My NY strip and my wife's bourbon glazed salmon. Wait. Salmon? She didn't order salmon. We both recognize it as salmon, but our waiter isn't so sure. "Why don't you taste it?", he asks my wife. My wife, who doesn't like salmon or she would've ordered salmon, is a little put out by this request, and I agree. I taste it and confirm it is indeed salmon. While not the best chicken we've ever had, compared to the steak we forced ourselves to eat, the chicken seemed like it had been blessed by God. For the record, the chicken looked NOTHING like the salmon. There is no way the two could've been confused. It's impossible to get our server to pay attention to us. I finally get his attention by flapping my arms. Yes, really. We get our bill, but then he won't come back. Eventually, we're both giving him the death stare, "Yes, I know", he says at one point. "All I want to do is pay my bill.", I say as a reply. To which, he walks off again. He then comes back a little while later and probably wasn't surprised to see that no tip was given. It's been many many years since I've left a restaurant leaving no tip at all. This experience was so bad I feel like they owe me some money just for going in the first place.
