to love this one. The patty could stand to be a bit crispier on the outside and both the burger and fries needed a touch more salt to really pop. The fries were crispy and honestly tasted better than most places in the area -- they just need that seasoning bump to take them over the top. The Oreo Moon Shake was delicious -- rich and creamy and tasting like a real milkshake -- though at $8.99 it felt a bit pricey for the setting. The vibe is nice and the service was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a covered patio which is a great setup, but the Valley heat makes it extremely uncomfortable to sit in -- a few fans would go a very long way and make this spot a lot more enjoyable during the warmer months.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is easy with 7 or 8 spots right there. We're in a golden age of burger competition right now. Smashburgers are everywhere and the bar has never been higher -- spots are popping up constantly and each one needs a real reason to stand out. Burger 3000 is a good choice if you're already in the area and craving a burger, but in a crowded field it needs to sharpen its edges -- better seasoning, a cooler patio, and a little more wow factor -- to become a destination worth seeking out specifically.

Came in for a late night bite with a few friends. Hot or Not? Sig OK Burger: 3/5 bites --Thin Wagyu smash patties(2), cheese, rocket sauce, grilled onions, pickle in between the buns. We love a good smashburger, this was salty.($14) Onion Rings: Crispy, but salty. ($8) Oreo Moonshake: oreo shake, whip and cookie crumbs on top, nice and thick. ($8) Preferred the Hot Rocket sauce over the regular. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Galactic Ambiance, suits the theme. Outdoor seating, picnic benches.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great, order at one window, pick up at the other by the seating. Water cups available as well.

I have been here a few times now. Also been to their Noho locations. I tried their regular smash burgers, space jam, spicy chicken sandwich, triple spicy chicken sandwich, beast fries and onion rings. I like their space jam burger and their chicken sandwiches. I dig the space jam sauce. I like the mixture of sweet, spicy, savory and some kimchi in the chicken sandwiches as well. It gets a minus star for being a bit small. All the burgers are on the smaller side, the spicy chicken sandwich comes with two tenders and the triple comes with three. The tenders are on the smaller side compared to other chicken shops. Didn't really enjoy the beast fries as the fries seem overcooked. It was kinda hard. Same with the onion rings. I like nice and crispy but the fries and onion rings never hit the mark.

Damn this is the best burger I've ever had. The cheddar sauce with the beef bacon jam isn't super sweet at all! I added pickled jalapeños! I'm not a fan of Swiss cheese but the Double Oklahoma Wagyu is delicious! The guy who took our order was super nice and even offered to arm wrestle and pay for our meals! [[HIGHLIGHT]]You eat outside under fans and in the shade![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They even have a sink outside to wash your hands![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is super friendly! This is one of the best Smashburger I've had! The burger was very tasty, fries were crispy. I will be nitpicky, the buns could be a little bit bigger. But overall, the food was great! The workers were very nice. Idk but this time around my food was not served with the usual fun boxes that this place used to have??? Also I was given a number instead of the buzzer. Budget cuts?... Also, took a little longer this time around for my burger and onion rings to come out. The crispy edges of the burger this time were overly done-crispy burnt. Not sure what the downfall was here but it was useful to have a box in case I had food to take back home, in this case I took back home some onion rings.

Burgers are delicious. Patties have crispy edges and are still juicy and tasty. Fries are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and dusted to perfection with seasoning. Sauce perfectly binds all of the unique flavors and will make your taste buds dance with joy. Highly recommended. You'll be glad you tried it.

It's closer to a 3.5 stars but rounding down. My recent visit was due to convenience as I was nearby after shopping at Topanga Social and the raving reviews. Who doesn't love a good smash burger? We ordered the Double Oklahoma, Space Jam and seasoned fries. Very causal vibe, there's no public restroom (huge downfall), no indoor seating either. Everything is outside with picnic style benches, plus a TV, trash can and a faucet to wash up. It's a very small setup. The burgers are served on Hawaiian buns and you can imagine the sizing. It was way smaller than expected. The photos look big online but it's because most are close up photos. The smash burgers are decent and I did enjoy the Double Oklahoma but for the price and portion, it did not feel worth it. My husband and I both left still hungry. The fries were well seasoned, which was a plus. It is fine to try once out of curiosity, but it does not justify a return visit. The price is hefty for what you get and you are honestly better off going to In n Out for a regular burger.

Went on Christmas Day Shoutout to the staff for slinging all those orders. Very blessed to have tried the Larry burger I was very scared originally from the reviews about Hawaiian bun and the burgers looking tiny but let me tell you this burger was anything but small. Very friendly customer service. Sometimes you can get great deals for this spot on DoorDash. I tend to crave eating here when it's later in the evening to be honest. Super delicious burgers, and I usually request for no pickles on them. Chewy, gooey, scrumptious. Sometimes you can have a long wait unfortunately. I enjoyed the seasoning on the fries. The sauce pairs well with both the burger and the fries. Hard to miss, especially with all the lights! I don't remember if there was a restroom. I like to eat this at the comfort of my own home so I do takeout.

