Burger King needs to just go ahead and shut this one down too. It's sad. There are very view BK's left locally. The staff stood in the back and hear the drive thru window talking and it was 5 min before they "acknowledged " us . The cashier seemed irritated and didn't speak to us. I told him I wanted a whopper value meal( I didn't know I can't say Value) and he said we don't have that.. the menu is not lit up and is broken . I said you don't have a whopper meal he said Yeah .. so don't say "value" .. I understand that fast food in mostly teens . So was one of them. But there should be rules. Obviously there aren't. We were the only customers and the place is a wreck.. it's not cheap to eat out in this economy and they should be grateful they get business. But they do not. Every table was dirty. This store is horrible. They only had diet drinks and sweet tea and I got the sweet tea and it didn't even taste correct. Got to the window and payed and we had to wait 15-20 just for 2 burger and 2 fries and they had no one in the store. They just sat there and talked. Then I had asked for no onions on my burger and got onions and a handful of jalapeños. They were literally in a mountain in my bag. So I will start off with saying our order number was ticket 54 tonight and we visited around 6 00 pm originally and ordered 2 double whoppers with cheese one was a special order. The other was a douple cheese burger plain. This is just in case the franchise owner is reading this so they can know the exact staffing that night. Secondly, what we received was all singles and my double whopper special had ketchup and no onions. I order onions lettuce and pickles only. So I tried to call first and then after three unanswered calls finally headed back to the store. On the way we did get through to the manager kn shift and she listened to my complaint over the food. Asked me to return to the store and we can not enter this location of course due to covid so we had to get in the drive thru line once more. 35 minutes later a new bag arrived and everything was hot and fresh just as ordered except now we were informed they didn't have any onions. So while it wasn't a stellullar performance the first run... I have to give thumbs up to the quick resolution by an effective manager who didn't get angry at me but fixed the problem. Well I sat at the speaker for 5 minutes no one came on. So I walked inside, it took 5 min for one of their employees to look up from their phone and notice me. Still didn't get my order taken. They have kids playing in the kitchen, I guess they don't pay their employees enough to have childcare or to work. OK y'all. I tried the ChKing! And I ordered a deluxe which came with lettuce pickles tomatoes and I wanted onions too. So I paid for the deluxe which was for 529. And I go through the drive-through get my sandwich, and the only thing that's on his pickles and a whole bunch of weird sauce. I waited for about 10 minutes and the customer service was very bad. The sandwich itself tasted good.The portion itself is real small it didn't even stick outside of the bun. Was in the mood for a fish sandwich and wanted to try the new frozen lemonade drink. We did the drive through and ordered a fish sandwich, onion rings, frozen lemonade, and the 2 for $5 Whopper Jr's. Told that they don't have frozen drinks there and then asked what other drink we wanted. We said none. Wasn't sure if the speaker was horrible or if the person could not understand English. Had to pull forward and wait for quite a while for our food. Noticed the windows and floors were absolutely filthy.. health inspector missed that apparently. Got our food and went home. NO fish sandwich - got a chicken sandwich????, NO frozen lemonade, and instead of the 2 for $5 deal was given the $5 Whopper Jr meal with nuggets, fries.. and that's where the drink was supposed to be but not provided. We ordered 2 new spicy chicken sandwiches via Door Dash. Our Dasher arrived at the store and was informed that they were out of the spicy version. So we said, that's ok, we will have two of the non-spicy new chicken sandwich. The store sent her along with 2 of the original chicken sandwiches instead. So instead of receiving the new sandwich that all of America is saying is the best thing since sliced bread, we just received the horrible spongy deep fried chicken sandwich that I'm not sure anyone has actually ever liked! This Burger King location on Red Bank Road in Goose Creek is a well managed Burger King that is a good place to stop for a quick meal when you are in the area and hungry. I like the location and being able to get in and out easily. I like the fries here too. I have been happy with all of the orders that I have made from here. read more

Unbelievable! To have someone wait 10 minutes just to get lukewarm food is RIDICULOUS! Then to conveniently not answer the freaking phone. Most importantly intentionally not providing a receipt for the customer to compete the survey! You already know your service is subpar, therefore you hope without the receipt one would just drop it!!! Not!!! I found the 800 customer service to report this restaurant. Pretty standard BK when it comes to food, but the service here is "bipolar". I say the service for the staff here is "bipolar" because each visit here has been like night and day. A few times I've had the best service anywhere and a couple of times some of the worst service I've ever had. Not sure what's up with the staffing here. The King is dead. Long live the King. The last time I went into this Burger King could very well be my last time in the BK. The customer service or lack thereof was awful and I'm not one to normally leave negative reviews, but there were no customers inside and the drive-thru only had a couple of people yet my order took over 15 minutes. The general atmosphere was one of boredom and indifference and the young lady who took my order didn't apologize for the delay of my order. I have heard many bad reviews of this Burger King and most Burger Kings in Charleston in general. I'm one who doesn't believe everything they hear as I'd rather find out myself. This could be a successful business and restaurant if the employees acted as if they cared and provided faster service to their customers. I say this not to nitpick, but to provide constructive criticism as I think there is a coaching opportunity and teachable moment here for the staff. Do better. Be better. This place is never open. I'm at the naval base that's right next to this Burger King, and it's one of the only places that have vegan options (the impossible whopper), but they are not open. Not even sure this is a functioning business. We've gone probably 5 times now, twice at 20:something, once at 21:something, and twice at 22:something and they are never there. Does the place have someone in charge or do people just go home whenever they feel like? Either way, we stopped trying. No point hoping to get food from a place that seems shut down, despite what google says. We just drive up red bank to the next Burger King or go to Taco Bell, where there are also vegan options. Y'all need to check your cameras. Last night was awful. I'm Usually considerate and understanding. Thankful for hard workers who do their job but that's not the case here. I understand it's not the cleanest place to eat. Understand sometimes night shift people want to go home. But it's unacceptable to have workers smoking pot infront of restaurant- and once drive thru window was opened - it reaked of weed!!! Strongest odor I've ever smelled...I'm not judgemental and really wanted my meal so looked past that. But then it seemed as if worker took a picture of my credit card, and another worker grabbed her phone and wrote something on a paper!! Half the time you stand there at the counter for literally minutes with no one even acknowledging your presence much less taking an order. Every single time they get a crew that's halfway competent they fire them and keep the slowest employees. The best thing they've ever done is open up the back of the parking lot making it easier to get to McDonald's when either you hey tired odd waiting fir them to take your order or when they tell you they've run out of what ever you're wanting to order. I only know how to order off the dollar menu, and they were out of chicken sandwiches, so I ordered a promo item and they prepared it fresh. Slight wait, which is never fun in a drive thru. I attempted to order a Double Quarter Pound King and they had no idea what i was talking about. I eventually had to drive up to the window because they quit replying to me at the speaker. I showed them Burger Kings menu online and they said they don't serve it. I asked what i could substitute it for to accommodate to what I was trying to order. The manager told me they don't serve that, they don't have big patties and that I can go to McDonalds.
