First let me just say this, a year ago when I first came here the food was amazing. After a few more trips it seems like it went from amazing to straight up nasty. Tonight I went and ordered $36 dollars worth of food for me and my children which was 5 burger specials. The fries was not fresh at all, they was very stale and hard to eat. Don't let the name fool you, this place is more of a Mexican restaurant than anything, but they certainly do have hamburgers. They feature steak sandwiches, pastrami and shrimp too. Pastrami burrito looks interesting. They have a couple tables outdoors that can be a sunny spot to eat- albeit on the busy Orangethorpe, it's maybe not so relaxing. On a recent visit, I made the mistake of trying the pollo asada. It was super greasy, which wouldn't necessarily make it bad to me, but for all the bright orange 'juice' that came off it, it was surprisingly bland tasting. Tacos are small with soft tortillas and salsa fresca, and burritos come stuffed with beans and cheese inside. Portions are good sized, but at 5 or 6 bucks for a burrito, they should be. Great burgers. Good service. Probably the best drive-through burger around. Unfortunately, their fries have been very undercooked lately. They've been pale and limp. (No one wants a flaccid fry.) We had dinner here last Friday. We had the pastrami sandwich and enchiladas dinner plate. Really good pastrami sandwich. My husband said he would order it again. This morning I went to burger town ordered French toast and a full stack of pancakes. The lady on the intercom asked, 2 or 3 pancakes? I said 3 please, a full stack. Well now its all been updated and is under new management. Same great taste and same menu. Go give it a try! Oh and for you drive thru complainers and whiners. This is a real old school family run burger stand not burger king or some corporate food mill. If you want fast drive through go next door to taco bell you cry babies. Or else come in and sit down and enjoy your meal and wait for a real cooked meal from fresh food , just like you should! I think they should close the drive through all together, its too inviting to the mcdonalds type lazy's. Come in and have a seat or go home! Not sure about this place. We sat at the drive thru for LITERALLY ten minutes before someone took our order. Then, they got our order wrong because they couldn't understand us, and we couldn't understand them. The drive thru was not quick at all - would've been faster to order inside. And the lady who took our order was no where near friendly. She was borderline rude and curt with us, irritated that she didn't have our very simple order right. The food - I have very mixed feelings about it. At first, I was happy they gave such large portions for such a low price. And my San Francisco burger tasted good at first too. But then I started to taste the mushrooms and onions - not very appetizing. And it's so rich and greasy that my stomach felt weird all night. I don't think I will ever come back here, and I feel like we wasted our time and money. Burgertown isn't the same any more! Prices are higher, less food for the $, and these new owners DONT care about their customers! I ordered a kids chicken strips. It says you get 2 chickens for kids at 2.99. It always came with a small drink and fries. I said something to the owner and he says he has never had kid meals. Which is false cause I have always order that meal for years. He then says to show him our receipts to prove it! So I paid $3 for 3 small chicken strips! What a freakin rip off!!! read more

This used to be our go to burger place but it has seriously gone down hill. They used to have the best onion rings but either they don't have them or they are bad. Yesterday very soggy and breading fell off. Since that's what we go for why bother their burgers are just ok. Also yesterday they didn't have ice cream for a shake. This was Saturday for lunch. I didn't get my beverage when I ordered when I picked up my food the lady could clearly see I didn't have it and had been charged and gave the order to someone else to deal with. The Food was not good. The Chicken burrito was Huge but didn't deliver. The chicken ( which I asked for white breast chicken as they displayed on the drive thru menu board which they offer with their salads) was chopped up & diced low grade chicken meat and not of good quality & 100% not what i asked for and was told i would receive ( I asked twice for white breast meat, even in Spanish too!) . The taquitos were ok and they only had chicken. ( one order of taquitos onoy comes with 2 taquitos). The salsa Verde (green salsa) and the watered down guacamole which reminded me of the el pollo loco salsa bar guac. option were not good at all. The Service was ok, to my surprise after reading all the negative comments on yelp. The main problem with this food establishment is not the employees, the problem is the management and ownership and you can clearly see this from the exterior of the building not being kept up to industry standards to compete with other fast food drive thru's. read more

Been going here with the family for at 10 years or more, and then you get these wanna be owners that just want to save money..This place sucks now ,, greedy with the food. Charges you for every sauce you ask for, even ketchup , and then the weak owner says the zucchini changed for the better.. I think everything changed for the worst,, especially the high prices .... All the food here is good, but a saturday morning burrito on the way to work hits the spot. Be warned, their burritos are roughly the size of a pillow. If you are not a big eater, split it with a friend, or you will not be wanting to eat again until dinner. The salsa is hot, but very tasty. They come with eggs, hashbrowns, and either sausage, bacon, or ham. Ask for the combo and you get all three. Your tastebuds will give you 5 stars. read more

They have a variety of food from burgers, tacos, steak, fries, burritos, sandwiches, etc. My favorites are the bacon cheeseburger which is delicious and chili cheese fries which is a big portion and are greasy but real good. Prices are good. The service is good. You can also call your order ahead of time and it will be ready in 10 minutes. Besides containing a comical amount of cold cuts on top of the salad, there were a lot of fresh sliced vegetables underneath, including bell peppers, mushrooms, onions carrots and celery. Original management and crew are back. Newly remodeled. The inside is super nice and clean. The girls walk around making sure that everything is stocked and neat. Always friendly and helpful. The food is so delicious and always fresh. They have a variety of food. But our favorite is the chili cheese fries and also the chicken teriyaki plate. Generous portions!
