After trying a Whopper recently, I tried a couple of more old school fast food items including a Double Cheeseburger and a Filet of Fish from McDonald, Dave's Double and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Wendy's, and the Big Fish Sandwich here. The fish sandwich was introduced in the 1970's and was dubbed "The Whaler". It was whitefish and was placed in a long, sub type roll. Over the years the sandwich was changed, and in 2012 the current version was introduced -.panko-breaded Alaskan Pollock on one of those awful brioche buns. The sandwich has a bit of lettuce, tartar sauce, and pickles, and the fish is square in shape. The piece of fish is actually very good, the rest, especially the bun, is pure rubbish! Forget the food! We all know that Burger King makes wonderful-tasting charbroiled burgers. That's why one visits and patronizes this legendary burger chain. And don't ask me to speak on the ambiance of the fast food restaurant because I went through their drive-thru window. Now, the service (if that's what you want to call it)?! That's why I'm writing this review! Not only are the employees at this particular Burger King dumber than a bag of rocks, they completely are incapable of doing the most simplest job! For example, I asked for a Whopper with NO MAYONNAISE upon it, and NOTHING more! -How can you mess up NOT putting something upon sandwich? I'll tell you why: because you're having a good ol' time laughing, partying and doing everything with your co-workers BUT focusing on doing the job that pays you. Clearly these idiots don't get paid much because they ALL were having the best of time giggling and carrying on in the store (which I could see clearly them doing from the drive thru cashier window as I waited in my car 10 minutes for them to prepare ONE Whopper for me). Care for doing their job(s) is obviously nonexistent at this particular Burger King. Upon retrieving my hamburger in the to-go bag, I started to drive right off and munch happily but something in my spirit told me to check my food before driving off... because God help them if I had bitten into that burger and had to turn back around in traffic just to return my order. Low and behold, my burger not only had mayonnaise upon it (which I despise and find utterly disgusting), the mayonnaise was dripping from it because it was so much slathered in-between the buns! Needless to say, I parked my car, stormed in and demanded a refund after telling each and every single employee off inside the store (that, mind you, was STILL in the midst of partying amongst themselves before I quickly broke up their ridiculous reveling)! I forcefully reminded them that they are in the food business and need to pay much more attention to when their paying customers make a request because SOME people are making those requests due to food allergies! Not listening to those customers' demands CAN cost someone their life! It's as simple as flipping a piece of frozen cow meat upon a grill, slapping it in-between two pieces of bread and rolling it up in foil-paper before serving it! Again, how do you mess up NOT putting something extra upon a product?! Please do NOT waste your time, energy, money or patience (because it WILL be tried) at this particular Burger King! Let these morons behind that counter find themselves jobless from this restaurant having to close down before you EVER even consider for an inkling of a second pulling into its lot! Would give 0 stars but then I can't post a review. So let's get started. Today me and my fiancé ordered an original chicken sandwich and a double cheeseburger. Keep in mind we had not eaten yet so there was nothing else to help trigger the next incident that would occur. Anyways, my fiancé gets home and I begin looking at the food poor wrapping hadn't bothered me much since I was very hungry, on my order specifically I get mayo and extra mustard on my burger in which they added ketchup which makes me feel sick sometimes, but I was hungry I am not allergic or deathly I'll to ketchup, I thought to myself no problem can't be that bad just want to eat! I ate my food in a normal pace didn't rush or anything of the sorts and almost instantly me and my fiancés stomach began to rumble and growl. Well shit I had thought to myself but I didn't think too much of it small stomach ache who knows it could be from something else I thought though I hadn't eaten prior. NO, couldn't even rest on it I threw up 4 times in a row standing over my toilet eyes just watering nothing I could do. Long story short God please save yourselves and do not eat here it is not worth it. I'm going to go microwave my noodles that seems to be the better option. Don't know if the proper hand-washing procedures are being held up here or salmonella not sure but whatever it may be it is not worth coming here again. This is my 3rd visit and with each visit to lobby they are so consumed with getting drive through taken care you're not given good service ! Food is great, but no drinks, ketchup and napkins or condiments of any kind when you get ready to sit down they give you an empty cup for drink which is never avail even in my recent visits in lobby. Getting ready to eat you have to go stand and wait to get napkins or ketchup and your drink. This is not a good dining and fast dining experience. read more

This place is a dump. We went inside, stood in front of the cashier (Saturday June 25, 2022 at 3:40pm). She was SLOWLY counting her cash drawer (right in front of us) and never acknowledged our presence, so we had to walk out. Plenty of people working yet nobody seemed interested in helping. The drive through has to have the rudest people in town. Completely unfriendly, bordering on hostile. I am sure race plays a large part of it, which is sad. There is nothing like having friendliness tossed back in your face by someone who should be courteous but is instead rude. I will not be going back. The absolute worst Burger King I've ever been to. One person waiting to order when we walked up and it still took us 15 minutes to order our food. Went to the drink machine and it wasn't working properly. Had to go back to the counter and have them fill my cup. Got the wrong drink. It took 11 more minutes to get our food. Our food was okay. Sat in the drive thru for 15 min and then when someone finally came over the com, she was extremely rude and snappy. I come here frequently and this was just insane. I went by here yesterday on my way to see Gran Torino at the welfare theatre. I had five mins before the movie started and I made it on time. So two stars. Minus three for being overcharged and my onion rings cold. I ordered the Jr Whopper meal for 3 bucks. My total came to 3.49. Tax is only 21 cents so where does the other 28 cents go? First reply was that its a restaurant tax. Nope. No restaurant tax in NC. Second reply was that I ordered cheese. Try again. Final reply was that the price of the combo changed last week. Sounds like they have as much trouble changing the menu prices as they do coming up with an answer to a complaint. O ya, and my onion rings were cold damnit. Not to mention the maze that poses as a parking lot/drive thru. A blind person could design a better business. Ill probably be back next weekend. read more

Went to the BK on Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem, NC. Ordered a whopper value meal and then excused myself to go to restroom. Toilet paper dispenser is extremely low (shin level) and EMPTY! Imagine my horror to find the paper towel dispenser EMPTY, too! To top it off and totally disgusting, I had to use a discarded and used paper towel out of the trash to take care of business! Embarrassed, I went to the front counter to complain to manager. She apologized, but went on to make excuses about how she didn't understand how that could happen as she checked this morning. How can two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towel disappear? She didn't even offer to reimburse my meal to try and appease me. read more

Me and my fiancé and brother in law came into Burger King for lunch and first thing we noticed was how disrespectful the cashier was. He didn't speak he just looked at us when we ordered and didn't tell us any price. Kudos to the afternoon crew at this BK! My family ordered our burgers wrong and a woman, Melody, came from the kitchen to the front to help us out. She apologized to us and offered to remake our food and gave it to us hot and fresh. She did not make us feel dumb for our mistake and saw to it that we were satisfied. We will be back! read more