Burger 3000 is fire! I'm normally not a fan of Hawaiian buns, but the way the burgers are crafted with them here is A+. We tried the Oklahoma spicy burger with avocado ~ the jalapeños mixed in with the beef are quite spicy, but they paired so well with the sweet buns. The avocado was fresh and vibrant and also helped balance out the spicy jalapeños and creamy, spicy sauce. The patties are thin and crispy, and don't leave you feeling at all heavy or bloated. We ordered take out, but the staff at the window were energetic and prompt. The location itself is in a lil corner next door to a 7-11, but the seating area is covered and has a fun outer space vibe with themed lights and design. Definitely a burger spot I'd come back to in the near future! I highly recommend!

Disappointed does not even cut it. Extremely upset! A few months ago my boyfriend and I noticed burger 3000 while driving down the street. They were set up on the corner before getting their little restaurant. We tried their food and automatically gave them 10/10. Their customer service was amazing, fast and friendly but today I got the opposite. I was able to go and see their new location. My boyfriend and I were stoke to see they got their own spot but our excitement quickly became disappointment. We got there at the window at 7pm. We ordered our food and immediately received poor service. The cashier was taking my order but also dealing with customers who were picking up their orders. This was very rude. We were told our order would be a 30 minute wait. 30 minutes for a burger?! Okay we waited because we love the food. 30 minutes became 35 minutes. My boyfriend went up to the window to check the status and the worker said "it will be about 3 minutes they are boxing it up." Okay so 3 minutes turned to 10 and next thing you know our 30 minute wait turned to almost an hour. I went up to check on our order again and the worker said they were almost done. So now I'm fuming. First you said it would take 3 more minutes but that was 10 minutes ago? Simply ridiculous. As I'm waiting for my food for almost an hour, all i see are online orders being fulfilled. Seemed like they were prioritizing the online orders rather than the orders of those who went directly to their restaurant. Safe to say i was very disappointed and will not be coming back again. Which is a disappointment because their food is good but not good enough to wait almost an hour for a burger and fries. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but they had several customers at their physical location waiting an hour or so for their food. Unacceptable! read more

Ummm that was great. Delicious burger and fries. I was immediately blown away by how much flavor the fries had. The burger is well proportioned, filling, but not too heavy. I feel bad giving this lower review since I came Friday the 13th for the free burger. Waited two hours for the line and another 40 minutes for it to be ready. Was a more expensive in n out burger basically. It was all outside so everyone was cold but they had a few of those heater things. We took our food to go since it was so cold. Just because of the price and lack of tomatoes and lettuce i don't think I'll come back unless someone else wants to come here. I don't think I would wait in line again for 2 hours for this burger. It's perfectly fine if you like smash burgers kind of small portion. Seasoned fries are incredibly salty, they should work on their seasoning blend. read more

Burger was really good but its a rip off. I got the Okhlahoma, 2 beef patties with sauce and cheese. In terms of size, its more of a slider than a burger. Definitely worth the wait. Came when there was a line, and it went pretty quick. Prices are very reasonable as well. They have a great system with buzzers... letting you know when your food is ready. Very big convenience in going back to your car and waiting, instead of hearing/waiting for your name. I definitely would go back to get double my original order. I've never had a smash burger before and this place did not disappoint! Wagu beef smash burgers are amazing and delicious. Everything (including fries) is made to order. The pricing isn't terrible (close to what you could spend at most burger places). Be prepared to wait though. They are a stand and only have like 3 people making food but it is totally worth the wait trust me. You will not be disappointed read more

I didn't know they finally had a brick and mortar location. I went to lunch with a friend and he mentioned he was stopping there so I was excited I would finally get to try it after following them on IG. Established in 2024.

Four friends with a dream to open the first-ever restaurant on the moon—and with just a few thousand dollars on a PayPal credit card—we started selling burgers on the streets of Reseda. Within 10 days, the waiting time was 1 hour, and after just a month, the line was stretching with a 2-hour wait. We knew we had to expand. On October 1st, we moved into our new brick-and-mortar location in Chatsworth. Every day, we’re getting closer to our goal, and we hope to start planning our first restaurant on the moon soon!

There's many taco spots in San Fernando Valley, but this is ranked pretty high up there however they didn't have any chairs or tables for you to sit down but you're able to sit in your car park in front of it. It's in the parking lot of the Vons market, but I do have to say these three employees did a fantastic job and moving the line through.

I wanted this to be amazing soooo bad, but it just wasn't, unfortunately. $22 for a double smash burger and the beast fries (fries, patty, cheese, sauce). The fries were what I expected them to be. Only the top layer is worth eating. The burger was just disappointing. As for the burger, the patties are paper thin. Yes, that's actually a double I posted. I can't imagine what a single is like. The bun was incredible small in comparison to the size of the patties as well. My bun happened to also be very dry and was not soft. It was actually crumbling apart. This is something that happens after u open a bag of buns and leave them out for a long time, even days, without switching to a fresh batch. All that aside, the flavor just wasn't there.
