Honestly the service is horrible the guy almost gave us the wrong meal. I understand that working fast food can be stressful because there are a lot of jerks in the world but this location was really bad.

IMPOSSIBLE WHOPPER REVIEW. The meatless burger does remarkably taste the same as a regular whopper. But it's only 30 fewer calories. Does not come with cheese so adding that negates the calorie savings. But at least you avoid the red meat if that matters to you. Overall a satisfactory veggie burger. I didn't do this but if I were to remove the patty from each one and tasted it side by side without the bun and condiments, there may have been a noticeable taste difference. But with all that factored in I think BK is onto something there is growing sector wanting meatless options and want to spend their money somewhere. Now if I can only say no to the milkshake. Haha. This BK location in Gainesville, VA is really modern, nice and clean. For 3 pm they still had a fulll crew working and were in clean matching uniforms. The non McDonald fast food restaurants often skimp I'm staffing, but not here. So I was actually impressed.

Yes, another Burger King review! This time it's the fairly new BK off of Linton Hall Road in Gainesville. I went in last Saturday morning for a quick breakfast before going out for a long day of furniture shopping. I ordered the #2 Breakfast combo - a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit, with hash rounds, and a small coffee. My order came up fairly quickly, but when I went to sit down to eat, I found that the cheese had been omitted from my sandwich. So I went back to the counter, politely pointed this out, and they made me a new one. I would have been happy if they had just slapped a piece of cheese on it and heated it up. As it turns out, the new sandwich was almost room temperature. The cheese did not melt at all. But at this point, I need to eat and get going or I would be late. Being as hungry as I was, I wolfed it down, the hash rounds and coffee were good. The biscuit was good too, just not the right temperature. While I was in the restaurant - some construction workers came in. One old guy had mud caked all over him - his workboots, pants, you name it. He did not even bother to try and clean himself off. He left a rather substantial trail of mud and detritus throughout the BK. Knowing that I have a weakness for BK, and now that I will be soon living in Haymarket, I am sure I will be back here many more times!

Poor service and dishonest. They always make you pull forward so their drive thru numbers look better, even when no one is behind you. They get orders wrong more than they get them right. They won't refund you when they get them wrong and tell you, "sorry no partial refunds" because you paid for the whole purchase on a credit card. What?? How does that make sense? Don't most people pay for their whole bill on a credit card with one transaction, maybe it's me...I didn't know I was supposed to be paying for each item on a separate transaction!!! SMH

Omg so many thoughts on this experience…read more I'm so glad i didn't immediately know it was a restaurant located in a hotel. This prob would have deterred me, even a little bit. The Apple map directions here confused me a little due to this, but parking was really plentiful so that's a huge plus! I went on a Sunday morning and lo and behold there was a hole farmers market or pop up set up all through haymarket! Busy weekend for a brunch but haymarket is SUCH a cute little vibe and town with so many hidden gems, like this one!! Literally every single item I saw waiters bring out from the kitchen looked so scrumptious, every person around us immediately began digging in and enjoying their meals...and honestly, no crumbs were left behind pretty much every time. We started ordering a yummy cocktail. I was really in the mood for the Paloma with grapefruit juice but sadly they were out of grapefruit juice fortunately, they had plenty cocktails available that were not explicitly on the menu! I ended up having a delicious espresso martini, prepared, right and honestly, I would have had another!! Not too sweet. Not creamy. And with 3 beans. Impeccable no notes. I ordered the red House breakfast. Man those home potatoes were so delicious....they clearly cooked them seasoned deliciously and then flash fried, so crunchy!!!! Amazing. I found that their execution on their meals was really impressive. My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly and paired so yummy with the toast. The bacon had delicious flavor too. I ordered a biscuit because I had heard that their biscuits were really yummy but unfortunately they did not have their bacon biscuit so it was just a classic biscuit. It was good, certainly dense and clearly homemade. My girlfriend got the poutine. Looked so delicious and was really enjoyed! The gravy was thick and flavorful! We sat down and enjoyed plenty of conversation and a really nice environment. Nobody rushed us, service was just the right amount of attentive without interrupting conversation constantly, and the floor to ceiling windows let in beautiful natural light and views of the town. It was the perfect brunch spot for a low-key, but delicious meal. Just a hair out of the way without being too far. I came out with a really good friend of mine to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with her and it was the perfect possible location. Shout out to the staff for being so welcoming and kind, and even taking a picture of us when we asked to commemorate the occasion. I'm sure they are used to people walking in to the hotel lobby looking as confused as I was looking for red House Tavern.

The food was average at best when it came out. Super disappointed. We came here for my mom's 5 year beating cancer anniversary and it wasn't much of a celebration.

Before going in, I read some Yelp reviews and they were on point. The ambiance is clean, decorated, inviting, with soft lighting. The cashier and cook were quiet but nice. Not shouting or overly excited to chat me up. He was soft spoken, cautiously shy, but nice. Once he realized that I was cool and knew what I wanted, his serious face softened and he opened up. The cook easily smiled. There's no music, just sizzling sounds from the grill. There's a funny message on the bathroom floor the sink needs updating and it needs a nice soap dispenser with quality soap. Other the that, the place is nice. Would be a spot to go on a date. The vibe is grown and sexy, not kiddish like other burger joints. So don't expect crayons on the table and high chairs. Now to the food. I ordered the Chicken Over Rice platter. They plated it quickly. It camed with fresh salad, pita bread, and a few French fries on top . They covered everything with their delicious white sauce. I asked to have the hot sauce on the side bcz I wasn't sure how hot it was. I like spicy but some hot sauces can ruin the dish. Their sauce wasn't too hot, but I'm glad I got it on the side. The chicken was moist, flavorful, well seasoned, marinated, and lightly grilled. Everything was fresh, moist, and piping hot. I could tell the meat was halal bcz it had a fresh chickeny taste. If you know, you know. I ordered extra pita bread. The platter comes with 2 pieces but the extra comes with 4. I'm so full! I took half my platter to go with 3/4 of the extra pita bread. I'll save it for dinner. The platters come with a full tray. If you come for lunch, you'll be stuffed probably sleepy like I am rn. Take the rest home. If you come here starving, you'll leave full and satisfied. I only paid $12 plus $1.50 for extra pita bread. That's a steal in this economy! I hope they don't increase the prices after reading this. I'll be back, inshallah . Thanks for the good lunch and chill energy.
