They have yet to make any mistakes with my orders, and Isabel at the drive-through window is very friendly. I especially like how they put cream and sugar in your coffee for you. Burgers were cold and fountain drink soda was almost like carbonated water. Drive thru cashier was friendly. Management needs to train employees better. Make food fresh and test quality of fountain drinks regularly. Hopefully employees are wearing mask and gloves when preparing foods these days. Went to Burger King at 1475 South Dempsey Rd, Milpitas, Ca 95035 at 11:25am on 9-23-20. I ordered a whopper and a fish sandwich. I always eat my sandwiches with BBQ sauce. When I asked for BBQ sauce, I was denied by what look like a manager, via a tall Indian lady, and told BBQ sauce is strictly for chicken nugget orders only. This was a very unpleasant experience as I've never been denied BBQ sauce. That's like telling a customer you can only have ketchup if you order fries. I still paid for my food, but didn't enjoy it as much because I had no BBQ sauce to eat it with. It's a hit or miss with this BK. Usually it's always A1 but depending on who works, food could be sucky. I always go here because I'm I'm right down the street. Went through drive through today it was barely hitting 9:00pm and they gave me cold food. My chicken sandwich was cold, the fries were not fresh. My soda was not full. It was legit half with so much ice. Heard someone ordering and asking for their food to be fresh. I should've said the same thing if I knew they were gonna give me the left over foods. Drive thru service truly poor. Order a number two which is a Texas double whopper upgrade to medium fries and medium drink, of course the food is in the bag looks right I see fries and a burger and drink is medium size. Drive home 5 miles away and open the burger it's a single but I paid for double (#2) and fries are a small. Charged for a medium meal $11.86 definitely the higher price for a medium meal but only got a small fry too. To make matters worse bite into the burger to find the jalapeño stem inside my burger and not jalapeño slices. Highly recommend driving over to McKee or Calaveras but definitely wouldn't recommend going to Dempsey. Tried to call the number on the receipt. No answer! read more

I'M NEVER COMING HERE EVER AGAIN. The people that work here are really stupid and their customer service is the worst!!! Especially if you're going to their drive thru. Every time I go to their drive thru, I always have to park my car in their parking lot once I recieve my food to make sure that they haven't missed anything when to my surprise,THEY GIVE ME A SANDWICH I DIDN'T EVEN WANT. It's good to be the king. I like the whopper. I judge all other burgers against it. Most are better than it, but if you are worst than the Whopper, or just the same and cost more, I will never eat at your burger joint again. This location is a right, right, before the freeway, and I mean right before. If you miss the street you have to go over the overpass and down a few lights to flip a U-turn, come back over the overpass, flip another U-turn just to try to do it again. By that time I usually do not want Burger King anymore. All in all I recommend this place to anyone looking to get their Whopper on that can remember to make that right turn, right before the freeway. read more

The drive thru workers at this location seem quite disgruntled. The food is the same as always for Burger King / Fast Food restaurants but the workers that help you are always a bit distracted and a little grumpy. That being said, I do like their new Value Menu and enjoy the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It's been a long, long time since I've stepped foot in this BK. Like 10 years kind of long. After my disastrous outing to Del Taco and the loosie pewp explosion, I was hesitant to go to any fast food place. I settled for a Diet Coke while hubby snagged a Whopper and large fries. Of course, it was all over. I ate 10 pieces of french fries in the time it took him to get napkins. Fries were right out of the oil...and those 10 pieces alone made my tummy and taste buds sing in happiness. Fries were not salted and they were so lovely. The fries here are different than the fries at the BKs in AZ. These are more like regular shoe strings and the ones in AZ have some flour/sugar coating that make me not order their fries. Anyway, we got here and it was close to closing time and the people were incredibly nice and friendly. They locked the door after us (isn't that some kind of premise to a horror movie, btw?) and cleaned around us. Scraping chairs while trying to have a conversation -- really not good. Yelling and just general happiness that the front doors were locked reminded me of the fun times I had as a teenager working food services, thinking it so cool because it was my first job. So we were on our way back home and decided to go to BK when originally we had said Jack in the Box, we decided to change it up. I then have this idea of going to the location with the most starts and this location happened to have a whopping 3 stars so we come here. We order 2 whoppers (1 w/cheese and one whopper Jr w/cheese and 3 fries. We take our seat and start eating... The food came out how we ordered so no complain there. The fries were crisped to perfection for 2 of us third party however did not enjoy them too much because they were too crispy... I wouldn't say this place is junk because it was also nice and clean but lets face it, it was a fast food restaurant they're all pretty much the same in regards to each food chain... Some locations better than others but they don't deserve 3+ stars so I gave them a deserving decent 2 stars not bad for a fast food place. Enjoy. read more

