    Looking great from the outside

I usually dont like to eat at fast food restaurants but I had the kids with me so we stopped by for some burgers and fries. The place looked well kept on the outside and the inside is pretty decent. The restroom is a bit gross, there is mold around the sink, I'm really hoping management will do something about that. By consuming 677 calories in one Whopper, the burger was super mediocre and cold. The meat also tasted old, the bread was soggy and only a tiny piece of lettuce and tomato. Thankfully the chicken sandwich my sister had tasted a lot better as well as their fries. I'm not sure if I would want to come back here again, maybe in another 5 years :)

    Ants on cookies

Obviously it's fast food so it's not the best service/ food quality won't be the best. But inside there are ants on the food. That's just gross and this place needs to get cleaned because if they're on the front counter imagine where else they are.

The hours sheet says this Burger King opens at 7:00am, I'm here at 7:25 and no one is here working to take an order. This sucks because this Burger King is always so much better than the BK off 210.

Let's see if they hold up to anything that's on the display

Okay everybody knows I'm not a fast food fan when it's crap food(love me some Mom & Pop FF joints, any day of the week)Not been to a BK in a decade & a half if not more cuz their food is crap..(my opinion) Now I've eaten Jack-in-the-Box back in the 80s.. A monster taco & onion rings..420 friendly good of course(I will go out of my way to stop and grab one of those little combos if I see a Jack In The Box during our travels).. So I was thinking it would be close to that when I heard BK was doing a run at Taco's.. All I can say is IT'S dog and cat food mixed together & in a greasy taco shell of hell.. Worst food ever... I bought 2 just to see..I took a bite out of each and then the rest went to the Paws(dogs).. Their onion rings are made out of minced crap fried to look like a Onion Ring..No real onion flavor.. I tried to put ketchup on them & that didnt even make ya want to eat them.. Still GROSS..Since the Paws can't have onions (onions make your dogs anemic=bad mojo) They went to trash.. If you're a b BK fan they're all yours..( no hate or disrespect) I won't be going back & taking them away from you.. If you're not a BK fan my suggestion.. STAY the HELL AWAY, don't even try it.. It's a waste of money.. Spent $4.36.. P.S..Get your advertising Market to make it look like the real deal.. Don't make it look like something you're not even selling..

20 minutes in drive thru and I still don't have my food! This is the most ridiculously slow BK I've ever had the misfortune of visiting

drive thru takes forever, staff is incredibly lazy and slow. Wish I could rate it lower, 1 star is a service for the wait I had to ensure

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

Good atmosphere and the food coming out of the kitchen looked and tasted great -- no complaints…read morethere. The Bloody Mary is where it lost me. $15 is a serious price for a cocktail, and mine arrived as a tall glass of ice with what was left over poured around it. By the time I was a few sips in, it was mostly meltwater. For that money I'd expect the drink to outlast the ice. Suggestion for the house: given the name, lean into it. Send everyone home with a free bag of ice -- at least then I'd feel like I paid for something I got to keep. Would go back for the food. Would think twice before ordering another cocktail.

We had a small group so we ordered a bunch of appetizers. The reason I took a star off the rating was for service. It was disappointing because every single employee we encountered was not overly friendly. This includes hostess, bartender and waitress. It was odd. Such a cute place but we felt like the staff was just blah. No personality, not helpful, nothing. Not interactive or engaging. Maybe it was an off night for everyone. I will give it another chance.

It gave modern tiki bar feeling, it was clean and felt very warm and inviting. We sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender and a very extensive and beautiful leather bound menu! I loved that haha! They had everything from classic tiki drinks, to modern, to drinks by liquor type, etc. It had the food menu, some information about the bar and how it came about. We ordered a few drinks: Bushido Rhapsody (DELICIOUS), Stars & Sarsaparilla (husband liked it) and their currently rotating tiki drink - Escape from Black Mountain, which serves 2 and is served in a cool mug of the bust of Pedro Menendez. You can purchase it as well! It was so good and felt never ending between the 2 of us drinking it. For food we ordered a couple of apps - Cajun Chicken Eggrolls and the Montenegro Meatballs. Both were fantastic!! If we didn't already have dinner plans, we would have stayed here for dinner! Definitely will be coming back here next time we are in town and every time after that!
