Burger Factory is the best. There's street parking right out front, but there's also a little parking lot right next to the shop. There's a window you place your order at, they give you a pager & once that beeps, you pick your order up at another window. There are a few tables/benches outside, but I typically just see people take their orders to-go. All the times we've come here, we've had great customer service. It's a family business - the owners are super friendly & accommodating. My go-to here is always the chicken teriyaki & my husband typically orders the french roll cheeseburger (forgot to take a picture of it). The chicken teriyaki is served with rice, a side salad & potato salad. We've tried a handful of their items here as well & have always been satisfied. Definitely come check this local place out! But after waiting over 20 minutes for a sandwich I thought I was going to have a nice juicy chicken sandwich..... but this chicken is sliced thinner than a pickle chip. Well.. luckily I had a lot of time because it took close to half an hour for a simple order around lunch time. We ordered 2 burgers,fries and drinks which didn't do enough to justify the wait. Don't drive too fast, otherwise you'll miss eating the best teriyaki chicken and burgers in town. Hands down to their teriyaki chicken bowl, it's sooooo good, I should have added extra chicken and teriyaki sauce. The combination of the chicken, rice, and sauce makes you drool. I have tried so many teriyaki places, their teriyaki chicken is a must-try item. It came with green salad, macaroni salad, rice, lots of chicken :P"". My other favorite item on the menu is the 1/4lb cheeseburger meal combo with Bacon, I felt like I hit the jackpot when I got the burger and fries. It came with lettuce, thinly sliced onions, tomatoes, and you could taste the premium quality of the bacon. They give a very generous amount of fries and the price is so cheap compared to the burger places in San Jose. There's outdoor dinning if you want enjoy your food fresh and hot. I would not come here again! I love burgers; from LA, Santa Cruz, San Jose, Gilroy, Los Banos. This place is the worst out of all the burgers places I have ever tried. Why? Cons: - Happy Meal Size Fries - Burger was tasteless! No seasoning or anything used or very little. - Burger is small; bread is a bit dry. They use a cheap bread brand. I seen the packaging. - Fries didn't have much flavor either! Tasted like they needed to change the oil. Overcooked. And fries seem to be inconsistent. Some pics they are one way and in others they are another way!? -Burger had No Sauce - like a thousand island sauce. -They give you a can soda as your drink. -No thousand island dressing even on the side. -Price: $11.96 ( pricey for what you get) -They take really long to make your order; so beware if there are people ahead of you or you only have an hour lunch. Pro: - Soda was cold. - Food was warm/ hot. - They surprising didn't charge me for ranch. I would not come back here. Told friends and coworkers about it and they won't be trying it either. So many other burger places that was way better that are not so cheap/ stingy/ penny pinching just have to make a drive. Well I hadn't been here in a while let me tell you the food has gone down hill Best way I can put it is a burger that has been sitting under a heat lamp all day at your nearest roach coach. Didn't take long after eating it which I didn't even finish. When my stomach started turning I've officially gotten food poisoning throwing up diarrhea and head ache all night long still ongoing had to pull over to take a dump on my way to work who does that ‍. This place is really straight forward. It's a shack by the train tracks that makes fresh moderately quick food. I came here with some coworkers and I got the Super Hut Burger. It had two beef patties and no cheese, that's an extra 20 cents. We had to wait a tiny bit since everything is made to order. The burger came out hot and pretty thick. The bites were substantial with the fixings. The patties themselves were a tad too done for my liking, but I prefer that over getting food poisoning. There was a lot of onions on it, which I didn't mind at all, but I would be burping it up for the rest of the day. The bun was lightly toasted which I liked. My coworkers gave me some of their fries and they were hot and crispy. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and I honestly love the smell of hamburgers and French fries from this place. People really like Burger Factory and I can see why. Honestly, I don't really have a preference to mom and pop places over chains. I could eat this or Burger King. Honestly got worse. When I first moved to hollister 9 months ago I loved this place. Recently the quality and portion has gone down hill. I loved the mac salad and now they replaced it with this weird tasting salad. And when I would order the teriyaki plate they would give me a good portion of meat and rice and they didn't skimp out on the sauce. But now I have more rice than meat and barely any teriyaki sauce. This tiny and very clean restaurant has an extensive menu that I haven't explored fully. Hard to believe all of that food comes out of that tiny kiosk restaurant. KEEP DRIVING!!! DO NOT STOP TO EAT HERE!!! My husband and I are new residents to Hollister and we would drive by this place all the time and always wanted to try it. So yesterday evening we finally stopped to try it. My husband got the double burger, added bacon and upgraded his meal to a combo and I got the BLT with extra bacon. Tell my why for 2 sandwiches plus one combo our total came out to $30.31??? My husband went back up to the counter to try and get a clarification on why our order was so expensive, but they totally ignored him and went to help the next couple that walked up to the window!!!! So we finally get our order, and as I am grabbing our bag, I tols the guy that I had a question about our order, he completely blew me off and told me rudely, "Hold on, I am going to get someone to help you" and walked away. I knew he had to have been the owner of the joint, but he didnt want to help because he knew I was going to complain about the order. I just walked away and we went back into the car to eat! We open our bag and the fry bag was HALF FULL, not even filled to the top, a can soda (that was the combo) and when I opened up my BLT to take a bite, I didnt see the extra bacon that I ordered. These people straight up took two slices of bacon and ripped them in half and put 4 half slices of bacon in my BLT!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Anyway, I was going to go complain, but my husband said dont worry about it that they lost our business! I dont know if it was because we went at the end of the day and they were low on food, but if they didnt have the extra bacon, they should have said something instead of still charging me for bacon and taking my money!!! Anyway, my husband and I were NOT IMPRESSED WITH THIS PLACE AT ALL... We love to support small businesses, but If you are really looking for a good burger spot, Super Burger in Gilroy is the place to go!
