So as you're eating, people next to you are waiting online can look and hear your conversation. Mind you, there was a table left that was next to the harbor but they wouldn't give it to us because they want to give that to a family of 4 or more. It is just very poorly managed or it could be that we're not "special" enough to be seated next to the harbor. Note: Obviously, I don't feel privileged enough to be eating there. When they said they're not willing to give me the seating next to the harbor, I kindly asked them to pack my food to go. Again, the staff was pleasant but their subtle entitlement is what threw me off. I do NOT recommend this place at all for a good seafood fix. There are better places at south shore that will serve "seasoned" food with nicer hospitality.

This White Castle in Bayside is at the majorly busy intersection of Northern Blvd and Bell Blvd. There is a small parking lot with room for 5 cars plus 1 handicap spot and there is a drive-thru with the entrance as you come south on Bell Blvd. I usually like to go inside to order, but as we pull into our parking spot a see a white Mercedes pull in next to us and they order from the app as we go inside. We like the Bacon Cheeseburgers, so we get 4 of those along with 2 Fish sandwiches with cheese. We always get the Fried Clam Strips, but I was shocked that a sack now is $13.69, Yikers! It was a tossup between the Chicken Rings and Onion Rings, but we go with a sack of Chicken Rings, which was 20 rings for $9.29. They were surprisingly better than the ones we've had before with better taste and are thicker. There is also a new limited time menu item, the Fajita Chicken sandwich and it was probably the best thing on the menu. WC's chicken sandwich usually is one of their rings on a bun, but this is way better. It is a fried white meat fillet topped with jalapeno cheese and it tastes really good. For $2.99, it's a pretty good deal. Our order is filled in less than 10 minutes and we're back on the road going home to enjoy our goodies. The total order was $47.36, which is way more than any White Castle order I've had in the past, so it's no longer the cheap value meal it once was.

I entered this beautiful store and found it tidy and neat. A beautiful red smash burger sign greets you upon entering. They had my attention, after all, I saw red! ( Just a little pun). Walking up to the counter I saw not workers in sight or on site, which ever you chose, so I stood there for 3 minutes. Someone finally came to the front and just started staring at me. No proper greeting, no welcome to Smash Burger, home of the good burger. (I'm acting a little wiftey). I begin to ask questions in order to make the best of my visit. I asked if they had turkey burgers and crinkled cut fries. She said no and no was just that, no means no, no suggestive selling, just flat out no. I am not ready to consume beef so I opted out. Improvements needed- when a customer enters the store, greet them and ask them how you can help them if they ask for something off of the menu, stir them to what's on the menu. It's obvious that they are unfamiliar with the menu, try to keep them in the store to make the sale by telling them what you do have; like, we have hotdog's, chicken sandwiches, sweet potato fries. Give them a reason not to leave and don't say no for the customer, let the customer make that "no" decision. Based on customer service and not trying to score the saie, I initially was giving 3 but I'll knock a half Star off, rounded down to make two stars. If I'm in the area, I'll stop in to see if improvements are made and give a satisfactory rating That's all I have to offer... Oh!! and.... Inspire more, Yelp more!