Unfortunately, Burger King no longer delivers to my home, which is really strange as this place is only a couple of miles away. A pity, as even with the flaws in my previous reviews, I still really enjoyed ordering from here, including the free sandwich after 4 orders. I'm not really surprised, actually, as it's difficult for places to make money on delivery items with the expensive gas costs nowadays, and transporting this type of fast food is harder than delivering pizzas. I wouldn't have minded so much, except they did not send out any notices that delivery in my area would be terminated, plus the fact that I'm still receiving promotional e-mails from them. I suppose if I'm staying at a hotel sometime they might still be useful, but that is a relatively rare occurrence. read more

It's fast food so don't get Michelin here. But what u should expect - is the "fast" part. Breakfast time - it's not happening. They understaff the place. Maybe it's my fault for going so late at 1 AM, but man. I ordered my meal with a large and didn't open the bag until I got home. Usually I check my bag before I leave the drive thru window but I didn't this time. I get home 2 minutes later and my fries are cold and the fry box isn't even filled up. I didn't eat any at all on my drive home. The worker looked so irritated and impatient while handing me my change and drink. I promise you I wasn't even being a difficult customer, I said thank you & nothing else. But seriously. I ordered large fries and only end up with medium. Aren't most fast food restaurants pretty much the same, except for location? Yes, pretty much. Since, its local I've been to Burger King there a few times. Decent sandwiches. Best is the whopper with cheese w/ no onions or pickles. I prefer McDonald's fries over BK. They add some sort of chemical crap to keep the fries more crunchy which tastes more bland. And this stupid guy gave me 8 pieces of nuggets, and on the receipts it clearly said 20 pieces. So recently I've been coming here only to be disappointed twice with both of my last visits! To start off I usually order a rodeo king alongside with two 10 piece chicken nuggets! So today I decided to pay a visit. Only to realize once I was home that they messed up my order for the 2nd time. They had given me a whopper jr however they charged me for the rodeo burger! I've been eating at this BK since I was really little and the onion rings have always been my favorite. Still is. I've noticed recently that they're very understaffed and prioritize the drive-thru over people at the counter. They kind of mess up orders too. For example, I ordered $6 worth of tacos ($1 for 2, meaning 12 tacos), and I didn't check the bag and went home with only 6 tacos. Disclaimer: This review is for delivery only, as I have never been to this Burger King location. The delivery system at this BK is so broken, I do not even know where to begin. Let me start by setting the scene: Once a week my wife is out and I am with my daughter at home. Not having a car, we often order delivery and watch a movie. It's kind of our daddy-daughter thing to do. I have ordered from this Burger King location 12 times (yay for email receipts), and nearly every single one of these orders ended in disaster. I don't want to discourage anyone ordering here, but if you do, be aware that you are spinning the wheel of uncertainty and you may be surprised at what you get. The food you ordered? Merely a suggestion. Who knows what may turn up! The time of 50-55 minutes? A wild guess! It could be 2 hours, more, or the food may never show up. The delivery instructions? Straight into the shredder! And the phone number? Either total silence, or three people will be trying to call you at the same time. In all seriousness: In these 12 orders, I had one guy who actually got my food delivered timely and to the correct address. This happened 2 or 3 times. When I inquired about that driver, I was told with a sigh "He left. Yeah, he was good." Nearly all the other orders were in some way screwed up. I wrote a delivery note for every single delivery on where to find my apartment. Nobody ever bothered to read it. Ever. I had asked the drivers repeatedly why they cannot simply enter my address into their GPS and follow the directions that lead straight to my door. Turns out they don't have a GPS device. I talked at lengths to the manager of the store about this, who seemed frustrated but ultimately powerless (or unwilling) to change anything. When the orders did come, more often than not they were incomplete or wrong. As I write this I have a grumpy daughter on my lap whose Kids Meal and Smoothie did not arrive. Oh, and the sauces are missing too, but I am used to that already. The driver apologized profusely and was visibly frustrated. I then got calls from both him and the manager telling me conflicting information on whether the missing items were going to be delivered or not. It's very obvious that there is a huge communication problem between the kitchen and the drivers. First the driver called me back, telling me that he was "there" to get my missing Kids Meal. Then the shop called me telling me it would take at least an hour to get my missing items, and asked if I wanted to cancel. Yes, I wanted to cancel. Then the driver calls me again asking me if I wanted to get my order or cancel. This kind of back and forth happened on multiple occasions where I tried to orchestrate the whole delivery process with the shop and the driver. On one occasion the driver hung up on me in anger after he had heard from the shop that I had canceled the order (after being over 2 hours late), and the driver telling me to come meet him about 4 blocks away to pick up my order. The drivers themselves are frustrated and mostly apologetic. I don't know how the whole system works, so I do not know who is to blame for this mess. But I do believe it is up to management to put an end to this chaos. Anyways, I am going to grab some pizza for my hungry little one. Have a good one. read more

Apparently their system went down and instead of informing their customers in line they wait to tell them they only take cash at the registers. Waited 10 minutes to walk away with nothing. I tried their hot dogs, and it s gross. On top of serving it almost cold, they put hamburger toppings on the hot dog. lettuce pickle tomato and mayonnaise. Very confusing flavor and just not good. read more
