Update on my previous review for Burger 3000. I had mentioned that the only con was that it was too far from us. Well, not anymore! They've now opened not just one, but two locations closer to our home, and we're so excited. Now we can visit more often to enjoy our favorite smash burger place. Also, I have to mention the meat quality, it's truly top-tier wagyu. It feels great after eating, not heavy or greasy like many other burgers. You can really tell the difference in quality. But not only that, they had ZERO beverages available. There is also anti-lgbtq slurs graffiti written in black marker on their yellow parking balustrades that has been there a very long time. Let's start by saying this is definitely the friendliest burger place I've ever been to. I started my telling the cashier that I was new and to explain some of the differences between the burgers as I didn't see any description on the menu. She had me wait for a moment and the owner Anthony promptly came out and explained to me all the different styles of burgers they offered. Food was ready in a very reasonable time I would say I didn't wait more than 5 minutes. Location is really cool and uniquely designed. Indoor seating would be nice but aside from that the food Flavor is incredible and this is definitely my new favorite smashburger spot and I will be coming back over and over again. I drove past this place so many times, and finally decided to stop. Of course... it had a really long line and you could see into the kitchen. They looked very very busy. very appreciative to hayle who double checked my order and made sure that we had everything that we needed. I want to start off by saying this place has been on my list for a while now after seeing it on my social media, I was super excited to try. I'll start by saying the staff is nice and welcoming and the outdoor patio is a good addition as well. Off first impression, I'm kind of confused as to why they appear to use what seems like AI for their branding & marketing... let's save the environment and hire real people for jobs! Trying to look past that and giving them a fair shot we still decided to eat here, the menu is a bit pricey for a food spot in The Valley; I get that it's Wagyu so that's reasonable but the pricing for the sides like fries & etc. is absurd, why is it almost $8?! The truffle fries were really overly and heavily salted unfortunately, they would have been good if they had used actual truffle oil/truffle instead of truffle salt. For the branding to say "Take a bite into the future" the menu seems a bit uninspired and outdated, I wish they focused more on taste & quality rather than marketing creativity. The ranch is a bit thicker so if you like your ranch a bit on the runnier side beware but regardless it's surprisingly pretty good! We also got their secret Hot Rocket sauce, it just tasted like thousand island or In & Out spread so you're not missing out on much. Not sure if I'd come here again unless improvements are made. This was a really good burger and a great spot. The packaging was super cute and the customer service was 10/10. Burger was pretty good and so were the cheese fries. My favorite thing about this place is the hours. I'm out pretty late most days and then if I need to get food have to subject myself to McDonald's or something awful. The fact that they are open so late during the week and weekends is the best. I'll definitely stop by here before I head into a late night McDonald's/Jack in the crack run. It's not the best smash burger I've had but it's really good. The Australian wagyu patties is definitely a draw that gets people in, but I've eaten a lot of wagyu and also cook, you'd have no clue this is Wagyu. And that's not their fault necessarily. Anytime you're smashing meat that thin all the juice and fat is going to run out so you can't really tell it's Wagyu at all. It's a really good spot and a good burger overall. read more
