Second visit. Better this time, presumably because I was beyond the grand opening period and outside the lunch rush. Good burger but don't bother with a single if you eat more than a bird and it's only a buck more for a double, so a much better value. Fries come in regular, large and bucket sizes... Really need something available smaller than the regular. Filling up on fries may be the solution to the single burger being too small. Love the Coke Freestyle machines but nearly $3 for a 16oz drink is a little excessive. Across the street from my office so it's convenient, but for the price I'll probably hit the 5 Guys a mile up the road more often... A bit cheaper and at least as good. read more

Hands down, The best Veggie burger I have ever had. We stumbled upon BurgerFi being in the neighborhood and thought, "why not". Being a vegetarian, there aren't many options I can have. So, when we saw on the menu they offer a VegiFi burger, I feel in love. I asked the cashier about their veggie burgers and she affirmed they were delicious. Just enough endorsement for me to order it. I opted not to have cheese added, but was informed the burger was made with a small amount of parmesan cheese.This burger is not vegan. We ordered a family bucket of fries and they were the best fresh cut fries I've had in a long time. Overall, We waited maybe 10 minutes for our meal. A great indication the burgers are cooked to order. We enjoyed our visit and the food and will be back. read more

It was a good burger (not great) but the price of a meal is absurd. I ordered a burger, fries and a drink...it was over $16. If I'm spending that kind of money on a burger, I'll sit down in a nicer location. The fries were very good and hot, the amount was capable of feeding an army. I liked the option for a Coke out of the bottle. I don't feel like I received great customer service. I had never been here and it took me a while to make a decision. My boyfriend and I live in the area and we were aware of this new development taking place. Naturally we drove past this place and saw all the new places opening up. Well, for starters, I like burgers but love fries. Their hand-cut fries are salty but have a great crunch. The regular is enough to share between two people. The BurgerFi Cheeseburger was pretty okay. A little plain; not many flavors but it was juicy and fresh. The sandwich was rather small for the price - a common issue I am seeing in other reviews. It's true. The Vienna Beef hot dog was delicious! I tried a bite of my boyfriend's - I would come back for item. Yum. I tried the swirl custard sundae with sprinkles. Their custard is really delicious!!!! The flow of this place is horrible. There is often a line and that line obstructs the way of getting to the machines and toppings. Poor, poor flow. They utilize a device called "Table Tracker". I am not convinced of the efficiency of using it as two workers came up to us asking if we were "so-n-so" because we had tracker on our table. It's not very fluid. Overall, it's good but not totally amazing. I would come here and not complain about it but it wouldn't be my first choice. So... my previous review was pulled as it was not descriptive enough, and it was recommended that I try again, and describe it a personal way, my experiences at BurgerFI. I stopped in to try this place out right after the location opened, and once I stepped into the place and heard the blaring tones of what appeared to be a 1992 pop music Pandora channel, I knew that I was in for it. The food is decent, with the quality being pretty up there, yet not really all that original. It's not much more than a different take on 5 Guys. This was taken from their website, and it kind of sets the mood: "Our beef is purveyed from the best, most natural ranches on earth. Where cattle roam free. Eat grass. Breathe mountain air. And, are treated humanely. This doesn't come easy. Certainly not cheap. Truth is, there are simpler ways to put a burger on a bun. But, they're not better." That being said, you need to go in knowing that this will be more costly than just grabbing a quick burger. For the cost, the burgers are relatively small on the portion given, and while the ingredients are fresh, and tasty, it seems that it is too high end of a price for the end product. I tried the double 28 burger, and it was pretty good. Good flavor, toppings were nice and fresh, and the cheese was spot on. I also tried a chicago style dog, and it too was tasty, but way over priced for what you get. The fries are not any different then what you could get at 5 Guys or Boradwalk Burgers. The real issue that I had was the atmosphere. This place is so hipster, I walked in a "mans man" and left in skinny jeans, smelling patchouli, and writing terrible poetry about my one gear, vegan bicycle... while drinking PBR and getting a neck tattoo. I truly had to make the decision to get the food to go as I really could not stand being in the establishment longer than the wait. If my rating was on food quality alone, I would have given BurgerFi 3 stars, but the place felt pretentious to me, and if I can't go in and try to absorb the atmosphere and get the most of the experience, then I can't justify recommending the place to anyone. read more

BurgerFi was a treat from the beginning to the end of our service. When we first walked in, we were greeted by (who we would soon find out to be) the owner. He was sweeping the front of the restaurant and blended in as another employee (love that!). We went to the front and ordered out food. The owner came and chatted with us and found we were there for the Lions vs Bears (go Bears!) game. He engaged in a nice conversation with us as well as some gentle teasing. He also brought us some free samples of custards at the end of the meal. As for customer service, the employees went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice experience. My mom and I split the breakfast all day burger with fries and some onion rings. YUM. The burger was incredible and had a hash brown on it - seriously. . . what's better than a hash brown on a burger? The fries were addicting (and ample), and the onion rings were pretty much the size of a small child. If you are visiting the Farmington area, please check out BurgerFi. Not impressed. Let me elaborate on that. It's Friday and every man loves a good burger on Friday to kick off the weekend. Which is exactly what me and my friends were aiming to do. I was excited to try this place out as it just opened this week, trying a new burger on Friday sounded like a great idea, but boy was that a bad idea. I spent $11 on a meal I could've got at Wendy's or any of the other standard fast-food fare in the area, heck I could've went to Five Guys and spent the exact same amount and been incredibly pleased with the correct portion of food for the money. The size of the burger I ordered was pitiful just slightly bigger then a slider, granted I only ordered the single. thankfully I didn't order a double my bill would've been even more shocking. As far as the taste of the food it was nothing special, just average. I do not understand the importance of the mats placed on the table which they demand you place your buzzer thingy on. If you don't put the item on the mat they act like its a miracle they figured out you were the person that ordered the food. Which is amazing to me because I think there are literally a total of ten tables in the entire place so the reason for this whole system is beyond me. So in the end I left being still hungry, unsatisfied and with much less money in my pocket than I had before my Friday lunch adventure took a disappointing turn at burger-fi. read more

