I'm not sure what it is about chain fast food stores on Broad River Rd & Bush River Rd but they're hands down the best in Columbia. This Burger King is fantastic. In a day and age where customer service is non-existent, this Burger King has employees that are friendly and helpful. The food both looked like the photos on the menu board ( as much as one would expect ) and tasted like I'd hoped it would. The maple bacon burger looked and tasted delicious! At 3pm the fries were hot & fresh and perfectly salty. Yes my order took a few minutes longer than if I'd popped in around lunch time but I was prepared for that. The restaurant was clean and bright ( I ate and ordered inside ). The only place in this review that I'd deduct points would be that they don't accept any deals shown in the app. The only real reason I stopped there was because my Walmart+ offer showed up for the ordering process. I was able to see the offer and select it but as soon as I checked out in the app the offer disappeared. Same with the Whopper Wednesday offer. Showed in the app as this was a Wednesday but could not get it to stay in my check out screen even though I had a 2nd non premium Whopper in my order. The lady at the counter said they don't honor app offers. I still ordered and enjoyed my meal. Please whoever the franchisee is, honor the offers in the future. I only eat fast food a few times a month and my budget for that is not more than $ 20. This order was $26 for a medium Maple Bacon Whooper combo, a single whopper, small drink and an order of 4 jalapeño poppers. I'd honestly pop in more often if that cost were closer to $15 or so bucks which the offers showing in the app would bring the cost down a lot. read more

Slow service and doesn't honor specials as advertised! They advertised a $3.99 whopper but refused to honor that Wednesday special.

A Indian family took over these BK At 2216 bush river rd and the difference is night and day to how it was specially with the previous crew, The place is clean employees are very friendly/polite and professional. The food is properly bag and it looks like it's supposed to. I hope the rest of the fast food restaurants follows this one. specially the one on Broad River Road off of exit 97. read more

