I was craving a cheeseburger and have been on a mission to try more local spots. Somehow, after living in Reno for more than half my life, I'd never been to Juicy's. If you like simple, old-school burgers over giant, over-the-top creations, this is your place. I ordered a single with grilled onions, and my boyfriend had a double with grilled onions, peppers, and bacon. Both burgers had a great crispy sear. Mine got a little messy from the sauce, but the crisp was exactly what I wanted. We shared the chili fries, which were good but a little salty. The ranch, though, was excellent, I can see why people recommend it. It may not be my favorite burger in Reno just yet, but it's definitely a solid, classic cheeseburger, and I'll be back. read more

This place is a Reno landmark by now we are very lucky to have this in our community, I enjoyed the single burger with cheese and a regular fry. The staff behind the counter were really friendly and very efficient service was fast and the meal as usual was delicious! This place has been a personal favorite of mine for a few years and there food don't disappoint. After doing a hike up there in the Huffaker hill with me friend we stopped here to grab a bit to eat. Their 2/3lbs cheeseburger hits the spot. The only critique that I will give that my friend point out was the smell from their grill being a bit distracting. Hopefully some ventilation will be added as part of the shopping area the restaurant is in is getting. I came here with my friend after a long hike as he recommended this place. It was pretty hard to find as there's no big sign on the roof or anything to find it, just a sign in the window. The inside smelled very strongly of grease and smoke from the stoves, it was a very strongly and overwhelming odor, probably very little ventilation. It was not too pleasant to deal with the entire time we ate. The cashier was good, she took my order well enough. The interior was alright. Just plain colored walls and paintings hung around. Pretty average stuff there. I ordered a 2/3 lbs cheeseburger with fries and wow, I was blown away by the burger! It was so juicy and rich in flavor! The toppings all melted together beautifully as well and all came together to one of the best burgers I've had in a long time, incredible! The fries were a lot more average than the burger was, nothing special about the taste of them, definitely a let down compared to the amazing burger! Overall this is a pretty good place. There's something about a drink in a Styrofoam cup that really brings you back. This burger place got the Styrofoam cups and it really brings you all the way back. When the place got the Styrofoam cups you just get brought right back you know, that's the kind of place that you're going to with this place. The burgers they are just like what you used to get, with the places with the Styrofoam cup. We love juicys. Their prices are great. 3 of us can share a large fry, which is nice. Due to getting a double they have a very simple menu, which is great. Keeps costs down for them and us, with not having a huge menu. If you want a burger or a chicken sandwich they are the place to go. It's always clean inside. Simple atmosphere. Unlike some of the hole in the wall burger places, this place is a very basic but huge dining room so good for large groups. Burgers are delicious and a good value for the size. But they are basic burgers. No 'secret sauce' or any fufu/gourmet stuff going on here. Good fries. If you are hungry and want a good value non-fufu burger, this is your place. read more

I've been to juicy as many times before I always like the quality of the hamburgers and cheeseburgers. It's a lot of burger for the money and a nice course ground meat cooked fresh staff is always very friendly and the decor is a little bit bland. It's all gray, but that's not what this place is about. Juicy's is a Reno staple. For as long as I've lived here, it's been my go-to burger joint. The prices are actually fair, and the food is consistently really good. But what truly makes this place special is the service. One time, I received a burger that was undercooked, but I had already taken it to go. I called once I got home to explain that I had just left and couldn't eat it. Keith from Juicy's took great care of me and fixed the situation. I wanted to try a local business and was craving a burger and fries so I stopped by this Juicy's location. First thing that I noticed was the drab decor. It was dark, dingy, and outdated. The seats were uncomfortable, the walls drab, the lighting was minimal. The second thing I noticed was the smell of cooking oil that filled the restaurant. Either it needed to be changed or the exhaust system was not working because there was a layer of greasy air filling the place. I probably should have left, but I was hungry. The very young staff seemed bored and bothered by customers. I ordered a burger, fries, and drink. The burger was boring.-lacked flavor. I am gluten free and keto/low carb so depending on where I'm at, I'll either get the double cheeseburger as a lettuce wrap with fries or without. Excited to go here as a child, I went to the juicy's in Tahoe.It was amazing We went to the last day at the other juicys in Reno it was really good. This one was just okay.The burger didn't have much flavor it was bland to me. It was a double cheeseburger with bacon , but it just didn't have much flavor. I also had a shake.It was good it was a oreo shake. The chilli fries were the best thing. I dont know that I would go back here I think an in and out burger is better than this. My girlfriend had the single (1/3#) cheeseburger. I didn't need the double patty as a single would be plenty. My dining partner thought that next time she would probably just order the 1/4# burger. I think the key to any good sandwich is the bread or in this case the bun. This bun left a lot to be desired. Plain jane, grocery store-brand style, quality, taste and feel to me left me desiring much more. The service was, once again, OK at best. The kid who took my order was pleasant but quiet. Never told me that they would call my number, nor what my number even was. They were calling my number. Thankfully, I had asked for a receipt and after digging it back out, I saw my number. Oh yea, easily one of the better burgers here in Reno. They are giant and perfectly grilled everytime! If i could offer just one criticism I would say they just pile on too much lettuce, but you can always remove it. I also always add some pickles, and they have little containers with jalapenos and pickles to go, if you prefer. The fries are perfectly cooked, and even better than McDonald fries which I thought were the best. I would try the cheeseburger, with or without bacon, and if that is not enough (it is for me) then try the double cheeseburger, IF YOU DARE! Yes, they are juice!!!! Everything is ala cart. All items are freshly made to order. I ordered the double cheeseburger, but I think a jr. Cheeseburger would have been enough. The fries were good but bland, and the shake was excellent. The location is easy to get to, but it feels run down inside--greasy handprints on the walls.
