Grand Opening Special: 5 oz. Cheeseburger w/ fries, and drink ($11.99) - added avocado $1
    Cherylynn N.

The last time I went through a McD drive-thru (don't judge), my eyes popped out of their sockets... A McFlurry, medium fries, and a drink for $16?! What can I say, phantom preggo cravings. With shrinkflation, it's probably the same with every fast food chain. So it's great to see a new small business open in the city that's focused on serving good food at accessible prices. Burger Stack quietly opened their doors today in El Corazón de la Misión/the heart of The Mission (took over Double Decker). No website or socials yet as they want to smooth out their kinks first. For their grand opening, Burger Stack is offering a 5 oz Cheeseburger with fries and a drink for $11.99! Juicy patty (cooked medium) crowned with melty cheese piled high with ultra fresh fixings: crisp lettuce, ripen tomatoes, pickles, and raw red onions in between a soft, buttery toasted brioche bun with a generous smear of mayo. I added avocado for $1. Served with piping hot crunchy fries, it's a classic American comfort meal done right. Just a heads up, food is very lightly seasoned. There's a condiment caddy on every table to season the food to your liking. Owner and staff are warm, welcoming, and friendly. Casual minimalist dining area with a handful of regular and high top tables. One TV to watch the game. If you're looking for a solid burger at wallet-friendly prices, give this new local business a try!

We were craving for some burgers and fries so ordered a fish burger, double stack burger, and some garlic fries. We also got Mitchell's ice cream (pistachio flavor and cookies & cream) as dessert. Everything was yummy with good flavor. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the double stack burger!!! I really like their patties. Really juicy and delicious. Next time I would like to order it again with a fried egg! All their burger buns are brioche buns. We had a chance to talk with the owner and he told us he picks nice burger buns out himself! Pretty spacious place with clean tables and seats. It's hard to find a place serving quality burgers at this price point now in SF so give it a try! Oh, they also have wings in the menu.

Delicious food and we have the special combo was awesome. I highly recommend it.

OMG you guys gotta stop by and try this place. It just opened up. It's fairly new. The people who own it are very nice and friendly and the garlic fries are awesome. I went there for lunch. It was very affordable and the ambience was really nice and clean. I really like this restaurant if you're in the Mission stop by you won't regret it

We usually order their regular burgers and make them a 'Lue Box' for an additional charge of +$5 for small fries and side sauce. This time around, we decided to try their specials, which made me fall in love with Smish Smash even more... Fish Dac Biet Fish Mac (a cool spin on McDonald's fish fillet) While the price points for the specials, are around $3-$4 more than their usual burgers, it's so worth however the Uni burger for $45 is a bit steep for what it is and I'd rather get Uni at omakase vs. as a topping for a smash burger. All this to say, Smish Smash deserves all the flowers, and I can't wait for them to open up shop in a standalone spot!

Delivery was not far so it still came hot but quality definitely felt lower than before. meat was a bit soggy, some crisp on some edges but other parts a little off. Biggest complaint for me beyond some textural differences was it was really salty! A bit hard to eat, needed a lot of water. It was still good, but definitely felt a bit off from before so hopefully just an off day.

This place was included on a list of Sunday brunch recommendations. I had seen other fellow Elite Yelpers recommending it, so I wanted to try it. We had the French toast sticks, very good, as well as the classic breakfast dish, my partner had the breakfast burrito. Both dishes were decent, but we were there for the company mostly. The restaurant was quaint and cute, more compact, but had a secondary overflow area in a separate part of the restaurant. There were restrooms on both side, and Causewells served as a chill morning for us with our friends. The location had a cute bar set up for evening link ups, and the service was very friendly. The vibe is more of what you go for the food is decent but won't necessarily blow you away. Try them out and see for yourself. For tourists, or visitors of the city, the location is in the Marina District, so Golden Gate Bridge is near if you'd like to sightsee. This location is also very close to the Presidio theater.