Something not right with this restaurant. I've venture this place and 2 others, on in west Columbia and one in Irmo and all 3 have issues. They're always short staff and the ones there act like we owe them something. They could care less if we got our order or not. They are good for serving up attitude. Really wish there was a way to leave less than a star. Mimi who works there was exceptionally rude. Ordered fries and a hershey pie and was told to pull up and wait. Staff had their mask below their nose. Didn't complain about any of that and asked for ketchup. Was given the bag of items with no ketchup or napkins so asked for that and "mimi" just stomped off. Never in my life will I be at that burger king again. Was given about 8 fries total so complete waste of time and they had zero salt. I've never said this about a place, but if it were possible to give negative stars for this Burger King I would. Listen, it's Burger King , I get it. I'm not expecting high quality for a meal for 5 bucks. But this Burger King needs to just shut down. Today I tried this Burger King again for the sixth time. About once every month or two I try to them another chance NEVER again. First, it is slow! Like 20 minutes for a $hi@@y sandwich slow. The employees are awful. Rude, don't make eye contact. Literally the girl in the drive thru flung the window open and bucked her chest up aggressively at me while I didn't pull off immediately . Intimidated, I apologized for remaining at the window and explained she forgot my drink. She tossed it at me causing the lid to open and slosh the WRONG drink on my lap, rolled her eyes and slammed the window. I don't know what I did to upset her previously, I simply pulled up to the sign, placed a very simple order number one with cheese small size unsweetened tea. No special requests. Nothing. I only give it a two because the day shift is at least trying. Nightshift is truly revolting. The place was filthy. We ordered two chicken sandwich meals. The fries were so cold. The chicken sandwich was hard has cardboard and burnt. I would have returned and got my money back but no one would answer the phone and when we pulled back in the drive through lights were off. I promise the next time I go to that location I will video the whole transaction and the condition of the food and post it all over social media. She seems monotone and we were trying to order for both me and my boyfriend and he said a chicken nugget and all she told us the total when we weren't even ready. Okay, so I've been to this Burger King location a few times and it wasn't too awfully bad. But this time was ridiculous. We went through the drive through and had a coupon to use. Simple enough right? Guess not for them. When I gave the cashier the money I told her we'd be using that and a coupon. She stated that I would have to drive back around and she'd have to put the order in again. Getting frustrated I explained that my boyfriend had to be at work soon so we didn't have time for all that. She said again that she can't do it any other way. There was no one else in line. Why couldn't she just do it while we wait where we were at? She ends up getting the manager and she says the same thing and that it states on the coupon that that's how you have to do it. I told her honestly that I didn't know that. Like I have time to read all of the little print at the bottom? Really??? I told them we didn't have time again so just use the money we have and forget the coupon. I'm already so mad that I'm just ready to get it over and leave. This location really needs to be shut down or everyone needs to be replaced and start over fresh. They gave me such attitude on top of it being 7am, 32 degrees, my window acting up so I had to open my door and get out to talk to them and get the food, pay. And my poor baby in the back is getting cold and probably sick in the process. You guys should be extremely ashamed of yourselves! Can't help someone out for just a minute? Horrible people! Shocker, a fast food place that puts out crap! My grilled chicken sandwich and my co-worker's whopper both had mayonnaise on the outside of the bun. His cheese wasn't remotely melted, and my onion rings were small, old, and cold. It's not that I really expect more out of fast food, but it is sad that it is clear the employees don't give a $h!t about the food they are preparing. This Burger King is clean and some what friendly. But they are slow even in Non-peak hours, the food was over cooked, my fish sandwich was dry and tasteless and the fries were greasy and cold. After reading the reviews on this Burger King, I was a little leery of it. However, I was craving a Veggie Burger and my son wanted chicken fries, so I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The drive up window attendant was very polite and attentive. We did not wait long, and our order was correct, nice and hot, and very tasty! The attendant gave my son 2 honey mustards and made sure we did not need other condiments:) Overall, it was a great experience. Well, This is the worst review I hope I ever give. I have NEVER in my traveling career seen a worse ran fast food restaurant. First, the service, is simple, plain, non caring. My order of a hot dog and a cheeseburger took.......wait for it.....23 minutes....And I went straight to the counter as I entered. I should have took the hint that customers who ordered prior to me with the disgust in there eyes. A customer, that ordered after me somehow got her order of at least 3 whoopers got her order within 5 minutes. The customers who ordered prior to me after 20 minutes got a refund.....simple chaos ..for no reason.....Even worse, when I received the food it was cold and sickening.....not even good. ...Sadly, I have ordered here prior to this visit...and simply it's the same story. I went to the 2216 Bush River rd location at 9:00 at night on 10/16/17. i entered the store along with my step-mother. We ordered Two Whopper meals, and Chicken Nuggets. Our cups were given to us, but there wasn't any drinks in the machine and the drink station was sticky and wet. The manager of the shift was eating a burger behind the counter on the shift. I took pictures of the drink station and the Manger of the shift thought i was recording her. My food then came and the fries were cold. I complain and asked for them fresh the crew acted as if it not have it my way. The manager of the shift called the store manager whole told her too lock me in the store. My experience at this Burger King was awful. I went through the drive thru at 8:00 pm on 9/24. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and a large onion ring. The crispy chicken was so over done that it was so very dry and tough that I couldn't tell where the chicken was . It was all dry tough breaking. The large onion rings that I paid top dollar for were a couple of rings and breeding crumbs. Certainly worth what I paid for. It was disgusting. Won't order from Burger King ever again read more

I just ate the new chicken sandwich for the first time at BK. The sandwich looked like all of the advertisements I have seen on TV, but the texture and taste were different. The texture looked like processed chicken breast, and the taste was just a slight upgrade from their previous chicken sandwich. The new BK chicken sandwich does not taste as good as Chick Fil and McDs versions. BK need to reevaluate their new chicken sandwich because it is just not that good. read more
