My wife and I stopped here after hiking in the area and we're pretty sure we've found our new favorite post-hike burger spot in Burger Me! The service from the employee we encountered was great. She was friendly and sped us through the ordering process. We both ordered cheeseburgers (both medium well) with a side of regular fries and a chocolate milkshake. The burger was great. I had that with garlic fries. My friend ordered the elk burger with sweet potato fries. Service was great and prompt and employees were friendly. The ambience was quiet, which was nice. The patty melt was pretty decent and the cook on it was great. My onions were grilled, which was positive. However, it lacked the distinct grilled flavor. My garlic fries were so good and I loved seeing all the fresh garlic on it. My friend said his elk burger was good and left it at that. My boyfriend and I came to this location. We have eaten here before, but it seems like it's going downhill. I know they have a kiosk to order at, but we stood at the counter to order and the staff didn't acknowledge us. So, we did use the kiosk. Burger Me! in Reno, the Shardlands location, has exceptional service and a menu that offers something exciting for everyone. I've had a Caesar salad there and it was terrific. So, there's truly something for everyone. The staff is also really attentive and friendly, making every interaction a joy. I've watched the management coach employees and they were super kind and effective in doing so. But enough about the environment; on to our favorite foods! The onion rings are a standout side, most outstanding for their crispiness and light breading. They're a perfect balance of both. Without fail, and we order them every time since we discovered their excellence, they're superb when it comes to flavor, crisp, size, and breading. The NV Elk Burger is a rare treat, though I prefer it medium rare. It's juicy and delicious, and the bacon and Swiss cheese balance out the lean meat with some fabulous flavor. I find it hard to not order it every time, but having tried the Smash Burger, I'm glad I resisted on that occasion. It's a phenomenal Smash Burger; crispy on the edges and as juicy as it gets, with a nice, sharp flavor to the fixings. The Dirty Bird sandwich is my wife's more sensible choice. It's got some fierce flavor to it, and has never failed to please. It comes out not too juicy, not too seasoned, and hits all the marks. A chicken sandwich that's well worth the mess, this one is worth the drive. We go here practically every weekend, and will enjoy continuing to do so. I have been a long time frequenter of this place. The sharlands and Robb Dr. location specifically. Not only bc it's close to my house. But also bc I like the quality of their meat. Real meat, great portion sizes. Not a flat something resembling a piece of paper but an actual something you can bite into piece of meat. It brings me no pleasure to reduce my review for this business, but in light of our most recent order, I have to. Most times, the burgers we get from here are perfect, spot on, exactly the way we want them. So when my wife, for her 40th birthday, asked for a cheeseburger from her favorite burger place, I obliged. Her order is always the same - cheeseburger, pepperjack, well done. What we got was something akin to seared beef tar tar. Sure, the outside looked cooked, but her first couple bites revealed a cool, near raw center. This has never happened at Burger Me. But, for her 40th birthday, getting a raw cheeseburger literally left a bad taste in her mouth. I tried cooking the patty further in the air fryer, but at that point, her words - "I can't, I'm too grossed out." We're definitely gonna give them another chance at some point, but not until the "grossed out" memory of this uncooked burger fades from memory. I have been back to Burger Me! a bunch of times now and have to add that fifth star, because I've had very great service and friendly people in the drive thru pretty consistently now. Also, they seem to have switched their credit card system so it is much easier to give the tip I want to give/a custom tip and not just be percentage. For whatever reason, I like it better - not a big deal but in the past I felt like it was too easy to accidentally tip a lot for unfriendly service. Most importantly: The food remains delicious! I've decided I love the garlic fries even more than the sweet potato fries and there is a perfect amount of garlic. Did I mention they have malted milkshakes? First off, love the fries. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just the way I like it. As for the Ahi Tuna Burger, it was okay, but it lacked pizzaz that would have made it shine. They advertise that it has Sriracha coleslaw and wasabi mayo, but you could have fooled me. Didn't taste anything spicy which is sorely needed. Must say that their regular burgers are quite good and I like how they make everything when you order it and not have pre-cooked burgers sitting around. Service was definitely fast and friendly. I asked for the burger to be cooked medium. With a small wait, our meal came out. The burger looked so delicious and I was eager to take a bite. When I took a bite, I had a very well done burger which lacked flavor. All the toppings on the burger didn't help with the flavor but had a different texture at least. The only thing that really saved this meal were the fries which were perfect! We always love this place. The food is made from scratch and never sits. It's always fresh! I get the black bean burger cooked very well done. Otherwise it's too soggy and falls apart. My husband gets the elk burger or chicken sandwich. We always order our fries extra crispy. The serving is HUGE! Could easily serve 3 people. Overall it's our go to place for cheap, fresh, and tasty food. We've dined both inside and have done take out. Either way it's always a knock out experience!