Went to burgerfi with a friend for lunch and was kinda disappointed. When entering into the restaurant, we were mobbed by a corporate marketing guy that was only interested in taking our picture for their webpage. When we told him no that we werent interested, he got an attitude and walked away, and never came back around to see if everything was good... aka table touches.. When placing my order, the girl behind the counter, never suggested any add ons or upsales to my order. Didnt inform me either about the promotional event that was going on until I brought it up to her. The staff on the cook line, including the GM and AGM, seemed like they werent into the "Welcome to BurgerFi" "All Natural spirit at all. No one smiling it was like you were at a funeral. The burger was over cooked and really tasted plain, not hot and juicy. This was suppose to be new patties, but didnt seem like there was a change. The fries werent crispy crunchy like they are suppose to be, more like limpy and had been sitting for a while. Took 10 minutes to get my order, with a restaurant that really wasnt busy. I was there for almost 3 hours and the only time an employee came to my table was when they brought me and my friend food. Never came to see how we were doing, or if we needed anything. We sat there with other patrons for almost an hour wondering when someone was going to come out to pick up trash or even wipe down tables. Standards definately not followed. All in all nothing has really changed at BurgerFi since i was there almost 10 months ago. Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday with a coworker. It was lively, but not packed. I wasn't in the mood for beef, so I tried the chicken dog and upgraded to Chicago style. It cost around $6.50 (I had tap water with it at no charge. Not because I'm cheap, because tap water is just fine in these parts of the neighborhood.) The dog was butterflied and tanned on a griddle. It tasted good but not super flavorful on it's own. The toppings were fresh, and the relish a neon green as expected since it is Chicago style. The bun was soft with poppy seeds and a decent bun-to-dog ratio. My coworker had a basic double burger. She said it was 'good'. Whoop-dee-doo. As for the experience in the restaurant. I liked the vibe, but they seemed a bit under-staffed. They ask for your name upon order and customers are given a pager that lights when the order is ready. Someone from the kitchen will occasionally holler a name, but there were only 2 cashiers who were too busy ringing up customers to also efficiently manage the orders as they were ready. New customers like us weren't sure what to do when hearing a name but not having the pager light up yet so we sat still until the cashier/runner found us for delivery. The servers (including the "food runner") were friendly and the place was clean; otherwise I may have given it two stars given the "ok" food and somewhat pricey experience for a somewhat gourmet hot dog. I might come back if someone else asked me to go; but I wouldn't seek it out. Too many choices in this neck of the woods. read more

Went here on a sunny Sunday afternoon, and it was actually getting crowded. They have outdoor seating facing away from Haggerty Rd which makes for a better outdoor dining area. Pro's: tasty onion rings & frieds, freshly made burgers, alcohol served, cool fountain drink "computer" with about 7 flavors of Coke (cherry, orange, lime, vanilla, etc.), decor (green!), wifi order "discs" that you place on your table to let them know where you are sitting (?) Con's: prices are just too high for what you get (other reviewers have backed me up on this). In a blind taste test, their cheeseburger would be indistinguishable from Culver's or Wendy's, yet a few bucks more. I cannot say if their beef costs any more (grass fed?), but if it does, you are paying for it. The $6 to $9 burger landscape has been getting hypercompetitive now for several years, and I honestly do not see how this place will survive. The boyfriend and I came here and we were expecting a good burger, and honestly this is one of the best tasting burgers I've had around the area. When you get it, they have a grilled stamp "BurgerFi" on the burger, how picture perfect is that? The fries are better than good, and even though we were eyeing people who had an order of onion rings, we were satisfied with those fries, MMM! The second time that we came, amazing burger and fries once again, but I wanted to try something new. I got the ice cream. Holy cow was it good. I got chocolate ice cream with a little fudge and brownie pieces. Normally, I instantly regret getting dessert because I'm so full, but this time, I regretted nothing. I went today for the first time since it has changed owners. I got my favorites the Veggie burger, and the parm&herb fries, and let's just say I was very disappointed. Start off, you have the cashier wearing his hat backwards, I know that is not acceptable. The Veggie burger I got was like mush. Not cooked to its regular standards. I felt like it was mashed potatoes I was eating not the tasty veggie fi burger that I always gotten in the past. The fries were horrible. You can tell they were par cooked. They were soggy, mushy, and full of grease. Not the crispy crunchy fries I am used to. To top it off a drink at almost 3 dollars... wow I can go get a 2 liter from the grocery store.
