Eat there all the time. Great burgers but they have a whole menu of other foods they are equally as good.

This is our favorite burger place, but it's so much more. The variety on the menu board offers chicken, fish, dogs and more. Lots of different topping options too. The burgers are a fresh custom meat blend with patties made onsite. All the food and fries are a great value and the staff there is super friendly, responsive and accommodating. A few weeks ago, I was visiting Andrews, NC and came across this restaurant's FB page. There were politics all over it, with an accusation blaming the President AND the Democrats for the high price of bacon (among other things). I commented on that post that I thought it was unprofessional to post such things and was told by the owner to "move on." So, Democrats not welcome, apparently. If you're into Trumpism, this might be your place. If not, you might want to look elsewhere. I can't comment on their food because I didn't try it. I can vouch for the rudeness of the owner though. It's a shame because I thought Andrews, NC was a cute town but left with a bitter taste in my mouth and wondering if they are representative of this whole place. read more

We stopped here while staying in Andrews and this is EXACTLY how a burger should be cooked! Perfectly browned meat with melted cheese on top, and the side of crinkle fries really completed the meal. The burger was a loosely packed griddle cooked masterpiece. I had the firecracker burger which was really great. The fries for me however were the star of the meal. Hand cut and crispy they were wonderful to enjoy. All the workers there were very nice and paid attention to you when you are talking. The outside seating, under the big canopy was excellent. I know this is a burger place. But, I had had an EXCELLENT burger at another place the day before. So, I didn't want to set myself up for disappointment. That said, I had the fish dinner and it was good. The catfish fillets were good. The hush puppies weren't spicy, but they had a good flavor, as did the fries. Not the best food in the world, but it was filling and good. I'd eat there again, if I were in the area. read more

This place needs some work. the building feels like it is going to fall down around you any minute. your feet stick to the floor. Smells a bit off. The tables have the person that ate before you where there's smeared mayonnaise. The woman that took our order was very friendly. The food is 1. below average and 2. WAY overpriced. burger comes with no fries, have to order them separate, drinks too. whoever heard of a burger place that didn't have a combo? total for burger fries and a drink was over $11. The bun was stale and crumbly, same with everything, just a bit off. wife ordered the chicken finger "dinner" which consisted of chicken fries and bread. The total for 2 for lunch-$27. Not even close to being worth it. Hardees is right down the street, 10 times better. I think this is the best burger I've ever had. Awesome flavor. No frills, just a regular ol' burger. The fries are freshly cut (you can hear them cutting behind the wall) and are perfect. One of the best burgers I have ever had. I would line this up with Sean Brock's Husk burger and say it would possibly surpass it. It was juicy, smoky, and big. Visited for the weekend to live some cabin life and hike a bit of the Appalachian Trail. We stopped here on our way in to grab a bite. The staff were very hospitable. The four of us each went for the Jr Cheeseburger and shoestring fries. I'm a stickler when it comes to burgers, and as far as diner-style griddled burgers go this was one of the best. We eat here every week as a special treat with our grandkids. Burger Basket offers chicken finger and burger meals for kids and they come with a free drink. The burgers are the best in the county, hand-patted and made from pure Angus beef. The chicken fingers are also fresh, not frozen, and delicious, especially with their homemade ranch dressing for dipping. They have a variety of fries options and onion rings, but I highly recommend their hand cut house fries. We've never had a bad experience here and the owners make sure to keep everyone satisfied.
