    Burgers, onion rings, & fries

If you're looking for a delicious burger in a long-time Tulsa establishment, then Bill's is your place. We enjoyed cheeseburgers, fries, and onion rings on our visit. We arrived shortly after 10:30 when they opened and were able to get a seat at the counter. A line started to form by 11:00 so be sure to get there early because it gets busy!

Food was cooked to order and if you are looking for that old time greasy spoon burger shop, you have found it. We had the burger and fries and the burger was great, had a bit of a sweet taste to it, most likely from the onion and tomatoes. They only take cash

One of the best old school burger places that is still around. Great taste to the burger and the onion rings and fresh cut French fries are excellent too!!

Don't go anywhere else. Seriously. I've had Claude's, I've hard Arnold's, but they are not even fighting in Bills weight class. Bills jumbo burgers is on its own level, with the best cooked burger you can buy in Tulsa. I'm a 3rd generation customer, and I will continue to carry the Bills tradition to all of my friends and family. Pictured is their Big Red with cheese, their 2/3rd pounder. I loved every bite.

So if you are going to get a burger, get the big momma... And then don't expect to eat dinner later that night!! The burger is friggin fantastic and very juicy. My only complaint would be a less done bun, mine was a bit dried out.. BUT I still ate it and still would! I did get the onion rings and wow, they were my favorite brand served at another location but they get them deep golden brown but not burnt and now I have a suggestion for my other fav burger joint.. Hands down legit! Stop in early as there is very limited seating and fills up fast... plan on getting it to go for real!.

I thought the name "Jumbo Burgers" was just to make this place sound appealing, but this place has legit JUMBO burgers (and if you know me, you know I don't play when it comes to food portions). I was honestly surprised (and really happy) when I saw how big the burgers are here. They're just as good as they look, too!! The staff here has burger making down to a science - they manage to put all the condiments on NEATLY, so your burger isn't dripping/sliding around when you're eating (you don't realize how much you'd appreciate this until it actually happens). Onion rings were okay (just typical onion rings out of a bag). Fries were good. They charge for water here, fyi. Also fyi, the only difference between the Big Daddy and Bill's Special is that Bill's special has cheese. Inside only seats 6 people. There are a few picnic tables outside, but it seemed like most people were calling in orders and taking them to go.

Double cheeseburger and fries. All American lunch at it's finest.

An absolutely stellar burger joint. Not long on ambience, but it's a burger joint. Very limited seating, but they do have seats out front, weather permitting. If I had to guess, I'd say their flattop was hand forged by God, back in the day. It's got that years over years flavor that you just can't get anywhere else. Anytime I find myself around Utica and I-244, I try to stop in. These are old school diner burgers. Cook thin with a great crust on each patty. The buns steamed just enough to get really soft and soak up the juice. Fresh cut fries cooked the way mom used to. This place shows up on just about any self-respecting burger bucket list, and if you eat there, you'll know why. And you'll have the advantage of being able to cross it off your own burger bucket list.

The best burger in Tulsa and area. I wish it was closer to South Broken Arrow so I could eat there every week.

Really good burgers and onion rings. Burger was definitely jumbo and the battered onion rings were perfect.

Oklahoma seems to have a certain pride when it comes to burger joints that keep it simple. Tulsa…read morehas many chains, local restaurants and pop-ups that are familiar and filling. Encroaching on a seemingly crowded market can be tough but somehow Howdy feels like an already-established diner. While many newer burger places attempt to overwhelm the consumer, Howdy Burger's approach seems to be keeping things simple and delivering what the people want while staying true to the "burger joint" identity. I've had Howdy Burger 2 or 3 times through the years. My first visit was likely in/at Mother Road Market but a more recent visit was on October 29th (2025). In the midst of an economic stall (the federal government was shut down for 4 weeks at that point), eating out seemed like a luxury. I visited around 2pm for lunch. The weather was chilly and the staff was readily available. I was greeted and I browsed the menu for about 2mins before ordering. I ended up getting a single burger & rodeo fries. Afterwards, me & the lady cashier had a brief conversation about the state of the world as business was slower than usual. The restaurant isn't huge but it was well maintained. I sat near the West windows and the food came out shortly after. The highlight of the food was easily the burger itself. It was a decent size, the bread was soft, and the patty was just thick enough. Each bite was equally satisfying as they didn't hold back on the toppings. I will say that the fries are pretty standard, even with the extra toppings. I don't think the Rodeo Fries are worth wild but it didn't hurt to try. Lastly, I LOVE the variety of sauces they offer and the staff are happy to add them directly onto the sandwich or place them on the side. I've since returned to have the Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was just as good, if not better, than most famed chicken sandwich spots. I wasn't familiar with Howdy for a while and, as mentioned, there are many other places to get a cheeseburger, sandwich and/or fries. But what I like about Howdy is that they don't try too hard, they know what sells and they offer great service. Considering the price, consistency in their products and good people behind the counter, Howdy Burger is good enough to replace your favorite burger chain and/or fast food spot.

And bing in town on business, I had to go. I went the single meat w/ chz and. Risky FFs. Hanks did not disappoint. Good ol' fashioned juicy chz burger. One where the meat juices mix with the mayo and chz and oh so good. Very filling. And the FFs so crispy. Yo won't be disappointed. Tip: for the best burger deal, get Hank's 1/2 lb special. The menu is straight forward, straight out of the 60's style, and the place was poppin' at 2:30 in the afternoon. I ordered the Hank's special with cheese and pickles and onions as my only produce. I also ordered tots. I found out later that I could've got them "loaded", which entails tots being smothered in chili and cheese. Next time for sure. My wife had the single with fries. The fries came out piping hot and for simple fries, they were crisp and tasty. My wife's only complaint is the lettuce was wilty, and that is she doesn't like the onions grilled into the burger. That's not a knock on Hank's, just her preference. Me, I love grilled onions on and in my burger. The burger bun was soft and melded with the burger and cheese into a burger nirvana. I look forward to trying their chili cheese tots next time and their milkshakes looked very tasty. We'll be back for sure.

It takes a LOT of reading before you can figure out what you want. I understand wanting to highlight farms that the beef is sourced from, but it shouldn't be the most prominent thing in the menu. It's super confusing. Last, the truffle fries need reworked badly. I got fries with some truffle-esque condiment squeezed randomly on top. Fries needed to be tossed in the sauce while hot, so it was a soggy mess. 1/5, wouldn't recommend those.
