Okay... I didn't expect a burger joint to emotionally change my Tuesday, but Burger 3000 really said "hold my spatula." First bite and I legit paused like I was in a food commercial. The patty was juicy, the bun somehow soft and toasted at the same time (how??), and whatever wizardry they're doing with the sauce should probably be studied by science. Also shoutout to the staff who were ridiculously nice without doing that fake-over-the-top thing. Felt more like pulling up to a friend's cookout than ordering at a counter. Pro tip: come hungry and bring napkins. This is not a polite burger. This is a lean forward, elbows on the table, life-is-good burger. 10/10 would absolutely destroy another one. read more

What a horrible dinner!!! We've been coming to this location since they opened. Even visited the stand on Saticoy/Tampa. And have always been throughly impressed with their food and service. That all changed this evening. We placed our order at the window. Three cosmos kids packs and a double w/onion rings. We tried to order 2 bottled Cokes, but were told they were online orders only. Even though we have ordered them in the past from the window. Here is the breakdown of the cosmos packs: 1. Pickles and cheese 2. Cheese, pickles, onion, and mustard and 3. Pickles, cheese, and secret sauce. We ended up with (in the same order as before): 1. Cheese, pickles, secret sauce, raw French fries on a toasted ice cold bun 2. Cheese, onion, pickles on a toasted ice cold bun (don't have mustard) 3. As ordered on a toasted ice cold bun. The double came with 5, I repeat 5 onion rings for $7.59!!!!! And the advertised toy in the cosmos pack were all gone, but no discount or anything. And to top the whole thing off, we had $15 rewards from our points. Told the lady taking the order, she stated we could add it at the end. But no, we didn't get to use them because you have to do it through the app. Nothing is stated on their menu board, nothing on the app. How is a customer supposed to know this!!! The guys running this spot are super cool, very humble, hard working and very hospitable. I've been seeing this spot all over instagram and also saw it on Yelp.  My son really wanted to try this so we decided to give it a try. We came here on a Friday evening around 430pm thankfully there wasn't a line and we were able to order right away. My son got the burger plain with seasoned fries, I got the double with everything on it plus seasoned fries. The guys who run this joint gave me a suggestion to try it Oklahoma style which is onions grilled into the burger this was good and definitely a first for me. My son and I both agree their burgers were really good and the seasoned fries are flavorful especially with their special sauce. The burgers were cooked just right and definitely will add jalapenos next time. I'm not a fan of the bun it's a little small for me but they said this is how it should be so you get more meat. I like the concept of the smash burger and I definitely would recommend them. Looking forward to coming again! read more

First of all, the guys here really are trying. They are friendly and inviting. I came here at 3:45pm on a Thursday. There was no one here but four or five of the guys, just hanging out and having themselves some burgers. I thought, if they eat what they sell, that's a good start, boy was I wrong! Since I was the only person walking up to their ordering table, I was greeted and asked if I've been here before, given suggestion to try their kimchi and bacon burger, and asked how I came about finding them. I ordered a regular hamburger, one of their suggested kimchi and bacon burger, and an order of seasoned fries. For $7 a burger, I was expecting it to be decent. For $7 (burger) + $2 (kimchi) and $2 (bacon), I expected it to be delicious. For $5 seasoned fries, I expected a decent size of fries. What did I get instead?!!?! $7 burger tasted like it should be $2.99! $11 specialty burger should be the $7! Fries should be $3 max. The buns were like buns you buy at the grocery store, the cheapest ones. The ones that are in a pack of 8 for like a buck or two. The meat. This is exactly what they did wrong. The meat was placed on a cold griddle, making the meat cook slowly, thus juicing it out. Then trying to get a sear while caramelizing the onions together, this dried out the meat and made the meat have a bloody taste instead. No sear, no nice edges on the meat. Just dried and disgusting flavor. The buns were not even warmed up or anything. The buns are not the same as pictured neither. In the pictures, they look like some artisanal type or potato type. Nope! No butter on the buns? No toasting at all? Nothing. Just plain, cheap stuff. The fries are not the same too. In the pictures, they look like some regular fries, or perhaps the thicker type. What did I get? Some under-cooked, shoe string type. Soggy, oil drenched, but well-seasoned. Two stars for great service. Try as you please. Hope your experience will be better than mine. read more

Tried their double cheese burger today. The line was pretty long, but it went by quickly. One of the guy was really nice handing out free soda as we all waited in line. My two sons fell asleep in the car. They were all really wonderful about accommodating them even though they didn't wait in line. I got my husband the triple cheese burger with fries. The fries were a little on the soggy side. The bread needed to be grilled. Overall, the wagyu cheeseburgers were good but needed a better sauce or some grilled onions. read more

Burger 3000 really impressed me. I had the Space Jam and the Oklahoma Burger along with seasoned fries, onion rings, and an Oreo milkshake. Everything was on point. The Space Jam stood out. That sweet and savory mix with the jam and avocado just worked perfectly. The Oklahoma Burger was right up there too with the grilled onions, melted cheese, and soft bun all coming together in every bite. The fries were crispy, the onion rings were perfect, and the milkshake was exactly how I like it. Not too thick, easy to drink, and full of flavor. Friend and I were excited to try this place due to the reviews. Unfortunately neither of us see what the hype is. Friend paid extra for Swiss cheese - her order was missing Swiss cheese. I paid extra for grilled onions - please see picture for the amount of grilled onions in my burger. Ridiculous. We also waited just over 30 mins for our burgers. They told us it would take about 20-25 mins which I thought ok fine maybe it's worth the wait.. My burger was barely warm and my fries were basically cold. I don't know why I had to wait 30+ mins for my food and it wasn't even hot?! So how long was it sitting on the side before they decided to ring my buzzer? Can't believe my 30 mins barely warm burger and cold fries cost $18.60.. at least it tasted decent. They do have some tables and benches on the side which is nice. read more
