The employee working the drive-thru on 4/29 at 12:35 p.m. was openly rude, dismissive, and clearly not trained to do something as basic as process a payment. Before coming in, I called to confirm the store accepts EBT and was told they do as long as you're part of the hot meals program--which we are. We placed our order and pulled up to the window, and instead of any attempt at customer service, we were met with an immediate attitude. He said the card was declined and then claimed they didn't even have Sprite--despite the employee who took our order confirming they did and already pouring it. He continued insisting the card was declining and that he was running it correctly. We pulled forward, called the number on the back of the card, and confirmed there were sufficient funds. My husband then went inside and spoke with another employee, who explained that the drive-thru worker wasn't even processing the card properly--he kept pressing "skip." That's not a minor mistake--that's complete incompetence paired with a bad attitude. Instead of fixing the issue, he doubled down and wasted our time over something entirely preventable. This is one of the few Burger King's I have seen with a playground. No one was using it but it's there if the kids need to get some energy lose. We wanted a quick something before hitting the road for home. We ordered a Whopper Jr. and a crispy wrap. Service was speedy and we took our food to go. Staff were friendly and nice. I had never had the crispy chicken wrap. It was decent. I will have to keep that in mind for the future. The Whopper Jr. was fine and gone within minutes. Haven't been to this Burger King in probably 5 years. But was in the area and wanted a small snack to hold me over until dinner. Ordered a 8 piece Chicken Fries and a value soda. Came to $7.36! Expensive snack!!! But what was insane was the size of the value soda. It's insanely small! Probably about 10oz or less. They charged $1.79 for it! That's insane for the price! The staff were friendly and the store was relatively clean for a fast food restaurant. Still can't get over the sticker shock though. I could have gotten a full value meal across the street at another popular fast food restaurant for $2 less! I'll have to remember not to stop here for a snack the next time I'm in this area. I've been going to this Burger King since it was built including with my children through the years, sadly since their remodel which gave everyone hopes that the food quality would improve to that of days gone past the only thing that change was the now more curt behavior of their employees. We consider ourselves friendly and genuinely say Hi to to the people working at the restaurants we dine at, as we did so tonight when we came to order our food tonight. The young lady in the lobby didn't even respond back to us saying Hi or look at us for this matter. When I said Hi again she didn't look at me but rudely said she doesn't get paid enough to respond to customers and told us ti use the kiosk in the lobby to order our food. The rudeness extended to the other employees working and the manager who didn't even acknowledge us standing by the counter waiting for our paid order! When we were handed our order they didn't use our name or our order number the different female employee just said this is yours and walked away without even saying anything positive or acknowledging our Thank You when she plopped our bag of food down on the counter. If you're the owner of this Birger King we understand it's difficult to find non-entitled and friendly employees who actually care about others but I'm sure that you can do better than the Muttly Crew that you have working here! read more

Went to Burger King yesterday. I thought they were closed in and in demolition mode, but I couldn't have been more wrong. BK burgers are the only fast food burgers I like but so many BK's are not run or managed well and may even be a scary place to go. The one on Cortaro WAS that way - but they are making a turn around, remodeling and new and wonderful staff. Give it a try. They are not closed. They are remodeling. My food was fantastic. Well, as everyone else, if I read these reviews, I would have gone to In-N-Out. My burger tasted more like bread and anything else, the fries were fresh but I asked for no salt and there was salt. The onion rings were cold and had a little bit of a chewiness to them. The dining room had papers on the floor and tables. The staff is trained to only take one order, then proceed with the payment, give the drinks, then send the vehicle around the front to "wait", BEFORE taking the next cars order. If you're 2 or 3 vehicles back from the order screen, you will be sitting for 10-15 minutes before even placing your order, then another 5-10 minutes out front waiting for your food. I went here after a radio advertisement of a family whopper deal for under $20 to compete with McDonalds bundle that has 2 Big Macs 3 frys and a 20 piece McNugget for $19.99. On Friday, I went through the drive thru for a fish sandwich and small fry. I use the 6239 code for a large fry, but requests a small fry. That alone helps their inventory. When the young African guy is working, I never have any problems with my order. But when the manager Tanya is there (she's a miserable, horrible person), I ALWAYS have issues with my order. We went in to sit down to eat today. When we approached the counter no one working greeted us. It took them a long while to even take our order. At this point we were the only ones in the dining room. Our order was taken at 11:09. We received our order at 11:40. At this point we decided not to eat there due to the tables, soda area and floors being so dirty. My kids used the bathrooms and they said they were both disgusting.
