Came here when Sonic messed up my shake and it made my night. Excellent food and shakes.

DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $45.00! Infact the only good thing about our visit was the outside staff, who made me feel like it might be a decent place to eat. I have been here since 2013 & never stopped in. The inside waiter could not explain the menu, nor could he get my partners order right, even after sending it back to be remade. I can easily go another 13 years without returning. The food is substandard for the cost. It's a shame that something Cleveland claims as an ICON of the 50's, (perhaps the business was great back then) was such a disappointment. I'd rather get a cheeseburger out of a vending machine. $45 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks. Spend your money at McAllisters, you'll pay far less, for an edible meal. Zero Stars is too many. I have always enjoyed visiting Shake Shack and appreciated the quality and atmosphere it offers. However, over the past year, I've noticed a significant increase in prices that makes it difficult to justify the cost for the portion sizes provided. During a recent visit, the total was over $60 for three small meals for my family of three. While the food remains decent, the overall value no longer aligns with comparable restaurants in the Cleveland, TN area. For instance, similar establishments such as Steak 'n Shake provide comparable quality at a more reasonable price point. I hope Shake Shack considers reevaluating its pricing or portion sizes to maintain the balance of quality, affordability, and customer satisfaction that made it such a great place to dine in the past. read more

I really used to love this place. We always got the super tall soft serve ice cream and something to snack on. I never had any bad experiences that were worth writing home about. But today, I went to pick up some french fries for the road and after receiving our bag, we immediately regretted it. Frankly, the food was overpriced and was evidently frozen from the box - which really sucks because I have fond memories of this place (I'm visiting from out of town). We ended up getting fries from the McDonald's down the road, which is saying something. I wasn't going to leave a review either, but we wanted to see if others had similar experiences before making a fuss. Then I saw the business owner's personal comments on multiple reviews, and I felt inspired to leave my message. People are allowed to operate their business however they please, but to be rude and dismissive of customers' opinions is unwarranted. Whereas I used to recommend this place to my Cleveland, Ocoee, and Ooltewah neighbors, I will be discouraging anyone from visiting here on the basis of food and attitude. read more

The service was terrific, it was the management that was off, the manager of this restaurant was very rude to us, My order was prepared incorrectly, we asked for it to be remade due to it being the wrong sandwich and they brought tater tots instead of fries, we were not upset and simply asked for them to be replaced, the server was very pleasant. 15 minutes later no fries and no sandwich, they then came out with the fries with no sandwich and said I owed them 3.60 cents for the fries, I explained I had already paid and the girl said that is ok that she would pay for it, the owner makes her pay for any misorders that are made usually, I said that is unacceptable to be treated that way so I asked for the manager, the manager came out with a greasy bag and literally tossed it through the window into my wife's lap through her window in the driver seat and exclaimed at her to open the sandwich in a mean manner as he rudely just walked away and said nothing else. Holding myself back for treating my wife that way. I did say some choice words to the owner that I am embarrassd of doing, after that we decided to leave instead of doing what I wanted to do to this creep of a manager. read more

Delicious old fashioned cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes! The young lady who took our order was very nice. The drive in was well kept and ladies restroom was very clean! They also have picnic tables if you don't want to eat in your vehicle. We look forward to our next trip through Cleveland so we can swing by! read more

Love this place. They've great burgers. And ice cream. They're always nice and quick they no longer allow dine in eating however on a sunny day it's nice to sit out and eat on one of their picnic tables. Next time I go I will be sure to add photos.. Burgers are great, not so keen on the milkshakes (more like iced milk and not creamy). But, everything else we've eaten there is yummy!

Stopped here for the first time today for a lovely root beer float after an afternoon hike. Though they accidentally brought out a Coke float, they made it right quickly. We've lived in the area two year now and will definitely return because of the kick ass owner here, as evidenced by his standing up for his business and his "sayings" posted at his place of business. Sadly, not what it used to be. 8oz. burger had more bun than beef. Bland bun and flavorless beef at that. Crinkle fries were stale and undercooked. When I mentioned the underwhelming fries to the staff, I was told the owner would not do anything about it and would not replace them. I was stuck with them. They even charge for a cup of water! Food is pretty good, just a little on the pricey side. To put it in perspective, l paid about $15 for 3 milkshakes. But they were good, so oh well. It's definitely a nice place to stop on a spring or summer day and enjoy a burger or maybe a comically large ice cream cone. Make sure you tip the kids bringing your food to you. Also, be aware that they are closed Monday and Tuesday. P.S. I've always enjoyed this spot when visiting the Occoee area. The food and service are good and the idea of a restaurant still operating with carhop style service is cool. Something has happened here in the past few years though. The ownership has placed divisive political stickers, signs and flags around the property. It makes the act of choosing a burger and shake feel like a political statement - and it most certainly isn't. Everyone deserves an opinion but the aggressive tone makes us think twice before stopping and on 3 separate occasions this summer friends of ours wouldn't stop with us due to the signs. No one cares how you vote or think but it's not comfortable to have our car in a parking lot where there's a sign saying *F* the president - regardless of who the president is or which party they represent- is on the front door. Also, service was good and we weren't give an opportunity to tip on a card transaction. We would have been happy take care of our server if the option were present! read more

