Very disappointed in our visit last night! Burgers were so dry. My husband sent his back and got another overcooked burger. I also think it is unreasonable to charge an additional $4 upgrade for 15 tater tots. Manager didn't seem concerned enough about our experience to visit our table, and the waitress was more interested in be attentive to bigger tables. Good place for a Burger and a drink. I went with the Swiss and Mushroom Burger and they substituted a Turkey Patty for the Beef Patty. Very good! Also had their Onion Rings instead of Fries. The cheese curds tasted like styrofoam chips. Not moist, not melty. Like shit that was fried and then forgotten about for two days. Was hoping the turkey burger would be better. No such luck. Remember the scene from Christmas Vacation where they have the turkey dinner. Something like that. Overcooked, flavorless, small and DRY. If there was a dog in the place, I would have passed it off to him if he would have taken it. On the bright side, my company was five stars. I ordered the Wisconsin Cheese Curd burger, which was the only burger on the menu that contained a modicum of originality. Even with only two options for cooking your meat - well done, and the conveniently vague "a little pink", they still failed to deliver as my meat was way overcooked when I asked for the latter. It also looked nothing like the photo, so props to their marketing team for a job well done. The size was also rather abysmal for the price point. The burger tasted slightly better than fast food fare, so it wasn't entirely terrible, just sorely disappointing. As a new place, they seemed to be doing pretty good. I came here for lunch on Saturday and there were plenty of people enjoying themselves, which was a good sign especially given the location. I really enjoyed the iPad experience - the application they were using for the menu was designed very well. The iPad also had various games on it which I imagine would be useful for children while they wait for their meal or to continuously one up your drunk buddy as you two duel it out over top score. The burgers would have been much better if they used one thick patty instead of two thinner patties - not only is it difficult to get pink with those, it's also harder to get the two patties consistent (one patty was a bit more well done than the other). So... Why do I not trust an iPad while ordering food at a restaurant as opposed to a real server? Because our order confirmed that there is most certainly a language barrier. My friends ordered two burgers. Both came over-cooked and the cheese curds were cursed, crunchy and black. Our server recommends that they not use the iPad on their next visit... I enjoyed the mango habanero wings, which were ample in portion and the size of the wings themselves was surprising. Mango habanero is a staple of mine any time that I see it on a menu. It's hot enough that I'll enjoy it and difficult to fuck up. Here, the heat was purely on the undertone. I enjoyed a chipotle, dark chocolate truffle prior to my meal that had more spice. While the wings were good, the flavor was good... The thrill of eating something with a spice was robbed by an inadequate chef. For drinks, there's a decent amount to select from. All over-priced. I had a pint of Lonely Blonde for $5. My friends had an under-Oreo'd Oreo milkshake and a blasphemous "Bloody Mary" that used MGD instead of vodka. If you already drink that shit, you'll be ... "OK", I guess. If not, you'll be as revolted by the concept as we were. The highlights of our experience are as follows... 1. Our waitress, not the iPad, was very kind, attentive and genuinely apologetic about the horrible outcome of our food. 2. The management knocked $15 off of the tab for the mistake. 3. The beef sticks that came with the "Bloody Mary" were decent, only because they were store bought. Probably from the attached Shell Station, which I'm sure has better food. My kiddos go to daycare really close to this so we thought having dinner here would be super convenient..and it totally was. Biggest complaint is the booths, it's impossible to hold a fussy baby while sitting at a both...there just isn't enough space between the table and your body. We had 4 kids and 3 adults with the biggest booth and it was TIGHT. All they have is booths and I usually love them so I won't hold any of this against them..just a warning for peeps. I ordered the chicken wrap, husband ordered the guacamole burger, everyone ordered fresh cut fries and we ordered an appetizer of cheese curds. Cheese curds was a massive appetizer! Way more than you would ever expect. They were pretty good, batter was a little thick on some of them. I would say 3/5 on those. Wrap had legit grilled chicken instead of the processed grilled chicken most places use so that was awesome. It would have been awesome if they would have warmed the wrap and actually rolled it properly. It was hard to eat and way too much tortilla to fillings. Both my friend and I wouldn't recommend it. Husband wasn't impressed with the burger at all. It looked really good so I am wishing I would have tasted it. He doesn't want to go back again so it must not have been impressive at all. French fries were fresh cut and would have been amazing if they came out hot..they didn't so that ruined it completely. First impression. Just placed our order via the iPad on our table. This is a first for us. Server is very pleasant. While tapping out my review on my iPhone my xxx root beer was delivered. Ate dinner there this evening. Even though it was a slightly hazardous drive due to snow and ice the place was packed. Place is a little on the small side and in my opinion in an odd location in a small strip mall, but it appears to be very popular. I honestly didn't know what to expect quality wise and there was slammed with customers. Order the Wisconsin Cheese Curd burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Very juicy and a decent size with fries. Wife had the Turkey Burger and said it was really good as well. They have little IPad stations on the tables and the bar that you can use to order, but the servers will obviously take it as well. They seem to be pretty hands off which is great if that is your preference. The room is the standard flat screen tvs, booths and tables with a pretty good sized bar. Beer selection is not that extensive, but you do have Surly, Fulton and a few others on tap. Overall a great experience in a place that I wish were larger and in a less tucked away location.
