We mostly like the food: Mee Curry and nasi lemak but the belecan mixed vegetables (string beans, okra, eggplant) was lacking taste. We waited about an hour around 7 pm. Wished they have an electronic system because bunch of people just gave up and left. Suddenly it's your turn. Pretty small restaurant but the food was fast.

A new Malaysian restaurant in Milpitas. Food is great, especially I love Malaysian food. Service is excellent too, love this cute little restaurant.

Overall the food was good and the service (when we ordered takeout in person) was friendly. It is a bit pricey for the portions and the rendang wasn't as tender as I've had in Malaysia, but it's worth a try

Great food. Same chef as Layang Layang. I ordered the nasi lemak, roti telur (roti with egg), beef redang, and gado gado. All were delicious! My favorite was the nasi lemak and roti

First time. It's been for a week only and looks like business is doing great. It's lunch time on Friday and the place is packed. Lots of table inside. They have space to accommodate for big party like 10 people. Physical menu in both English, and Chinese, it's great for people who's not tech savvy. The pictures on menu for sure helps. Food flavor was good. Portion is decent. The nasi lamak coconut rice flavor was rich. The sambal that comes with our dish was on point. 1 piece of chicken drum stick and 2 big pieces of potato. I definitely recommend this place.

The food and service were great. Ambiance was ok due to a small space. Waiting lists is really long and you got to wait till there's tables. The cook and some staff is from previous layang layang restaurant.

We tried this new Malaysian restaurant on Barber Lane, same complex as the Koi Palace. The food is very authentic and tastes like dishes back in South-east Asia. The staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming. It is good to see some new South East Asian restaurants in the Bay Area. We really liked the taste of the dishes and the selection on the menu is just right and it covers the popular dishes from the region. The restaurant is small and gets crowded past noon time. If you are looking for some Malaysian/ Singapore food, Mari Mari is a good place to try.

Great to see a new Malaysian restaurant spawning up in South Bay. The Penang Prawn Noodle was awesome (the last time I had that was at Layang-layang which had just closed down). Malaysian foodies are recommended to check this place out.

Food was slightly above average. Curry noodles smells authentic, but I feel it's not salted enough. Gado gado tasted pretty good, but unfortunately was very oily, not sure why. Server was very attentive, excellent!

Food was delicious and the owners were very attentive and friendly! My family and I have been looking for a new go to Malaysian spot since there are none in the area anymore and this spot will definitely be in our rotation of dinner spots. We ordered the kang kung, seafood egg chow fun, gado gado and char kueh tiew and they were all very flavorful. The sambal with the char kueh tiew was amazing and everything paired nicely with the pickled jalapeños that can be requested. Such a good dinner!

The Roti was crisp, but still had a nice chew to it and was not too oily! Portion size was ok, I think just enough for 2 ppl to share as an appetizer! - Sarang Seafood $27.50: Interesting dish for sure! It was fried taro paste in a bowl form with a seafood stir fry inside! In my opinion, I think it was just ok! A little overpriced for the amount of actual seafood in the dish (there were about 4 pieces of shrimp, small pieces of scallops and squid). I think the dish could've used a bit more flavor and maybe better quality seafood? Overall ok! ~overall~ Service was great, very quick and the staff were very friendly! Lot of seating indoors, so would a good spot for larger groups too! Plenty of parking in the plaza as well! Overall, pretty good, I may come back to try some of their other dishes since their menu seems quite big!

We came here as a group of four on a Saturday afternoon before a movie screening and every dish was pretty good, the standout being the bird's nest (nest is edible), fried tofu, and noodles. Next time I want to check out some of the desserts as well, but unfortunately we were too full to even fathom another bite. A good problem to have! Service is friendly and parking is abundant. This is located in a very popular strip mall with a ton of options, but I would recommend coming here for a taste of authentic Malaysian cuisine.

A few other customers were arriving and waiting as well. We ordered two nasi lemak dishes and one seafood kwetiau goreng. The kwetiau came out first, and we assumed the nasi lemak would follow shortly, so we started eating. Even after we finished the kwetiau, we still had to wait a bit longer for the nasi lemak to arrive. That said, the food was delicious and full of flavor. The portions were on the smaller side, which felt pretty typical for an authentic Asian restaurant. The staff were attentive even though we were seated outside, which I appreciated. The restaurant itself has a very casual and family friendly atmosphere, and most of the customers seemed to be dining in groups with family. I especially enjoyed the kwetiau goreng and would definitely come back for that dish again.

The roti prata was definitely one of my favorites and perfect for dipping into the curry. The curry itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without being overly heavy. The noodles were also satisfying with a nice balance of savory flavors and good texture. For dessert, I tried the pandan panna cotta. The presentation was nice, but personally it wasn't my favorite compared to the savory dishes. The pandan flavor was lighter than I expected, though it was still creamy and refreshing. Service was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. The vibe is casual and lively, making it a great spot for sharing multiple dishes with friends or family. Overall, a really enjoyable meal with standout savory items I'd come back for the roti prata and curry again.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When I asked for a small container of the pepper sauce that is available at the tables, I was told no. After paying and leaving, we realized our dessert was missing from the order. I returned about 10 minutes later with the bags, and instead of simply verifying the mistake, the employee counted every item in the order as if there was doubt about the missing dessert. Once the mistake was confirmed, I still had to wait another 10 minutes while multiple employees checked on me. To make matters worse, the food itself was fairly mediocre and didn't stand out compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. Between the service issues and average food, this wasn't a place we would return to.
