I'm sad to see the low reviews for this Burger King establishment because our experience here was pretty wonderful. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by an employee behind the register. That's never happened to us at any Burger King ANYWHERE. We ordered a small fry, bottled water, and the two sandwich deal for $6 (whopper and spicy chicken). Our bottled water was served to us first and then shortly later our food was ready. The employee serving us the food was different from the guy who gave us our bottled water so he had asked us if we had got our water because he did not want that missing from our order. WOW. Great customer service. We asked for ranch sauce and it was not a problem. We love this place! We ate in the restaurant and it was very comfortable. The place seemed clean and so did their bathrooms. So we visited this Burger King last night for dinner before my son's Cub Scout meeting at the church across the street. Unfortunately, it was an awful experience and it made us never want to go to Burger King again. Now for a say, anything else I do want to say that we felt really bad for the very nice two people that we're trying to run the restaurant last night. I think they were a bit overwhelmed and could've used a little more help. That said our food took forever and it was not very good. By the time our order was ready we had to shovel it down and run across the street to make the meeting on time. The food was cold and it was just not delicious. Normally, we love the impossible whopper, but not last night there were no pickles or tomatoes on the cold patties. May son got cookies with his kids meal and they just tasted old so we actually didn't let him eat them we threw them away and gave him a cookie when we got home. The french fries were the best part of the meal. I thought the onion rings were a little rough too. The dining room itself was very clean so I guess that's a bright spot. read more

I went there a couple times last summer, mostly ordered nuggets and fries, never warm enough and tasted rubbery. Then, one day I had fries and I had what I can only describe as an onion gone bad in batter and they made the fry anyway. I stopped going that summer. This summer I went three times. The first time I got a runny shake and fries. Not only that but I got a sore throat from it which I can only assume means the ice machine wasn't clean (I used to work at a smoothie shop). The second time I got an impossible burger and the patties were burnt. When I ordered today I waited half my lunch break to get my food, and when I did it absolutely ruined my stomach. Im usually never a picky person but this was blatantly awful. Im genuinely disgusted. read more

Pretty sure the fresh fry smell is like an angler fish tactic. Luring me in with that sweet, golden smell and then get hit with a burger that tasted like musty wax deep fried in thrice-recycled canola oil. The place was a deserted mess, too. High noon and the place had only a spattering of people. Like everyone in Golden already knows this place just, well... Suck. There is a deli nearby, if you are hungry, go there. Filthy space with sticky tables. The touch screen on the Coke machine in the dining room looks like it's crawling with disease. Most of the time there's only one or two employees on duty. I placed my order and at the end I pointed to the sign that said free ice cream cone for a child if you purchase anything and I pointed to the lady and said, can he have a free cone and you add a Hershey pie to my order, she instead charge me for a full-size cone no Hershey pie and when I went back and asked her, she said I said I wanted a cone I said no I didn't. I pointed right at your cone. I asked Hershey pie then she was charge me $1.99 more for the pie. The lady didn't speak English, which I if you're gonna work in the state of Colorado or spoken Frequently that she learned how to understand and speak English she made no compensation for anything and I and anybody else I know will not be going to this Burger King ever again read more

This is the worst fast food chain I've ever been to. They don't keep regular hours, their dining room is at times randomly closed during regular hours and they're routinely out of standard menu items and drinks. Not to mention, the amount of dried food and drink on the outside of their drive through window is utterly disgusting. I've given up on this place. read more

Never really follows any set time. It's either closed or it's open, you never know until you get there. Also, don't order on the app here. They're probably closed. When they are open, it's a normal Burger King though. Slightly dirtier than others are, but quality is what you'd expect. read more

Good place for a quick lunch. Clean both inside and out. The big king chicken was hot and fresh.

I had purchased a meal from here. If I could leave a zero star review, I would. The breakfast biscuits were not cooked, the sausage tasted like months old grease. The fountain drinks taste horrid and the cover for where the ice is dispensed looked as if it had not been cleaned in weeks. The only thing that tasted somewhat okay was their hash browns and coffee. For the lunch item, which was a whopper, the meat did not look not taste right either. The other ingredients did not taste very healthy either. Just horrible quality of food all around. I would not recommend this place. Not that fast food is healthy or a great choice. But there is a balance to that scale when it comes to quick consumable items. But that's why it's called fast food. It should hold up to better standards than this dirty place! Highly recommend Woody's Pizza in the area. Very trustworthy place! read more

I get an urge for junk food about once every 3 years. last night was the night. I went to the drive-through of this BK and asked for a shake and a large fry. I was told "sorry--I just cleaned by shake machine for the night. It was 8:01." They close at 9:30! So I just ordered the fries, paid and drove off. Reached into the bag and pulled one out and popped into my mouth. Hmmm...these fries have an after-taste of onion rings.. Could it be possible they used the same oil for both? A couple more digs in the bag later and I found the answer--there were 2 onion rings mixed in with the fries! Oh yeah--and there was no one else in the place, so it's not like they were screaming busy. You wouldn't think it would be possible to screw up such a simple order. read more

I was just at this Burger King and I asked for ex pickle on both cheese burgers and while I was at the window I asked if they had x pickles and he said yes and then I said r u sure and he said yes I made them myself. Next time I'm gonna sit in he drive thru and check even if there is 4-5 cars in line. What does extra pickle mean? They had 2 pickles on them. I would think x pickles means like 5-6 pickles if u wanna get more specific. I'm not happy with being lied to my face about it!!! Please don't lie to people if u know you didn't put extra. Instead say I'm sorry no let me get u some on the side. So u don't have to remake it or take longer when u have a line of cars. Or just make it right the first time to avoid the issue all together. This place is the most disgusting place I've ever been in. They allow homeless people live behind the restaurant in the fenced in area, and then one of the guys goes in and works in the kitchen with the food u are about to eat. I'm not against being homeless but when u don't even shower before going to work with food then we have a problem. And when you've been working long enough to at least get a motel room but u don't again a problem. For the company to just be ok with what's going on around there makes me wonder. I don't eat here as it is anymore but id like to help the rest of golden know what goes on here. The guys who live in the back have been leaving human waste all over the area and can still show face after doing so. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. read more

The employees force you to drive thru and park to wait for your food to meet their time quota. Fries are cold, onion rings over cooked, and the lobby tables are dirty. It's a shame because its the only one in my area, so now I just don't eat at Burger King anymore. read more

The Golden location has not had a milkshake machine for months and months now. When I ask when it will be fixed or repaired, I'm met with "I don't know." I have yet to get a drive thru order correct. I have to get my order, drive around front and park and check my order. Yesterday, I called the restaurant at 1:30 pm and it rang non-stop. Tried again a couple minutes later, same thing. Third time was a charm. I explained that we paid for two medium fries in my order and only received one. (First time I didn't inspect before driving home). I was told I only ordered one, but the amount paid doesn't match and of course I never was given my receipt. Then, the Ch'King patty was so hard, I couldn't take a bite without the whole thing coming out of the bun. I gave it to my dogs. When I did speak to a person, I asked for a credit to be put on file with my name for a next time purchase. I was told she couldn't do that and her manager would be in on Monday (today) and she would get my info and have her call me. It's now Monday, 1pm and no call. It occurs to me that with real estate being very precious in Golden, Colorado, this place won't be around much longer. Pressed for time, I dropped in - lured by images of Whoppers with the lettuce, full tomato slice - Ha! No one was in there and the music was blasting away. My burger: The bun broke up with the first bite, two small pieces of lettuce soaked in mayonnaise, a slimy inside piece of tomato, 3 pieces of pickle stacked together.