Burgers are good, service is fast, atmosphere has always been my vehicle while eating. Ha! My only complaint is that it's a tad expensive for burgers! My friends and I went to raft on the ocoee river and decided to swing by this place for a late lunch (~3pm). You can order from your car (to-go orders) or go inside to eat. There is a small air conditioned room that fits about 20 people. Our waitress was very nice and was patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted to order. I got the chicken fillet with light mayo and small butterscotch cheesecake shake. My friends and I shared tater tots, curly fries, buffalo fries, and the corn nuggets. The chicken fillet sandwich was decently sized for something that only costs less than $4 and was decent (basically friend chicken tenders in a sandwich). I really liked the corn nuggets and thought the buffalo fries were unique. The shake also hit the spot for me. You could really taste the butterscotch and the texture of the shake was nice and dense. This place is on HWY 64 as you head toward Ocoee for White Water rafting or if your heading to the mountains. Easy access off of APD 40 too Great Shakes here, the burgers are homemade style and anyway you want them. But the coolness about this place is the drive in feel. You pull in and park. No buttons to push. Just park and start looking over menu on the side of the building then shortly a pretty young girl will come out and take your order. Great stop weekly for me and I enjoy every visit. read more

Shake Shack is a Cleveland staple. My co-worked and I pulled in to the parking lot the other day to watch something, not expecting to eat anything. We got there about an hour before they opened. After opening, the waitress came to our car to take our order and, we just ordered without thinking. Our food came out quickly. It was hot and fresh and my cheese burger 'hit the spot'. The prices are reasonable and the food is always fresh. And, from what I hear, the milkshakes are amazing, though I can't have them due to a sensitivity to lactose. Even during COVID, the Shake Shack remains open and strong, so stop in and have a burger and milkshake. read more

This place has been here for years, sadly the food has been consistent for years...it's location has to be what's kept it open. I stopped in last night due to basically every real restaurant in town being closed (corona virus). I like this restaurant. You pull up and they come out and wait on you. So, it's sorto like Sonic. I have been coming here off and on for 12 years. They are reasonable and their food is good. I felt it only fair to write a review because this place has mixed reviews, but some of the reviews were written by idiots so the place deserves another vote... This was our first time eating here as we were just passing through. It's a good spot. Nice little road side burger shack with good burgers. Definitely better than a fast food burger. The chocolate malt shake didn't taste very malty at all but it was good for a chocolate shake. Overall the food was good and the service was quick, despite it being pretty busy. I don't understand the weird reviews. It's good, fresh, and worth the stop. If I pass through again I would definitely eat here again. We stopped for a quick bite to eat on the way home from Cleveland yesterday and decided to try Shake Shack because it was on the way. I was surprised that it was a drive up and order at the car window with the wait person coming to you and you not having to ever leave the comfort of your own vehicle. I found that great under the current circumstances of the country today. The service was quick, the menu boards were in large print so I was able to read from where I sat. I ordered a chocolate shake and when I asked if I could be malted and they said any flavor could be. So I was very excited and added malted to my chocolate shake. I ordered a cheese steak and some fried pickles. Coming from the Philly area, I can say they nailed the taste of the cheesesteak, but I miss the bread from up North, otherwise it was definitely tasty and I would order it again when I had a hankering for a cheesesteak. Now the fried pickles, that was certainly something out of this world! I have had many versions since I have moved down here, but I have to say, these were top shelf!!! Crispy and delightful! I ate the entire basket and licked my fingers without even blinking! I will have a hard time driving by without stopping for an order of those yummy delicacies!!! And that shake... there is a reason it's called Shake Shack!!!! I slurped that down with out a thought and could have asked for more!!!! Take me back in time...a true drive in still in business. You drive up and honk your horn for someone to come take your order. Definitely a local favorite as the parking lot was packed on the afternoon we stopped by. There are a few seats inside and out but go the most part it is a drive up, order and eat in the car. We just had an ice cream cone and milkshake and it was great. We will definitely go back and try the burger and fries. Love seeing these type of restaurants still being supported by the community!
